  1. Not saying that this is the case with BW. Honestly I just think they have some very clueless Developers when it comes to MMOs. BW makes great RPGs but they are kinda behind the curve when it comes to MMOs. That being said I'm sure some of you remember a little game made by NCSoft where the Developers clearly gave one side a clear and concise advantage: AION. Hopefully this is not what has happened here. I've also noticed that at least on my server the Turrets for Alderaan are all neutral now at the start of the match.
  2. About that... in one of the original trilogies Luke asked Leia about her mother (her blood mother not the adoptive one), and Leia responded that she couldn't remember much, a gentle touch, soft words, and a deep sadness. How the hell did Leia supposedly get to experience any of these feelings from her mother if she died in childbirth? Plot-hole! Don't even try to say that Leia got all that from being held by Padme for a whole 3 seconds.
  3. I would just like to be able to sell my Hot Rod Speeders. =/
  4. I LOL'ed so hard when I read this... would be great if they rolled back the Valor gained from people that blatantly did this, but how could you prove it.
  5. Currently level 42 / Valor level 25. I've done WarZones quite a bit and find them over all to be a blast! Those who say that gear is not a factor must've played less than I. The first time you meet a opposing level 50 with high Valor Level gear you will realize it is very gear basied. Geared 50's destroy all except other geared 50's. The only things I would like to see changed in WarZones is the creation of Valor Based level brackets post Character Level 50, and the resetting of rewards to be based more on individual contribution than team win.
  6. Agree completely. All the PvP players should be forced to read this. No solo heroes in this games PvP, and I'm loving it! Teamwork is great!
  7. Sush! it's a secret! Not many people have used them, but I have and it's a blast seeing 5 people drop and have people wonder *** was that!
  8. Combine that with the fact that we can't sell the bikes on the GTN really leave me wondering. I don't see why "mounts" should be BOP when crafted. I also have to agree that it would be nice to see more "customization" on our custom made bikes. Heck at least give the custom bikes a seat!
  9. But why didn't they get the bonus quest update to kill 10 Snowtroopers when the droid was destroyed?
  10. I think its important for people to remember that BioWare is not an MMO company. This is their First MMO, and to top it off they've basically made this entire game with the belief that we all just wanted a super RPG. So give them some time to understand what MMO players actually want versus the Standard RPG player and I'm sure they will address this in future patches.
  11. Currently I'm a level 33 Bounty Hunter. Skills are Slicing, Salvaging, and CyberTech. While I'm not making hands over fist selling my items on the GTN I am doing well. It's a matter of finding what people need that the game does not provide. Armor drops in this game are fairly common and with everyone and their brother rolling a GlowStick class I don't imagine that much of a need for Light to Heavy Force Using Armor until the upper level brackets. I mean on Space Slug every single mob seems to be dropping armor for those guys. Alll my BH armor is from purchasing Modable items otherwise I would still be running around in my Black Talon suit. Also we have a Trade Channel. I've found that it helps to actually post in Trade What you have just placed on the GTN and at what price. Since the GTN really doesn't have a quality search function this helps customers see what is available w/o having to deal with the current GTN search system. Also if people see that there is something posted on the GTN they want they are more likely to actually deal with it and buy. Lastly you might actually make more coin selling the Mats versus the actual item. The main reason why I am able to sell my gear is because I only produce items that I've farmed the mats for. If I had to list my gear for the base price of buying mats off the GTN then it would not be worth it for a player to buy my gear. Remember while leveling it's rare for a player to keep a unmodable piece of gear for more than 10 levels. Heck even with the modable gear many new players just don't get how it works and don't understand the value: basically they don't realize that it's a piece that can keep for over 20 levels just by moding it. Anyways hope this helps you! Message provided by Daga Corp. For all your Technological Needs: Earpieces, Mods, Enhancements, and GRENADES.

    Space Combat

Obviously you don't understand Tactics. Do you do nothing but Circle Strafe in PvP on the ground? If so then please duel me I could use the ego boost. Space Combat is much more than circle strafing. I'm guessing you never use a wing man? I mean in real life do you see planes simply flying in circles hoping to get a "lock"? Really since you have no positive suggestions or anything constructive to say just go away. On Topic. I have finally gotten to play the Space Combat. It's pretty much what I expected. Wonderful Graphics, and fun game play for an I-Phone / Android or I-Pad application. As far as belonging in this game... honestly I wish they would've just never developed this Fail-Rail and simply used the money to address the few but existent issues in game. I would've preferred fewer glitches, another War Zone or Two, and / or another End Game raid to this sad Rail game. That being said for those of you that like it I hope they don't remove it. After all two wrongs don't make a right. I just hope before they add anything to it they address the issues with the ground game and then actually make some form of Space Combat that fans of that game play will actually enjoy! The fact that they stated they have "plans" is encouraging, but the lack of detail combined with an unwillingness to respond until recently, added to the apparent hate for Space Combat that Stephen Reid seems to harbor still has me worried. For now I'm only level 22 and thoroughly enjoying the ground game. I'm willing to wait, but BioWare needs to start releasing some solid details about what they plan.

    Space Combat

I'll have to admit I've not played Star Fox in a long while... I think that was what? Super Nintendo back in the mid 90's when MMOs were starting to crawl out of the MUD world? (FYI if you don't know what MUDs are then that might explain why you might think this Rail is fun). Anyway if memory serves me right didn't Star Fox allow for multi-player? Didn't you have more movement options? Lastly I don't remember Star Fox forcing me to run through the same flight path repeatedly until a timer ran out once I was done with the mission. Point being is that Space Combat in SW:ToR has more in common with the Browser game CloneWar that is on the Cartoon Network site than it does with Star Fox.
  14. Playing DCUO with a toon that flies seeing living proof that MMO players can understand and play in a 3-D environment, with out rails.

    Space Combat

Honestly I don't mind them having Rails for those that really don't care for Space Combat. Though having a Single Player game in an MMO, even if it is only a "mini-game" (note BW never refers to it as such, they simply call it "epic"), is just silly. The best that I've seen said about the Rail is that it's "Ok" to do when you have nothing else to do. It doesn't bring in extra subs because it's too weak. It doesn't really excite the "ground pounders" so then honestly what is the point of expanding it. I'ld rather see the money put into improving / adding to the ground game, or see BW actually make something that will bring in additional subs from those that like Space Combat. RAIDs are for PvErs, War Zones are for PvPrs, Space Combat should've been designed with actual fans of Space Combat in mind. Before some one screams it: no where did I say Flight Sim. Again most people that are fans of Space Combat simply want a 3-D full control experience like Free Lancer, BF2, or Halo: Reach limited to an instance like a War Zone. Very few if any would expect or even want EvE.
  16. Welcome to the Game! I'm stuck waiting for my invite as well. Heck half of Twisted Faith is waiting. Hope to run into you on Space Slug.

    Space Combat

Space Combat is currently on Rails. As such there is no real way to make it PvP? What have ships from opposing factions fly at each other each on separate rails? meh. I'm guessing Space Combat PvP is a long ways off.
  18. Not sure if I like the total randomness of how I would get gear. Being a casual player myself I still like to know that if I put in "X" amount of effort I will for sure receive "Y" amount of reward. While it might be great for me to get a piece of Battlemaster gear with pure luck after only doing War Zones for a day or two it is going to be very annoying indeed to see that after 4 months of War Zones I only have one or two pieces of Battlemaster gear to show for my efforts. BTW with this randomness factor does BW at least ensure that we get gear we can actually use for our class? I mean it would really suck to finally get a piece of Battlemaster gear only to find that its for a different class.
  19. I would recommend rolling Empire. We have cupcakes. Plus unlike the Jedi; Sith can have a girlfriend. Lastly our "Troopers" Back Packs gotz Jets!
