The problem with most MMO's and that's the level Cap, it is in a way what introduces the "end game" and "dailies" situation and eventually boredom.
The change is a simple one and its already in-game; and that's PvP, a lvl 20 char stats are adjusted to that of a lvl 49 the only things missing are the specials.
So why not add the ability to go the other way ( and yes it is the same as an upcoming mmo ). Think about it. The issue today is that a lvl 50 can go back to any planet without fear of dieing. Some think this is a good but for me and others it removes the enjoyment of going back.
The benefits are huge.
Dailies can be on any planet and not a select few, the rewards depending on your level are commendations but you are presented with everything from that lvl to lvl 50 so you can choose which ones you want.
Events are not tied to one planet and a zone on that planet but can be anywhere and set to the level of the planet.
PvP becomes close to even levels so a lvl 30 would be able to assist in an event or incident on a planet where a group of lvl 50's ( adjusted down to lvl 30 ) but still with their abilities.
Also guild members would be able to assist lower level chars and not power level them through but enjoy the challenge again of the quest area.
This for me would be a great bonus to the game taking it away from a theme park and adding back the RPG as players are not pushed into the high level areas only but have the ability to re-explore old planets but also have that worry that if attacked you are not going to one shot kill them.
