Why would they compensate the initial nerf? Scoundrels were overpowered -> class gets nerfed. If you compensate, the class remains overpowered. Maybe try using logic?
lol? I'm a War Hero with full Battlemaster and an alt at valor 50. Unless there's a better way to qualify "PvPer" you are incorrectly discrediting my opinion. Not every class needs a Sprint or Leap. There's a reason why you get a bonus to run speed.
Not talking about you in particular.
Survivability is fine, mobility is fine, burst was problematic, sustained damage is there if they get the numbers right. Talents/Abilities have been adjusted to shift damage away from burst towards sustain.
Well quitting based on patch notes that aren't even live isn't exactly proceeding with a clear idea either. It's obvious they wanted to rework the Scoundrel to make it less focused around one or two skills. They did that. Now the only issue is numbers which can always be adjusted. Otherwise we'd be back at square 1 where a Burst class who has good DPS for PvE is completely broken in PvP due to the how front-loaded the DPS is.
Nerfs how? If the new Talents give +100% damage to the respective skills, is that a nerf? Now tone that number down to some arbitrary number where you decide the tradeoff is even? See my point? You don't even know the new damage numbers but are crying nerf anyway.
Tactics probably viable, Assault Spec not stupid ridiculous with Ion Pulse spam till HIB recharges. Sucks cause I liked Assault Spec, but it became FOTM so would rather see people pick a new class.
Hey, guy. Unless you are consistently (ab)using Disappearing Act within 7.5s then the cooldown on Shoot First is negligible. The cooldown and damage reduction on the other two skills are being compensated via Talents. For all you know the compensation could be worth more than the nerfs that you have focused on rather than the overall picture.
You guys don't even know the improvement in damage with the new talents. For all you know it could be stronger. Just basing "class is worthless" off the cooldown nerf is just short-sighted.
PvP isn't PvE. There's no such thing as aggro. The only way you're going to get people to directly attack a beefed up Tank is if you are dealing a significant amount of damage. Even if they made Shield work against Tech, Tanks on average would probably become weaker since players will be dealing less damage at the cost of survivability that won't be utilized against a smart opponent.
They said they wanted their game to have an e-sport scene. Best case scenario they lied to get a type of playerbase that doesn't/didn't belong in this game, worst case scenario they failed horribly.
