  1. If they put it in I'm sure it would be possible to go back and forth. No points in not taking a customer's money if they want to give it to you.
  2. Title really says it all. There would probably be some upset people who have leveled up both advanced classes of a base class (i.e. Assassin/Sorcerer of Inquisitor), but honestly this would be a really hot seller. Bioware would be stupid not to put this in. Out of my 8 characters I'm fairly happy with all my choices, but I'd probably change my Jedi Shadow to a Jedi Sage in a heartbeat. Let me be clear: This would only be possible to basically undo the choice you made at level 10. It wouldn't allow drastic changes like Jedi Sage -> Vanguard, nor am I recommending a faction change. Story continuity would be ruined. (Though built-in betrayal quests would be an awesome addition for future expansions).
  3. There's really not much detail to go into this, it'd just be nice if we could customize our weapon sounds in addition to the color crystals and base appearance we already have. This is for anyone who has spent an hour going through every picture of every blaster rifle in the game, then spent the next few hours trying to obtain that perfect one only to find that it sounds less damaging than a pea shooter. I know this is an unlikely implementation, but it'd be nice to have nonetheless.
  4. I appreciate that moderation keeps things simple and organized, however, we have recent attempts to start threads such as these: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=460233 Which are immediately redirected to threads such as these: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=200134 I'm sorry, but sentiments in January do not match the sentiments in May. It's been half a year watching pvp go from booming to barely available, and forwarding us to a thread that was created not even a month after release looks like nothing short of propaganda. I'm quite certain that attitudes and opinions have changed, and we'd prefer action over a redirection to a thread that's both outdated and misleading. I'm tired of coming home shortly after midnight and not being able to play a game I enjoy. I've unsubscribed because of it. I'd like to subscribe again, but there's nothing to come back to. Please get it together and make this work. Stop pushing posts around to make it look like there's no consensus.
  5. Nonsense, self-plug, nonsense. Your logic is completely and utterly derailed by the fact that this was caused by a fix to Miraluka clipping. A graphical error that hurt one race. Now the "fix" has bugged multiple races. All they would really have to do is revert the changes. The functional models are already there. If possible use new models for Miraluka and old models for everyone else. They looked better anyway.
  6. The two points that post made were that warhammer had 12 warzones as compared to our 3 (now 4), and that warzones weren't tiered. Obviously more is better, but as far as the tiering goes it was a bad idea even there. If it had been scaled rather than tiered then I wouldn't have hit a brick wall after 20 and been able to continue leveling up. Thus I would not have quit as an alternative to forced questing. If pvp was tiered here, then all tiers with possibly very rare exceptions would have never seen queues. This would also hurt the 50's queue as there are people like myself who would never have gotten to 50 without an active 10-49 bracket.
  7. Unless you started late. Then everyone was already level capped. So if you attempted to level up via pvp you could get through the first bracket easily, then the second bracket painfully. After that there were no queues and you were forced to quest or quit. I chose the latter. I want our issues fixed just as much as the next guy, but you're idealizing in retrospect.
  8. Since it's basically a reverse taunt, I'd assume if they did implement something like that it'd similarly decrease damage. On the other hand, Force Camouflage is the Marauder's threat lowering ability and the functionality is similar. How would you handle smugglers? Or troopers? (See: Surrender / Diversion) The smuggler/operative one is especially tricky because it'd have to be universally useful but not overpowering - which is hard to do considering the survivability and functionality of the healer and damage trees are so radically different.
  9. Riiiight. I sure have survived quite a few falls from skyscrapers and cliffs, daily fire pits, saber attacks and blaster wounds. As this is such a believable non-death it's clear that we need to protect its integrity.
  10. As opposed to the pseudo-dead that happens when you die in this game?
  11. Obviously this is low-priority / high-resource so if you like it just put it in your bag and get back to it at a later date. Occasionally...maybe 1 in 100 times...instead of my Jedi dying...maybe he just disappears and has his robes fall to the ground instead. (force users only, please) *waits for the slew of "OMG HORRIBLE IDEA" comments*...people on this forum are so negative
  12. When it's time to have sex with Mako you can't avoid it. Every choice you make...even the one that is an apparent deflection...results in the fade out. Once you kiss her you're on rails. Also, if you decline marriage you still get those annoying letters in the mail about how she registered you in a marriage database. I actually accidentally initiated all this because I was watching the outcomes of all 3 conversations then failed to hit Esc in time to cancel it. It ended rather abruptly...only one line after the kiss and then conversation over. Anyway, it didn't upset me that much because I don't really care about my BH's story. I'm just presenting this as further evidence to the original poster's theory.
  13. Yeah...honestly it's made me hate miralukans. Should have changed the offending masks rather than crap on everyone else's. Couple of ongoing threads about this: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=416881
  14. Nothing in my post suggested that I had forgotten this. I'm fully aware it's from a different time period. I was asking if there's any specific canonical reasons that this series of helmets *can't* be created at this point in the Star Wars universe. Not guesses or conjecture, but facts such as "This model helmet wasn't developed until __." If there aren't specific facts, then styles can persist over a long period of time and there's no reason for it to not. Example: Imperial uniforms. Globular imperial space shuttle designs. Jedi and Sith "fashion." It can be further argued that based on what we see all around us in this universe thousands of years have very little impact on the designs of everything from clothes to starships. So unless there's specific reasoning that it can't exist, then temporal arguments are irrelevant.
