  1. You get the normal stuff. Dailies. Ilum is a terrific place for solo players. You get to roll up pve and pvp all in one with daily quests there. You've got hardmode flashpoints which are good fun. I know that's not solo, it's an MMORPG after all.
  2. Like: 1. Swtor 2. It's star wars! 3. mmm, troopers. Dislike: 1. Customer support 2. Customer support 3. Customer support
  3. Unless you have a lot of extra stuff in your rig, the 6770 doesn't require more than a 450W PSU. It's very light on the power demand.
  4. Jumping actually slows you down, and that's awesome. Work around it. Run sideways and strafe man. You can hit all you want and it's as fast a holdng down W.
  5. I would at least go for a HD6770 which is cheap! The 4xxx series is several years old. Equivalent card for Nvidia would be the 550ti? I'm bad with nvidia cards :s
  6. I am very familiar with world pvp, from lots of previous MMO's. Now, if world pvp to you is that every quest is overlapping where it more or less forces you to engage someone to complete quests, then you can go back to whatever game you came from that has that. All that does it encourage big zerg blobs where that one unfortunate guy without a group will get ganked to hell and back, leaving him frustrated and unable to do his quests. As it is now, if you spend five minutes figuring out where the other faction quests, you can easily find someone to smack around. It's likely they'll even come back for seconds hoping to score a kill. Enjoy.
  7. I have no idea what the OP is talking about. I've had several world PVP encounters, on tatooine and alderaan, just to name some. Though I do agree that most, not all, zones are poorly designed in this regard there are ample opportunity to go ruin someone's day. Just cruise the dune sea, you will likely find someone to shoot in the face, the faction quest hubs are not very far apart there.
  8. I wouldn't keep my hopes up. This issue have persisted for well over a month and a half. No patch thus far have made any discernable difference in warzone performance.
  9. You, me and thousands of other players got this issue. Bioware have stated in another thread that they are aware of the performance issue. However, no mentioning on when it's going to be fixed.
  10. The government would like to have a word with you.
  11. Sounds to me like you're doing it wrong. Resource management is key and it will punish you when you're being sloppy. Deal with it. The UI is ****, we all know that, but you can still manage fairly well regardless. Any healer is absolutely NOT weak in pve, will it be slower healing your companion, yes. On the other hand you will be able to solo a lot of heroics others couldn't. This is not weak. In a 1on1 situation you will last forever, as you aquire talents higher up in the tree (past level 22 man, c'mon endure some hardship). TL;DR Try again, try harder. Troll.
  12. Nice display of ignorance.
  13. dxdiag and so on, ticket customers support and just pray that they'll have a fix for you. I highly doubt it though. CS is being brought to its knees currently.
  14. It's not you, it's swtor. There are loads and loads of threads covering this issue already.
  15. You're wrong. People warping around when in close proximity is definately related to your FPS and is also a known issue since way back in the beta. Now, for a high-end system this is naturally not a problem, but for a low/mid-end system it just ruins everything. This all boils down to warzones being absolutely horrible on your fps due to a bad graphics engine. I have this very same problem, and my specs are also very bad. However, World pvp give me no problems with fps, warping players or skill delay, all which are common to a lot of people fighting in warzones. Oh yeah, I played on US east in beta, and now I play on EU. Ping differs by 70, no packet loss and no jitter on either. The problem persists. Not a connectivity issue, I'm 100% sure of that.
  16. If you do all missions with bonuses, including bonus series, there's no way there's too few missions. You must've missed a ton of content if you can't solo to 50 without doing heroics, pvp or instances.

  18. If you ever followed the dev tracker, you'd know that there will be one soon.
  19. Ok, Eve online is a bad example because CCP runs their server on a supercomputer. So yeah, worst example ever. Even in fleet ops, that will not be enough. Go figure.
  20. Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. I did that for so long and it never got old ;D
  21. Buy more ram. Buy an SSD. ???? Profit.
  22. I've played this game extensively now, beta and in EGA. But the forums... Oh man I am entertained! I was going to bed two hours ago, but the forums just keeps pulling me back! The best wasted hours as of late! Irrelevant thread, I know.

    Framerate in WZ's

I'd turn off effects entirely if it meant I'd get to play smooth warzones. I don't care if I can't see the lightning or explosions, just give me smooth gameplay! :/
