It's about even on our server... Sith might be a tad better.

I can do over 300k in a Warzone if I'm not getting focused. DPS Sage = DoT, tab, Dot, tab, DoT, Force in Balance, Stun, DoT, tab, DoT, tab... You get the idea.

The Consular does a lot of damage spread out among a lot of targets. What they lack in burst, they make up for in sustained damage, CC, and the occasional heal if they're a DPS sage. Bounty Hunters have excellent burst and terrible sustained damage. A good BH does just about as much damage as I do in Warzones, in total. Don't attempt to 1v1 them if they're a 41+ Mercanary. You'll get wrecked unless you can manage to CC/interrupt them right when they start their Heartseeker Missiles (ability that does ~6k damage in ~6 seconds).

It wouldn't be very efficient. It's certainly possible though. Because I PvP a lot, I find myself skipping lots of quests. I've skipped a few whole planets even. I did my class quest there, of course. There's only gear at levels 20, 40, and 50 (excluding items from the PvP weapons vendor). The gear at those levels is good, and I'd buy them if you have the commendation for it. There's certainly a large gap between these levels though. I'd suggest doing PvP and space dailies, then finish your class quest for the planet you're on, and if you're under-leveled, then PvP.

So, I'm looking through the Battlemaster PvP vendor, and I notice the gear that is intended to cater to a DPS sage has lots of alacrity on it. Ew. The Shadow gear seems pretty appealing, with it's crit, surge, and accuracy. However, because the tooltips don't show set bonuses, I'm hesitant to start buying that gear. Can anyone shed some light on our endgame gear? A link perhaps? Do impants/ear pieces/lightsabers/focuses have set bonuses on them? If so, what are they? I'm worried that the gear tailored to the Shadow has set bonuses the wouldn't apply to a Sage.

So many misconceptions going on in this thread, it's rather unbelievable. I'd take the time to correct some of you guys, but I really don't care enough.

Going up against a Merc is tough, especially if they're Arsenal specced. I expect their Heatseeker Missles to get nerfed in the future as it currently does 2k a tick. Then again, I'm not very familiar with the class.

AoEs don't always hit every player because, as the video stated, you can hide behind the LoS of the terminal. Sometimes, it's best for multiple people to cap a point (it goes faster... I think).

In my opinion, it wasn't nerfed hard enough. Rolling in dough right now. Then again, I still have R2 and R3 speeder passives to buy.

Actually, my Project casts like 0.3 seconds slower than the SI's insta-lightning ability, which is the opposite of Project. So clearly, the SI is OP and the JC is not.

Yep. Come at me, bros. It can be very strategical and very fun if you and your team know what you're doing. The knockbacks, pulls, and stuns all become moot with a good team that focuses on the ball and not random enemy players. Personally, I can't wait for some intense pre-made vs. pre-made games. It's a much better Warzone in comparison to Alderaan and Voidstar, where the only element of the game is really just paying attention. Pro-tip: pass.

The Republic is definitely the worse of the two factions. But I'm fine with that. I like being the underdog. It's a nice challenge and keeps the game fun. +15 Qyzen Fess

What do you guys think is better for a DPS sage is PvP? Was thinking crit, but that extra force armor seems very appealing.

Not sure what you mean exactly as I have yet to try a JK, but you can always reset your mastery trees at Coruscant or Carrick Station if you want. The first time's free.

They give you either: 3 commendations or 1 token and 1 commendation.

It's tough. With the poor UI, poor framerate, and poor ability responsiveness in Warzones, it makes healing tough. You are given two casted healing abilities, and get 2 more if you spec into healing. Be wary when you spam one healing ability, though, as every class (I think every class) has an insta-interrupt that prevents your heal (or any ability you were casting at that time) from use for 4 seconds.
