  1. Hakuna Rakata is the most dynamic REPUBLIC guild anyone can join. We PvP hardcore; 4man premades, rWZs, dueling skrims, Outlaws Den fun. We also PvE hardcore; two teams cleared HM TFB, on NiM EC, clear NiM Pilgram every week like nobodies business. Huge member rooster. Full dental coverage. PM if interested.
  2. The level 51-55 items dropping from Makeb will be vendor fodder. What is called Dread Guard/lvl 63/27s will be second best in slot IF Bioware continues the trend we have seen thus far when it comes to endgame PvE gear. Bioware has said that endgame PvE gear progression post-RotHC will be different (take that as you will). My guess is: an introduction to new set bonuses. Brought to you by Captain Obvious. No need to thank me noobos.
  3. 1.) New PvE Content (yup i said it) -New Planet, New Operation + Flashpoint Combo (ala 1.2) 2.) Live Mounts -Tauntaun, mini boga, mini rancor 3.) Spray Cans for Armor Pieces - I want my Republic Containment Officer Armor to be Black/Silver
  4. No, I am gonna preorder it right now actually. I am expecting new PvE content besides the new planet content. The next operation was rumored to revolve around the hutt cartel BEFORE Bioware announced The Rise of the Hutt Cartel. Figures crossed that the new ops launches with the new expansion
  5. the installation fee should be lower for subs; at least half of wat it is now is reasonable.
  6. 5:30pm imp fleet. start @ the guild bank please. Naked except for black or gray boots. Dance using the new bop emote every 60meters (if you dont have it, ill buy it for u). do not look or talk to my toon, pretty obvious who she'll be. Cant wait
  7. The following five suggestions are simple to implement compared to other great, yet more complicated suggestions. Even though there are so many interesting suggestions out there, what really matters is how realistic/easy it is to implement. Even if just one suggestion would become reality, it would have a profound, positive effect to the game. 1.) Fix the stealth, free battle rez bug. Obviously, this bug makes PvE content easier. You bet your tauntaun pet that this bug is exploited to its absolute fullest in top endgame operation groups. Just ask yourselves: how much easier is HM TFB if you have two free battle rezs on top of the actual battle rez. The more horrendous reality is that this exploit is only available to stealth classes. If you are part of an operation group with no stealthers, you have a huge disadvantage. 2.) Increase the mats required for top tier PvE item modifications (27 mods/armorings/enhancements...). Firstly, lets be honest with ourselves: Synthetic Energy Matrices are not used up much. That is why their are so cheap, market value wise. Going back to the suggestion, gaining top PvE gear/item mods is too damn easy. Within a month of 1.4 (that's four HM TFB clears max possibility on a single toon), dedicated PvE characters are more than half Best in Slot (27 item mods) because of how easy it is to obtain upgrades. Well the solution is pretty obvious, add Synthetic Energy Matrices to all future item mod schematics. For example, have 28 enhancements and mods require ONE Matrix. Have 28 armorings, barrels, and hilts require twice as many matrices as the 27 versions. This would not be a huge change, yet its a step in the proper direction. 3.) Add rare crafting schematics for synthweavers and armormechs. Lets be real here, being a synthweaver and armormech is not as lucrative as other crafting professions (not by a long shot actually). Add some rare crafting schematics in the mix for synthweavers and armormechs. This is a very open-ended suggestion, this can be accomplished in many ways. Possibly add some adaptive armor piece schematics to the game. 4.) Add novelty items as rewards to ranked PvP. Ranked PvP is not as lively as we would like. More incentives would totally help bring more PvPers into the ranked warzone scene. Add new awesome PvP mounts again. Maybe even some crazy, unique weapons. Details are really up in the air, Bioware can figure it out. 5.) NiM EV/NiM KP Challenge Mode Honestly, NiM EV and KP are obsolete to many PvE players. These operations may not be as interesting as the newer two, but they still have a wondrous feel that many enjoy. How about making an official mode where a group, not an OPERATION group, clears through NiM EV and NiM KP for a title + novelty items. A group, as in a FOUR-MAN. Again, the details are up to Bioware. The basic jest is quite simple though.
  8. The op quotes the joker from the dark knight, when the joker broadcasts a message after escaping GPD. When will u be running naked?
  9. daily comms are worth it in their own way because of all the unique items only purchasable thru daily comms. blackhole comms are easy enough to get in so many other ways. whoever wants BH comms per daily quest is just lazy. Highly doubt bioware would ever make daily comms a dead currency.
  10. Which of the two listed relics is more impactful for a fresh 50? Also, why the elemental damage proc relic over the kinetic and the energy versions?
  11. Which two relics are the best for Anni Marauders? If its situational, please explain.
  12. Thanks for the constructive reply. Rank-warzones when compared to normal warzones, are dead. Queue times are too long compared to regular warzones. Usually, when some PvP teams want to play ranked-warzones, they schedule with other teams. A team leader contacts another team leader, and they queue at the same time. Not to trade wins, but to have a competitive game. A ranked warzone tournament would work similar to a system developed already by the community. The difference being, someone would keep track of who wins. This brings up a good point. A best of 3 format would be preferred so a more diverse match would be played. Unfortunately, the game recognizes a win in Huttball to be the same as a win in Voidstar period. So we would have to still operate in the bounds of the game.
  13. The Bastion is one the top servers when it comes to PvP competition. Yet, we have few PvP events. Without diving into examining that issue for hours (thread pages) on end, lets get to the end-game. Lets organize a ranked warzone tournament. Unlike the hectic open-world pvp events ala Outlaw's Den tournaments, a ranked warzone tournament would be very simple to organize and maintain. Teams would sign up, brackets would be formed, then games would be scheduled and played. Winner is crowned top warzone team of the server. Details would be hammered by those interested in organizing such event. If interested in participating, please reply to this thread. Reply with suggestions too. Stay on topic. This thread is meant to touch base with PvPers out there about the topic at hand, not E-peen.
  14. i, hereby, set forth a new internet rule: pics or didn't happen. TY
  15. i love far-out ideas. we have enough planets
  16. no more esh-ka. i am so freaking bored of all the belsavis crap. Two daily areas and EV take place on Belsavis. Seriously, the new foes of the galaxy (after the Dread Masters) to come from Belsavis again? No way. Bioware has a lot of material to work with from other planet story-lines. Not gonna lie tho, Dreadtooth and HK-51 were great ways to wrap up the planet. Lets see the Voss (and gormacks) in endgame content in some form. The return of Malgus or Revan?
  17. Guild Capital ships are NOT part of the SSSP, that was confirmed on Livestream Event #2.
  18. just listened to episode 55. <3 Redna
  19. Point of endgame is to get endgame gear. Best endgame gear is needed for top endgame content. If you wanna do HM TFB and NiM EC, you need about full 61 Blackhole/Campaign to (at least) keep up. PvP gear has nothing to do with endgame PvE gear (since Dreadguard Relics). Best PvE gear has no place in PvP, but means everything to PvE players. -Captain Obvious
  20. QUESTION: Any more quests/events like the Magenta Crystal and the +10 Datacrons on the horizon? These events really got guilds, and at times complete strangers, working together for a common goal. QUESTION: Section X, the new dailies area, houses an awesome new world boss and a fun Heroic +4. The only issue most people have with it is that the terrain itself is absolutely too overplayed. This is the second daily area on Belsavis. What other planets may be used for expanded daily areas? What planet qualities are needed for a new daily area to be added there? QUESTION: Since 1.4 went live. Endgame item modifications have been extremely popular as a crafted product. Naturally, obtaining the best gear no longer solely requires constantly clearing Hardmode TFB. In general, it is easier to get BEST IN SLOT gear since 1.4. Is this the intention of the team? Will future item modifications still have a 20% chance to learn the schematic? Will players still be able to reverse engineer products of other crafters? QUESTION: Tauntaun mount? Other live mounts? QUESTION: Classes that can go stealth have a potentially free battle resurrection, which makes content very easy for certain classes. When will the stealth battle revive be fixed? QUESTION: The Molecular Stabilizer is naturally more common than the Synthetic Energy Matrix, a naturally rare crafting material. The crafting market created and maintains a much higher demand for molecular stabilizers because of the current situation of materials needed for high level item modifications. Is this intended? Are Synthetic Energy Matrix intended to not be a common crafting factor? QUESTION: Are mini-games like Pazaak planned? Pazaak would be an great addition to the Cartel Market since player cards would be sold. QUESTION: The most enjoyable questing situations revolve around the environment coming to life while players are in combat. Ally NPCs coming to your aid (or you coming to their aid) add a unique layer to combat not explored by this game very much. At times we see boss figures utilize their environment to perform their abilities (I would like to site specific examples but they spoil the main quest line of classes). Such elements are only heavily present in the leveling process but not so much in end-game PvE. As we say with Explosive Conflict, the potential of adding a NPC dynamic to actual combat was absolutely ignored even though it was very possible due to the nature of the operation story. Will we see a more dynamic involvement by NPCs in end-game content? ANSWER: Yes, my favorite Office character is Dwight.
  21. Just wanna say straight up. TFB is an awesome operation; best yet. The issue is simple, in the scope of Star Wars, TFB is so unique in its elements that it does not feel like Star Wars as we know it. I agree with other posters: lets get back to that Star Wars feel. The primary factor that every operation should have is that vibrant Star Wars atmosphere. The players should not be alone against the mobs/bosses. Remember all the major Star Wars operations in the movies/books/comics, the main characters are not alone. Non-essential characters are also involved to different degrees. Add some NPCs in there. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT MEAN NPCs INTERFERING IN COMBAT. Have NPC movement visible near players. Take EC Kephess for example, instead of having players bomb the walker three times, have bombers swoop in and lay waste on the walker. Regarding EC Firebrand and Stormcaller, have NPCs run in at the start of the fight and die. Basically meaning that the typical soldier can not advance, it is up to the champion squad to push forward now. Bonetrasher (first boss in KP) captured the Star Wars feel perfectly. Not only was it very similar to Luke vs the Rancor, but there is a mechanic that involves NPCs + a scripted event that causes some of the audience to fall in the pit. Stop putting awesome scripted events in cutscenes and add'em to actual gameplay.
  22. Ossus: The planet has a pretty unique DNA. Definitely a popular choice if more people knew about it. Manaan and Kashyyk: Play around with vertical layouts. Manaan should have a city level and a underwater level. Kashyyk can have a forest floor level + a treetop level; similar to KotOR. The boring horizon layout is too typical. Dantooine: Loved it in KotOR. Gotta revisit it. Like others have said in previous posts. New daily areas in current planets is welcomed as long as it is not more of the same. Lets revisit our home planets like Tython, Coruscant/Dromund Kaas, and Korriban. Tython and Korriban had great atmospheres. On these planets, you were just a low level jedi/sith in the presence of greatness, literally. Lets see some more of the Jedi Council/ Dark Council. No more holocalls with these key figures of the galaxy. The capital planets are thriving (for the most part), which is actually a unique feature in the galaxy. Nice to just lay back at times... and this is where mini-games come in WARNING: NO MORE ICE PLANETS. We got Hoth and Belsavis. No terrain layout that resembles Belsavis. We've been burned out due to the planet instance itself + EV + Section X.
  23. i can just imagine wat they were saying on vent/mumble/ts3 as they were synchronizing...
