  1. Increase the Healing power coefficient to that of a Sage's/Inquistor's shield and increasing the standard health from 0.13 to 0.25. Alternatively replace Standard Health with Current Maximum Health and keep the percentage at 13%. Making these adjustments to Defence Screen would be a solid step in addressing the issue with this ability. Adding an extra feature to Fighting Spirit, on critical, to heal the Gunslinger for 1%/2% maximum heatlh, could be something they look at. And change Cool Under Pressure to 10% from 3%. Adjust Slick Shooter to do 1%/2% maximum health heal per critical of Speed Shot is another idea. Change Dodge to prevent all incoming damage for it's duration plus 50% of all damage recieved duration it's up time is reflected back at the attacker(s). A Gunslinger's damage is right where it needs to be at the moment, changing our defensive abilities to be on par with with our melee cousin the Sentinel would be a solid enhancement.
  2. As most who claim to do 1500-1800 on a target dummy, post there parse, turns out they are beating on the L10 dummy not the Ops one. There is huge difference between them, even between the L50 and Ops one.
  3. Tried all the different specs, my favorites are either SS/Sab hybrid or Pure SS. Find the one that suits your playstyle and go with it.
  4. The SS/Sab variant http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700bsrbdkRRZrI0bRoZb.1 is another widely used spec. If you have energy issues with either the spec Lightning posted or the one above, your doing something wrong. Though you need to be careful on your timing during Ops encounters with spec Lightning's posted. I did that rotation once to soon and Gharj came over and smashed me into the ground before the tank could react. Power Adrenal + Power on use relic + Inspiration = Boss chasing my butt if I trigger all that during my 1st rotation run. Heck on I'm not allowed to be in the same group as a Sentenil for Inspiration. Nothing like getting hit with 17k Cannonade on Anni Droid too. Plus the OT screaming on TS save Juno! Though being chased by Foreman Crusher is always fun. I think the only fight so far my raid leader don't mind I generate a lot of threat is Bonethrasher.

  6. A Gunslinger only has a DPS advantage if their accuracy is greater than 110% on specials over the Sniper and only then this a slight advantage. The difference in barrels boils down to roughly 2.3 bonus damage, nothing in the grand scheme of things. Unless your hardcore min/max junkie. Complaining about the barrel the off hand weapons, look at the actually damage on each weapon. You will note the Sniper rifle has a higher bottom and top damage and they are closer to together than the Gunslinger's blasters. There are a lot of different weapon factors between the Gunslinger and Sniper but in the end the only advantage the Gunslinger has only happens when the Gunslinger's accuracy exceeds 110% on specials.
  7. The 2/16/23 spec is more slanted towards PvE than PvP. A pure DF would be good for either or. The build does work in PvP, you just need to be mindful of energy use. Plus watch out for Mercs/Operatives either one can cleanse your DOTS.
  8. I do the same, but generally after the Speed Shot, since Trick Shoot still works outside of cover, hehe. My rotation for SS is geared for optimal PvE Ops runs as opposed to PvP.
  9. Smugglers Luck, Cover, Sab, Charged Burst, Trick Shot, Aimed Shot, Speed Shot, Trick Shot. This is my rotation and it allows me use two Trick Shots activations.
  10. Trick Shot has a time limit on it once it activates, six seconds as I recall. Perhaps this is what you speak? I have not seen this bug yet.

  12. Cunning is affected by two things power is not, the 9% talent and 5% Sage buff boost. After you factor in both of those into Cunning the difference between the two stats is quite small.
  13. Your solid, if your hitting for that amount. As for the others claiming 8k hits without using adrenals/relics either they found the only person in the warzone with zero expertise or they are talking out the butts.

  15. Using natural cover is a huge boost to avoidance as well, specially with ranged white damage.
  16. Power Relic or Warzone Adrenal -> Illegal Mods -> Speed Shot -> Rapid Fire -> Speed Shot -> Speed Shot -> Aimed Shot. Pull that off against another player and you'll have new friends coming over to do a meet and greet with you every time. Cause it is one nasty rotation.
  17. That is enough for three aimed shots during the duration of the buff from the relic. This is too small a sample, unless you ran the test many times. A 75-77% critical multiplier is easily obtained with a 300 surge rating and your MDPS companion's affection max out. Aimed shot greatly benefits from bonus damage, get the surge rating up and then begin to stack power. You will be begin to notice a huge jump in critical damage from Aimed Shot, Quickdraw as well. Getting your surge up is only one piece of the puzzle you need the other pieces to final see the completed picture.
  18. The base defense of a Sage and Inquisitor is 10%, the accuracy helps. And the extra accuracy helps with your OH wpn as well.
  19. BM gear is kinda, blah. If you have extra comms, you can buy Enforcer or Field Medic and pull the mods. As I recall the set bonus on BM is on the shell. A 270-300 surge rating would put you roughly at 75%. You crit looks good, after getting surge up a tad more, go for power. Aimed Shot, Quickshot & Sab charge benefit from bonus damage. Remember your OH wpn does damage too. To bad your not on my server I have all the epic augment recipes being a Armstech. And if you have not done so, max out affection for all your companions. How is your expertise? I have not done much PvP of late, but even with my 500 ish expertise (old school champion set) I've crit some for 4k to 5k using rakata level wpns. Its just one of those things, one day it will just happen.
  20. One of the issues with Burst Volley if the Alacrity buff dropped during a channeled attack, like Speed Shot, you would not get the last tick of damage. This was one of the reasons most disliked it, personally burst volley is like crack you just got to have it. According to today's patch notes, it seems the above has been dealt along with the cover one.
  21. What is your Accuracy at? You surge rating is on the low side, try for between 70-75%. Which augments did you use?
  22. Defence Screen needs to absorb at least twice or triple its current amount. Compared to the Sage's shield, which has a much shorter CD and absorbs more, it fails as a defensive ability. Dodge needs to dodge everything. Any ability that requires you to be in cover should automatically put you in cover. Dot crits heal us would be nice.

  24. Two knock backs?? Only if one is talented for the 2nd off Aimed Shot. Which by the way does not work if the target has near 50% resolve. The second one, Pulse Detonator does immobilize them for five seconds provided you do not damage them after two seconds. The four second stun requires you to be in melee range. Honestly I swear some poeple just look but not read abilities actually do.
