  1. Dev's have stated it's a tooltip typo, both classes get 10% per point
  2. You don't even have your best burst skill until level 36, please don't talk like you're an expert on the class.
  3. I've had many snipers pop evasion against me and guess how many dodges I've seen on my knife attacks.... 0
  4. Fyi popping evasion will do absolutely nothing to stop you from getting killed by an operative/scoundrel. Their primary attacks are tech attacks.
  5. Did you actually watch the video? He had multiple times the main project attack did around 6.5k and the upheaval proc did 2.5k
  6. There is a total of one, yes ONE cooldown difference. That is between the IA and Smuggler flashbang skill, and yes the difference is 30 seconds and should not be there. That does not make what I said irrelevant.
  7. While some of the cooldowns and animations are not equitable, the two sides have the exact same number of CC skills.
  8. You do realize the republic side has the exact same stuns as the empire right?
  9. Knife attacks are tech abilities. Stack cunning.
  10. Calling BS on this. The only skill that could hit for 4.5k out of stealth would be backstab and that would be with multiple buffs (red pvp buff, adrenal, relic). 3.5k on lacerate would be possible with those buffs, and 2.5k shiv is doable without those. So either he did get behind you and you just aren't attentive, or you're making stuff up. If you had that many buffs going and he didn't you'd have rolled him. Remember that Ops/Scoundrels are supposed to counter turret classes like merc/commando and sorc/sage.
  11. They are fairly common drops in flashpoints. That said your knife is just a stat stick, much more important to keep your rifle up to date.
  12. Except you'd be immune to the mezz after the knockdown. Try again
  13. For me personally, if they nerf concealment into the ground I'll just spec healing. People will then whine until that is nerfed of course <_<
  14. I think you're mistaking thundering blast for chain lightning. Thundering blast is a single target spell that auto crits targets affected by affliction. Chain lightning is an up to 5 target AOE.
  15. 2 of which are CC abilities that are useless if they used their knockdown opener on you.

    Scoundrel Damage

Everything he said is true, 50 shadows/assassins are a pain in the rear to fight as an operative. Well I should clarify, ones that know how to play are hard to fight.

    Scoundrel Damage

This, it's just a missing decimal on the character sheet
  18. Wrong, the armor penetration of acid blade is a self buff that lasts 15 seconds. It can be up 100% up the time with the DoT being up 66.66% of the time against your target simply by using acid blade before every backstab (9 second cooldown). It does cost energy though, I'd say the BH version is on par if not better. While it has to be ramped up the stacks are on an attack they'd be using anyways (tracer missile) and it has a higher % of penetration when it is fully ramped up.
  19. I've noticed this. What these people don't realize is that Operatives are pretty terrible until late 30's and really get cooking at 40 with acid blade. Most of them will give up before then. In the meantime I'll just continue to gank them.
  20. Only the DoT part of acid blade+hidden strike (flechette round+ shoot first) is internal damage, the attack itself is energy damage (kinetic for scoundrels). Pretty much every single DoT in the game is internal/elemental damage.
  21. He complained about the healing set, learn to read.
  22. For IA/Smuggler and BH/Trooper it was pretty obvious which is the healing one (had medic or something similar in the name). I do however agree that they should show the set bonuses
  23. Cunning raises all your damage and healing plus crit chance, stack it. My 50 operative has about 1600 cunning and 1400 endurance (with buffs). Secondary attributes you want for concealment are crit, power, accuracy, surge (not necessarily in that order). The pvp stat is expertise, you won't find it on gear until the lvl 40 pvp set (which doesn't have much). Don't worry about this one until you get to 50.
  24. Concealment operatives are terrible until they get lacerate and only meh until they get acid blade. Most of those flavor of the month rollers will get frustrated and quit before the class gets good.
