  1. I cant understand their logic of making it come from raids. SOOO easy and simple. Wow managed to place a long series of quests or material requirements to craft legendary weapons. This games miss so much opportunity for content, this is just one factor.
  2. Because the game does have faults. Minor to Major people will pick at them till the game is perfect which will never happen. But stick around, these updates look promising. I cant see a reason to change them.
  3. These are mostly notes on new flashpoints etc.. Not much indicating toward bug fixes, mechanical improvements. But this may be torhead leaving this out (on purpose). Ill keep telling myself that anyway. Its news to me, and others no doubt. Just because you've seen this already doesn't mean others haven't I thought bring attention by posting it for discussion.
  4. Well actually, all these notes look brilliant. 1.3 new flashpoint with the dread masters. Which is only one addition If this is true this may revitalise the game.
  5. No doubt this post will get closed in minutes... so ill keep it short. But while flicking through the pages of torhead I came across this. http://www.torhead.com/guide/leaks. Seem's Legit, in many aspects. Anyone think these would be decent updates if they're true.
  6. Completely agree with the OP. Good game, but the Developers are trying to sweep matters under the rug which really is more than disappointing. You start going down a bad road which will leave the game in a massive state. Good post OP 5 stars.
  7. There seems to be a big implication that advanced classes are actual classes, I fail to see why they dont put jedi shadow or jedi sage has entered ...
  8. Playing on the Lord calypho server, Think thats how its spelt on empire fleet chat I noticed how it was quite alive and well. In-comparison to the Replic side of the progenitor.
  9. The marketing campaign was actually brilliant, this is where I believe most of the money went to. But 1 and 2 aren't going to happen after months of deception, and hiring more members of staff it costs money. And point 4 I cant understand why they haven't done this. They can't be dis-honest to face.
  10. The problem is with the game though, tier gear is FAR too easy to get FAR too easy, rataka I could get within a week of 50, and battlemaster. I'm not one yet, but basically just doing the same 3 warzones * 200. After the 10th time of each its just facepalm. Its boring as hell, but after masses amounts of grinding its still not even much of a challenge. Other games such as wow, there were build ups, dungeons, heroic dungeons, raid's easy 10 man, raids hard 10 man, raids heroic 10 man, and 25 man/heroics etc. Beating these took months, PVP took months to get geared, which by the time you do more content is out, my guild is moving on to nightmare already and the games been out 2 months. In that time we've all levelled to 50 geared fully in pve and pvp.
  11. Guilds from all over the worlds, with different guilds they'll want different needs. They'll probably cover most areas of the game, but each to their own, your opinion, I believe the summit will be a stop forward for the game.
  12. Could you display any evidence indicating that the game is growing? other than copy sales, just cause people buy the game doesn't mean to say whether they like it or not. And.. You just did, didn't you?
  13. There seems to be a lack of communication on the subject. The Q&A doesn't cover enough questions, the discussion at the summit I imagine would cover a wide variety of topics. Its not a good sign when that's true, I get more enjoyment commenting on posts on the forums.
  14. Thats the problem though, while some of the Q&A questions may be thorough, others are simply replies such as 'its being considered, watch this space'. Thats 1/10 questions gone to pot. If they're in an audience with people we get a full answer on matters, and we put pressure on them to act (sorry just trying to keep it on topic). But yeah While I can see what your saying about the hoods, I was simply pointing this out because I felt this was less important, but questions they answered were less important than that, matters which were asked by a good number of people such as ilum of same gender relations weren't asked whilst questions which were asked by a fewer number were being answered simply on the basis that they could answer them. And the Summit, if its how I imagine the guild leaders pick and choose a question, not the developers.
  15. Look at the grammar. 'They don't appear to be doing much' Okay? ... Appear. Behind the scenes they may be doing enormous amounts. We just don't know but on our end it doesn't seem to be major movements at this current time. And the guild summit will give us a lot more clarification on the movements.
  16. Oh no your right. They're making good progression in the game, but hood's over an entire mechanic of end-gaming? And if they're struggling to fit 10 questions in a week then obviously changes need to be made. Thats the problem with Q&A because its limited to 10 questions so many more go unanswered. The guild summit will be giving us a much higher limit on the amount of questions and well be getting more thorough answers.
  17. Thank-you.. This is it, while hoods are favoured by some people. I cant help but feel as though they tried to sweep the more important points under the rug. At the guild summit they wont be able to do this. It would be much more easier to get a straight answer, and since its live should put more pressure on for answers.
  18. I'm just speculating really, more & more hate posts are appearing. Or posts where 'improvement needed' whilst the - Bioware 'I luv u' posts are declining. And in way of not doing much, we dont seem to get much feedback other than the Q&A, which is only 10 questions a week. We can get some proper discussion on-going and there's no hiding from important topics such as 'y u no same sex flirting'?! (dont know why people call for that but apparently 5% do) And I alike am a Fan of SWTOR, I want the game to succeed.
  19. The first ever guild summit for SWTOR: Really couldn't come quicker, march. The guild summit is in place to discuss 'the state of the game'. Frankly the game seems to be going downhill and the dev's dont seem to be taking much action to counter this.. ALTHOUGH, im not saying that they're not. Just the guild summit may help the team to realise that quite important changes need to be made, as listed in the suggestion forums and general discussion forums a like. Well this is how I envision what It to be guild leaders telling them where they're going wrong.
  20. Improvement on last week's questions! Questions which have been on peoples mind's since beta. Would have appreciated the 2-3 questions to have had more detail other than 'thinking about it' but cant get too picky... Overall very happy with the answers and the questions.
  21. Tonight's Q&A proved to answer some longtime questions on peoples minds. There a couple of questions which could have had more input other than just 'were working on it' but hey overall im pleased. What are your thoughts?
  22. Actually I believe sorcerer's have awesome animations. (This is where sages are left out.) Im not sure of the AOE they do. But ill simply describe the visuals. The character lifts up into the air while casting and a storm of lightening surges hits the ground. Eyes glowing, lifted arms... 'Muhahahaha!' sort of effect. Lightening itself its a great visual.
  23. I personally think its a good idea. For the empire side, the option as to what minions is wide open since they demand domination. Its like the Death Knight class. I love it.
  24. The laptop's less than a few months old. I really cant get about 20 FPS with high setting's on.
