  1. I already lost all hope for this game. Unfortunately i don't have time to invest into a new mmo. I couldn't say one specific thing that annoys me, there's just to many. I was never a fan a pve, i play these games for pvp, and thats just not what this game is about. Its there, but its not what one would consider satisfying. Same wz's time and time again. Groups of half healers and half smashers doesn't help that feeling. To much class biased when it comes to groups for rated. I thought we were balanced?

    New warzone bug.

well now, thats pretty bogus. I better not see this exploited, but of course it will be now.
  3. Not to shabby. Cant say i've seen that kinda damage mixed with that much protection. Musta had a decent group. But nice to know what we're capable of.
  4. honestly, all those are non crit hits except for the 6ks. Also, those 6k hits are just the low end of the spectrum. If you think thats a hard hit, i wonder what your reaction will be when you get hit with 8k-9k crits in 55 pvp. As a power dps shadow, melee bonus damage over 800, 3k-4k are just regular, expect it, get used to it. WIth surge around 75% or so, maybe a relic power proc or 2, and that damage goes way up.
  5. A double power proc breach can hit 8k occasionally, 5-6k projects regular with potency plus upheaval. Yeah, we don't need your back. 4-5k FiB attack for 30m. Maybe an execute, or a shadow strike from an angle. A good decent shadow spec can hurt you from anywhere really.

    Top of the tables

As the guy usually on top in pug matches, its nice to get the vote, but i dont care about it. I dont play for votes, i play to win. As a taunting dps shadow, medals just come to me, so there is no need to go out of my way for them. As long as I fight hard where it needs it, and keep that extra eye out for calls and on the node, Its easy to get the dmge medals, and 700k-800k isn't out of the realm of possibility playing the objectives.

    Op healz

Your right about one thing, people don't know how to focus. On the other hand, there is no doubt that there is something op with healers survival capabilities in 2.0. A game with 2 healers can be exiting and competitive, but a game with 3 or more goes from fun to boring really fast. Once you have to deal with multiple cross healing, people die to slowly to make any difference in the battle and whoever got the nodes first wins. Until they can limit a wz to 2 healers or so, I believe that we would all be better off if there was no healing of others at all. Just stick with your stims.
  8. Not sure how bolster works above lvl 65 gear, but all i know is, it is sure a pain in the butt trying to kill a team of 40k hp and what seem like immortal healers that kite and run and never seem to die.
  9. I go with the infill with FiB. I've grown accustomed to using FiB, and now it hits more people:) Excellent node stopper. The only thing i've noticed that hurts my spec as apposed to a full infil CS spec is not having breach on full proc as quick. But I have FiB that hits more people for a little less. So the damage is still there. You have to be a little more picky in the balance tree since there are more useless tools on the lower end going up to FiB. Pretty much the biggest difference i see is a difference of 2k on a full breach crit from a FiB crit EVERY NOW AND THEN. Its a whole separate attack and can be used more often and more effectively than breach. The only ones that survive the initial wave of potency buffed force attacks are tanks and the immortal healers out there today.
  10. I've been stacking pure power, and I must say, I'm on a power trip. I'm still using most my min/maxed EWH still since the partisan isn't adding any bonus dmge and with a couple conqueror pieces. As the bolster is right now, I've noticed it gives you a decent main stat bonus, but doesn't touch power. So, I've been letting the bolster handle my mainstat while i've been stacking my power. This may change when I start getting more conqueror gear, but so far its overkill all the way. Half my gear is old with old augments, and my melee bonus damage is climbing up to 840 in the old stuff. My crit rating is low, but I still see alot of 6k-7k breach/ projects, 5@4.5k FiB, 9k SS, and am up there in damage with most the jedi knights. I'm not saying that all power is the best way to go. I'm just saying i'm having a blast with it.
  11. I can see how this gets annoying. It doesn't stay there when i set it in their huttball endzone. The tooltip says it stays there for 2 minutes. My guess is the cooldown is there so you dont have an endless escape teleport. You know, set your phase walk out of range, attack, teleport back, set it again, then attack again. I could see how it may get abused.
  12. I totally agree. I for one am broke as dirt. I try to remain competitive, but these new augment kits are going for around 100k a piece, and purple augments to go with em are 150k or so. I can only afford the blue ones. These things are hard to acquire on a pvp'rs salary. Not to mention we need to kit out at least 2-3 sets of equipment just to be allowed to play in all venues of the game. I pvp, and am known to pvp. But pve'rs wont take me on their hard mode runs cause i'm in pvp gear. That pretty much limits us to the stupid as crap dailies that bore the hell out of me enough to have unsubbed twice already.
  13. yeah, who knows now. It was capped per level till you hit 50 before. Maybe now you can't go beyond your lvl till 55?
  14. i just hit 55 yesterday. Been wearing my min/maxed EWH gear. I'm so pissed they removed the expertise on it, but thats a different story. Anyway, with the bolster, going in with no expertise, i get 1800 some, bout 54% dmg boost. My main dmge stats still go up, which is alot of power and willpower. I'd go around inspecting people, and see this guy with half partisan or so, but he's down to 1600 some expertise. At the moment, there is absolutely no reason to even bother with pvp gear. The damage boost caps at 60%, i get 54% with none. Now i'd hate to see what its like with the top end raid gear getting 1819 expertise with their already super high bonus dmge.
  15. i myself use `123 all the way backspace, f1-f12. I'm used to that from my swg days. I also use rtyuiop[]\ for random things and defensive buffs. My main abilities are close to my usual hand placement, and emergency cooldowns are a little farther out (RESILIENCE, CLOAK are f11, and f12), and buffs are in a section that i can just slide my hand down. It pretty much comes down to, will i need to keep strafing while using this move. If i do, the move is anywhere from `-8 or f1-f6 or so, after that its either stationary, or non placement critical. Also, i use v-n and shift x to shift m for adding target icons. That's my crappy keyboard set up. Works great for me, but i'm used to it, my coordination seems to know what buttons to push before i do. If or when i get a better mouse, i'll have no need for keyboard strafing, so that will free up my fingers for better combo's
  16. the only accuracy i have is in the implants. I do miss a fair amount of spinning strikes, which annoys me. At least with shadow strike, the proc doesn't go away if you miss or parry, so you can just hit it again. Force attacks are not affected since you'll be over 100% anyway.
  17. I go with my own variation of the 0/27/14 spec. As of right now, there is no class in particular i fear facing in a 1v1 or even 1v2's if planned right. I have tried many other specs, and tinkered with my own experiments, and all in stalker gear. I have found that the tank/utility hybrid spec is superior when it comes to survivability and node gaurding. Its just that the damage output slows down and tends to take to long to finish a good 1v1 before someone else gets involved. So it just depends on how you want your 1v1's. Quick and over with, or slow and intense
  18. if you don't wield the dble bladed saber, you lose pretty much all your damage. You cant use your stances, with no stance, you lose breach and all that a stance provides. Your pretty much stuck with project, FiB, and some melee strikes. On a side note, shadow is a pretty powerful force user if set up right. You could kill everything from a 10m range and not use melee. Just not as force efficient as a proper rotation.
  19. For PvP I use a 0-28-13 spec, and my rotation is situational, but usually start something like this: From stealth cap stopping at max range force potency FiB- 3.5k-4k crits Breach- 3.8k-5k crits project- 3.5k- 6k crits with upheaval low slash backstab dble strike dble strike From stealth 1v1 force potency spinning kick breach project lowslash backstab dble strike stun dble strike project breach spinning strike In Pvp the situation is always changing and rotations need to be adjusted accordingly In Pve its pretty basic, just never use project without using dble strike or CS x2 first. Only use backstab when proc'd
  20. wow, i'm not exactly sure what your play style is but this looks like the rough draft of a rough draft of an experiment gone wrong. I'm not even sure i can correct this debacle, but i'll give it a try. I play a shadow, but the skills should line up in the tree First Question, are you using surging charge, cuz that just seems like a waste if your not putting the extra 2 points in induction and beyond. Insulation is worthless if you dont, better off with more points in duplicity and go with a backstab spec Second Question, what are you doin with points in crackling charge if you are using surging charge? That only works in lightning charge stance and a complete waste. those 2 points can go into exploitive strikes. You also have absolutely no need for parasitism, the only dot you have to maybe make use of it is crushing darkness, witch is worthless in pvp if your not spec'd for the insta cast proc. Put those points in chain shock. Third question, are you a dps with a shield generator? If not, are you using hollow for a self heal? Otherwise might not be worth it in my opinion. Might be better off putting those 2 points in the blood of sith force regen. Thats just a few pointers that would make that spec a lil more feasable in my opinion, but can still use many adjustments. From the spec you gave, I cant tell if your going for dps, tank or some gimped out hybrid. If your trying for more survivability in a dps stance, the shield might not be the way to go, find a good spec with entropic field in deception.
  21. the only thing you lose, which you don't really lose, is money. You have a 350k cap as a f2p. Anything over that just gets set aside till you become a subscriber again. So if you have 50mil, but go to f2p, you'll be down to 350k. As for artifact equipment unlock. If already have all the gear you need, you can still use it. Any purples acquired as f2p will not be wearable without that unlock though. You only get 5 wz's a week. Not sure about pve, but i think its 3 loot rolls a week. This is just what I know from having to go f2p for a month or 2 due to financial issues, but went back to subscriber when they passed. If you don't plan on coming back for a very long time though, then who knows, just log in once every few months or so just to be safe. I know swg kept my account for well over a year when i took an extended leave from that game.
  22. A very situational ability. When i was first leveling my shadow, the game got super hard around lvl 40 as infil. I found i needed to mez and lift alot more targets to keep from being mobbed, just to try to live a lil longer. In pvp, I never use it unless i have the instal lift spec. With an insta lift spec, you become the ultimate ninja capper. Mez, cap, he breaks it, well oh, i'll just lift him here, run out of LOS, and bam, mine
  23. as someone who just leveled a new toon from 10-50 in a wz. I don't see any problems with it now. I went through the effort of getting custom gear early. I went through the effort of RE'n and crafting up to date purples to go in my gear. Point is, I put in the effort. If you don't want to try to play at the top of your game. Then don't, but don't whine about being stomped by the guy that brings his A game. You all have access to the exact same equipment i have, so its no ones fault but your own if you decide to roll in greens. Yeah, gear is not cheap, but money is almost as easy to make as it is to spend in this game.
  24. nice vid, but i'm not sure its the one your title suggests. The link brings up a vid about vanguards.
  25. This is never really acceptable, unless you make it pay off. Only recommended for stealth, and must be very good at 1v1, or 1v2 even. I say its not recommended since it does leave you short a man somewhere. Although, if your a well known killer such as I, you tend to draw an over commitment to defend the node you just assaulted. Anyone who fights with me, knows I go straight for their off node and 99% of the time, I get it. Doesn't always help though. Sometimes back up never shows, and it was just a lost cause either way. There are few situational reasons to abandon a well defended node to attack a needless one. However if the node is so contested your team is dying to fast to keep defending, then a quick strong stealth attack to other node may pay off, or alleviate some of the pressure. Pretty much the only exception to not working with the team is being stealth, and working for the team. Most people don't notice that most wins in pub matches are from the stealth guy you didn't see wreaking havoc on an enemies game plan
