  1. You have to damage players to get kill medals. I was healing my team, and healing them well. Not well enough to carry the game, unfortunately.
  2. Yep. You don't know the class, and I'm the dumb one. To that, I say, good night and happy new year.
  3. http://nuevosmemes.tk/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/cb0fd_cd8d677a-9723-496d-9436-189f800cfcd3.jpg Force of Power is not a skill. Stop posting.
  4. See this post in which I responded to you making up a Sage skill that does 5k damage:
  5. Makes sense now. Every class can beat a Balance Sage and a Madness Sorc. Every class.
  6. What is this Force of Power ability you speak of? I'm curious. I must not have bought it because it's not among my ability page. A Disturbance crit does ~1.3k damage. So this Force of Power ability must have a damage potential of almost 5k. That's incredible. My highest damage dealer, Force in Balance, has only ever crit for 2.6k. Let's say this "Force of Power" nuke does exist, which it doesn't. A Merc can do 6k with one ability. That's LESS than this magical Force of Power 5k nuke, and the Merc can do this while being infinitely more tanky than the Sage. Granted, it's not an instant cast, but neither is this Force of Power ability. Or is it? I really have no idea, considering you made it up. The burst that the Sage has is dwarfed in comparison to other classes. A marauder hit my Sage for more than 4k the other day. This is a melee class which everyone agrees is underpowered, yet, it has more ranged burst than my ranged class.
  7. I'm a healer. I heal. You're saying that I need to DPS in order to play my class. No... I don't think so. I benefit the team more when I heal as a healer. I'm not going to sacrifice that for trying to get more medals. The game shouldn't be designed for a healer to sacrifice in order to gain personal rewards.
  8. Wow. Would ya look at that. A class has instant casts. Magical! But riddle me this good sir: doesn't the squishiest class deserve good mobility?
  9. Have you guys played every MMO? The hundreds and hundreds of MMOs with PvP? No? You all must be magical, because certainly you wouldn't make vast assumptions about all MMOs like that.
  10. Why don't we all just give classes not skills at all? That'll make the game balanced.
  11. A truck that gets 38 miles a gallon is OP by itself. Your analogy is flawed.
  12. So, essentially, the 5k heal medal is only possible when you aren't contributing to the game. Seems like that medal is working as intended. Awwwwww sheeeee. Yep, they give stuff. Barely anything, though. I always give MVP, even if the team I play with has no idea what they're doing.
  13. Except that's impossible without a full expertise set and the expertise power-up because of the -30% healing in Warzones (another pure-heal deterrent). And even if it wasn't, 4 isn't a lot when a Shadow/Assassin can get 10 easy.
  14. OP, Instead of telling the whole internet about it so they can try, just report it in game. Trust me. At least they'll dignify you with a generic response there. Here, you get nothing.
  15. I actually don't get a lot of MPV votes, which is surprising. I got a lot more when I was a DPS Sage. In that game, for example, I got 1 while a Commando that did 300k damage got 2. MPV votes usual go to damage-dealers and those with lots of objective points. And pre-mades give them to themselves. Not that it really matters though because an MVP is equal to 1 commendation and 50 valor.
  16. One of the squishiest classes does a lot of sustained damage, but has no burst. Nerf it!
  17. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/502/400ksensualhealing.jpg/ Halfway through, a player called me out for running around dancing naked (which I wasn't doing), to which I responded, "My naked dancing IS healing. Sensual healing". Just clarifying that I was in no way gloating at the end of the match. Anyway, the purpose of this thread is about healing, and its rewards - or the lack thereof. As you can see from the picture, we got destroyed. Medals (personal rewards) for healers are, at this time, limited. For example, lots of people cite that healers can get the "one killing blow" medal. This, however, requires a bit of luck and focus on damage-dealing rather than healing and inhibits incentive to be a pure healer. People also say the healers get the 10 and 25 kills medals by just healing. This is true, however, these medals are dependent on the performance of other players. In the case of this Voidstar game, for one reason or another, the overall damage-dealing performance of my team was poor and so I did not get either of the 10 or 25 kills medals. Additionally, to be a pure healer in solo PvE (which is what a lot of the endgame content is composed of), sucks. It's just long and drawn out and repetitive - it sucks. How does this relate to healing in PvP you ask? Well, I'm not gonna run to the respec guy everytime I want PvE or PvP... and I do want to heal in PvP because it's lots of fun. TLDR: Bioware needs to give more incentive to heal in Warzones.
  18. Herculieas

    I love PVP

Love PvP. Dislike a lot of the PvPers.
  19. I'd trade it for that Merc/Commando ability at the top of their tree that does 6k damage.
  20. You: my opinion is right because everyone who disagrees with me is wrong. Logical.
  21. The issue you are proposing is with the bikes, not the Sorc/Sage.
  22. Also, specced healer, it cleanses BOTH mental and physical DoTs. At least as a Sorc/Sage.
  23. Wrong. Sorcs/Sages have 2 DoTs. One insta-cast and another with an induction time. An additional one is granted in Madness/Balance at the top of the tree. By building this, you're sacrificing a lot because hybrid builds are the way to go. The AoE "nuke" you're referring to, Force In Balance, does 1k damage on average. On crit, it does 2k on average. It's limited to 3 targets. You can only get it in Madness/Balance. Assuming you're referring to Voidstar, sure, it takes a couple seconds to interrupt someone planting a bomb. That's why you have your team not being oblivious, ready to CC anyone who comes. And what hammer are you referring to? Sage/Sorc damage is mediocre. It's all sustained. Learn the class, then complain.
  24. You are implying that Sorcs/Sages are always around to prevent you from capturing an objective. Which is stupid.
