  1. I must admit that I havent crafted anything for quite some time. I bought the schematics for some of my crafters a while ago, but I'm pretty sure that max item level was 186. I checked with my Cybertech char and I'm able to Craft purple armoring item level 186. So if you know a way how to Craft item level 192, please tell! I would very much like to get hold of those schematics!
  2. /partly agreed Section X is still a part of my route while doing daileys. The 4-man heroic there is doable solo with a companion. Why not go all the way and let the orb in the middle be the only thing to end that instance...?
  3. Not 100% accurate.. In PvP u use PvP gear and face real opponents. In PvE u face toy mobs. The latter either solo with healer companion (depending on what class u are ofc.) or in a pre organized group where the healer is well protected by tank and dps. Squishyness factor isnt that big in PvE as in PvP...
  4. Again; some people like the crafting feature. To be able to create the stuff u are using instead of buying the work of someone else, or grind Ops to get stuff. The only sad thing about it is that the crafters in MMO's never will be able to make the really good stuff. Cybertech: No cool mounts, mod, armoring and earpiece max item level 186 (an ok item level that can manage with, but not the maxed out level (198 is it..?), no modification items with Expertise (I think crafters should atleast be able to craft the unranked stuff... The grenades are rather ok aswell, but as OP says: Takes too long time to Craft. Synthweaving: Some lame armors that people in general only use while the wait for the really nice stuff to either buy from packs or GTN. Armormech: Same deal as Synthweaving Biochem: One of the very few crewskills that can actually make stuff that is better than the vendor stuff. Implants max item level 186. Artifice: Weapon Crystals max lvl 50 (Item lvl 156 or 162..? Dont remember). Lightsaber hilts item level 186. Dye's with about 70 % of the dye's are for people with no sence of color match making. I.e Blue/green never even seen one using those colors. Cant craft the most popular dye's (Black/Black, White/White and Black/White) which is an outrage imo. Armstech: Weapons that virtually no one needs or would buy from GTN, Barrels item level 186 Most crewskills above can Craft augments and Stronghold vendor currency (Currency??? WTH??), not the actual stuff that u use in strongholds. BW put the crafting feature there to lure those that love crafting in MMO's to start playing the game, and to brag about that SWTOR has crafting feature in their game like many other MMO's. But they keep the really good looking stuff for them selfs in packs to milk people from Money, even if they already are supporting the game by beeing subs. They should shorten the crewskill mission time with about 50% and make the schematics for the nice stuff be available for subs.
  5. Somewhat narrowsighted... Some people like the crafting features in MMO's. Me included. I agree that the all the crewskills should decrease the time to perform a mission with atleast 50% (if not more)... U have my support in this.
  6. /Agree This has bothered me aswell. (My main is a merc). The commando atleast have a shoulder cannon. I want that on my merc aswell.. =/ The only acrobatic move the melee classes have among the force users is the big leap they can do. The rest of the moves could be performed with virtually any class in the game. Speaking of moves... I adressed this issue in another thread. I would like smother and more realistic movement on all characters. Say for example that when you dismount your mount in full speed, then I'd like the character to take a few steps in the direction I was going in instead of just stopping at the very spot u dismount. Same goes for when you sprint. I'd like the character take 1 or 2 extra steps in the direction he/she was running. Acceleration is another issue that should be adressed. It should take roughly 1 - 1½ second to get to full speed wether u are sprinting or using mount. While mounted, I'd like the mount to behave in a similar way. That it continues a small distance in the direction u were going in before it stops. Further more, turning 45 degrees or more shouldn't be possible without following a more realistic path along a somewhat wide radius.
  7. Well, I dont see why not... Why not take it one step further and when the Operation, Flashpoint or warzone starts, then a list with all characters could pop up where u could choose which character u want to use. (Characters with too low level for the event should then be greyed out as a non selectable choice.) Another reason why this would be acceptable, is that there will be a loading sequence when you start the flashpoint or whatever. If the loading sequence contain Another character than the one u are using at the time shouldn't present any problem when it comes to programming it.
  8. Great feedback Muljo! In conclussion: This system has been there since start of SWTOR and I read somewhere that with the new expanssion in October, there will be an introduction of some new companions. I fear though that they will end up on the Cartel Market along with Treek. Lets hope that this wont be the case. Let us have these new companions from the story, just as we got hold of the first ones. In any case, since there prolly will be some new companions, why not give the whole thought of the use of companions a facelift: * New features like the ones mentioned in previos posts * Be able to manage crewskills for ALL your companions in your legacy from your Stronghold with out the infernal loggin in and out on each character * Since all characters are one big family/Legacy, why not let all companions work with any of the crewskills the characters have? That would be another way to rectify any wrong choices that was made from the start, when people choose their first crewskills. Then you wouldn't need the Implant I suggested before. * Outfit slots for companions plz. * I know that this is a tad far fetched, but what if, again since all characters belong to 1 legacy, any character could use any companion within your legacy while doing the PvE stuff in the game? I would be grateful if I could get some debate going in this issue with feedback of any sort and more ideas.
  9. True dat!! (My main is a Merc btw..) Everytime there is a 3 vs 3 PvP WZ arena I say to myself everytime: "ok, this wz doesnt take too long so I might as well just go thrue with it...". Everyone knows who squishy merc class is, so they allways goes for that class first. It's only about 50% of the times my team gets a healer. And it's only about 25% of those times I get a healer in my team that actually heals me, even if everyone knows that merc's are the class that most people tries to kill as early as possible...
  10. Implants are supposed to be skill enhancers for both the player and companions. So why not be able to use crewskill implant for all companions, not just the ship droid. That would make the companions I never use for PvE more usefull. When I started with SWTOR a copple of years ago then I had no knowledge of the different crafting skills among my companions. I choosed a few crewskills early in the game for them that I thought was gonna be ok and fun to have. Later, along with every new companion I got, I started to understand that many of my crewskills I've choosen was completly wrong for them. I've started over with a few of my characters, but to change about 6 of my 10 characters companions would be first of all booooooring as hell!! Secondly it would be too time consuming. I've managed to get by somewhat anyway, but to be able to reprogram my passive companions with crewskill implants for them aswell as the ship droid, would a dream come true for me...
  11. I am rather much into crafting (using crewskills) along with the desire of having many characters (10 at lvl 60 atm) I've got 10k affection on about 90-95% of ALL my companions and I have all crewskills divided among my characters. I often find that, due to all the different materials needed, I lack space in my Legacy cargo hold. I would like to be buy either more tabs than 5, or if BW could make it possible to double or tripple the space in each tab. I have no problem if that costed lots of credits or cartel points (say for example 300 cartel points for each upgrade in each tab. first upgrade is double, second upgrade tripple). I would gladly buy the extra space needed. Many of the new schematics demands materials from previous grades which makes my a mess since I lack the space to build up a storage for every material.
  12. Content Balanced..???? Hahaha, did u play the Solo mode flashpoints in Shadow of Revan? I now and then Went to make some coffee while my companion and the support droid took care of the bosses. And the trash mobs dies before I get to my 3:rd abillity in my rotation. BW cleary shows that they have no issue with making things too easy. So why not go along with the suggestion that started this thread? Besides, it would be fun to dress up 1 more companion and let 2 of them tag along on my adventures. I bet that many who arent into crafting havent bothered to cap affection from companions they dont use. If BW accepted this idea, then that would blow some life into caring for a few more of your companions, other than just your tank/healer companion. If u your self is a healer, then you might wanna bring a tank and dps with you when you quests and solo flashpoints (which btw would be better than using the support droid...)
  13. That's what caught my eye... Well, tbh neither does swtor. Starfighter and the solo spacefights along a predetermened route are minigames on the side of swtor for those that wanna get up in space and fly around some... This minigames has no impact on the game that goes on on the ground. To have space content to feel related to the game as a whole then I suggest they open the archives to SWG and get their inspiration from there. Freelancer is another cool space game that BW could get inspiration from. U dont need to have tons of features as there are in pure space enviromental games, if that is what scares the s**t out of BW. I bet most of us who wants space content, wants something that looks and feels like the solution that SWG had, or perhaps Freelancer. To really feel like u are traveling a distance between planets would be awesome. U dont have that feeling now. Keep the features with fast travel, but give the RP population some more content to fuel the RP.
  14. The very purpose of Suggestion box forum is what I belive one of the sources to inspire BW to do certain changes to the game. Some ideas are rejected by the Community and some get tons of positive reponse (Very few ideas, but still..). If I were a part of BW as one of the guys who's job was to come up with new ideas for future content, then Suggestion box forum would be one of my sources to inspiration. This is a direct link to BW the way I see it. I would love if BW would be a part of some of the debates that goes on here, not only as a reader.
  15. well, I belive the title says it all. Support if you want. I think BW only reads posts in the suggestionbox that has the most viewers and supporters. So if that appeals to u, then simply sign it and move on...
  16. Imo BW should take the stuff from Social Points vendors and place it in already existing reputation vendors. After that; Scrap the social Points all together. There are roughly 3 kinds of players: 1. You are a PvE social player from the start. The very idea of grouping to play PvE content is what define an MMO for you. 2. You are a PvP player, and will never get any social Points because the system simply doesn't reward you for beeing social when you play WZ's. 3. You are a solo player to the bone. You like to do either some PvE/PvP content now and then, but only when you feel like it and you have decided to do it to get something in return, like social points or some better gear so that you are able to handle other yourself when you are doing your solo stuff. So the only group of players that will really benefit on this system is the first group; the PvE players. The other 2 groups will have to do stuff they really dont like doing if they want any of the items in the social point vendors. That is first of all very unfair, and secondly I question the business idea behind it: To force people to do something they dont enjoy in a enviroment that is supposed to be enjoyable...??

    Combat/dmg logg

But the logg I managed to setup so far obviously worked in that degree so that dmg dealt in a recent mob fight was recorded, plus the last hit from the other player on me. How do u explain that if swtor doesn't support combat logging..? (The damage is presented with orange colored text in the chat box.)

    Combat/dmg logg

I have for tried a few times to get the settings right for a new tab in the chat box that should only contain the dmg dealed and recieved during pvp fights, but I never got it to work quite proper. I was killed just recently by another player, and I was interrested to know the damage we dealt on eachother. The logg only contained his last hit on me and the rest of the logg only contained data from a previous fight with a mob. It was ages since I played WoW, but I'd like to recall that u could set up a tab that made a record of the dmg dealt and recieved. I'd like some help setting up a similar tab in swtor (if possible).
  19. True dat!! I would like Treek as my companion, but it aint worth the 2000+ cartel points to get him... 500 maybe, but the current amount is waaay to expensive!
  20. I tried to find a post where this issue has been brought up in the past. I know I've seen a few posts about that but I couldn't find any of them via the forum search function... The nightmare of an altoholic who are into crewskills. Most people already know what I'm getting at: The infernal logg in and logg out just to manage each characters crewskills.... ZzzZzzZzzzZzzZzzzZzz We have a stronghold today where it would be natural to have a terminal of a sort that enabled us to manage all characters crewskills within the legacy without the logg-in/out each time. Another suggestion: (I know that this will get downrated by many people in this Community, but I need to get it out of my system!) Lets say that I want to craft a specific item, and I have several chars who's companions crewskills could support my effort to craft this thing. Then I would like to just order how many of that item I want and all my alts companions would go to work automatically and start the gathering crewskills that was needed to get the missing mats for that amount of items. Yes, I know I'm a tad lazy, but after loggin in and out hundreds of times just to manage crewskills, then I think I deserve to be a Little bit lazy.
  21. It would be awesome if players could switch between live chat channels via the Tabs in the chat box so we didnt have to use an outside program like Teamspeak to talk to eachother.. To comment on the whole: Great ideas actually! /Support
  22. Why not introduce a somewhat bigger Jawa race, a giant among his own people and a midget among the general population..
  23. I cant see how that would present a problem? If u have an option in Preferences whether u want the cutscenes or not, then that would sort out the problem? If u have chosen to play your storyline without cutscenes, then only the mission giving and reward giving feature/window would remain. U click the mission giver and then u simply get the mission in your mission logg, and then when u are done then the popup window appear instead of a cutscene. The companion affection system in Shadow of Revan conversations is "offline" aswell. If it were "online", then I would gain something from every conversation which means that I would gladly atleast Spacebar my way thrue every cutscene to every conversation option. But as things are today with no gain at all, then it's just an timeconsuming annoyment to watch the same scenes over and over again.
