  1. the drop more champ commendations 15 to be exact. with a chance at a BM, thats what its supposed to be >_>.
  2. http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/682/swtor2012021107543163.png
  3. You can buy orange belts with space commendations . . . So none. Not a damn credit. Orange Bracers on the other hand, until I find another location to get them probably around 50-100k.
  4. I agree that Deathfield and Haunted Dreams are both very useful in their own rights. It sucked losing it when I switched over. However it went from a 2500 crit AoE (hitting 3 targets) for 25 force, to a single target 4600. It got the the point where I was always running low on force at inopportune times. But the core of this spec is Shock and Thrash, thats your bread and butter hands down. The rest is subject to your own tastes. I prefer single target and with Spike/Electrocute and Force Pull I find it to be enough control in most situations so not having haunted dreams hasnt been too noticable. And I posted the use of Dark Ward and the shield in my gear, because thats what Im using now. In the video I was running a Focus. However from the past few days I have not noticed a decrease in damage for the majority. However I have on several occasions noticed myself taking considerably less damage in certain situations. So Im going to give it a run. P.S - On your note about 3 or 4 people capping a door I tend to always be in stealth if Im in transition between nodes so a sprint and a knockback usually works. And I tend to also run with a premade so that makes objectives indirectly less important with vent and callouts. However you are right and I will say most dont run in premades or even have access to ones. So in that situation Deathfield and Haunted dreams my be superior.
  5. For some reason the option to make it mobile isnt working for me sorry, may be an issue with size or format or something. Ill keep trying. I wont link a direct path to my spec, it should be visible in the video. I took a fair amount of time going over it. I was having alot of issues with force gen, when I had points into Raze and Deathfield. But dropping those switching to Maul and using Dark Embrace really helped with that. For as much as I sit in stealth and with using vanish for just a break in a fight instead of for Shockwater its very useful. Cheers for the comments, Ive taken to keeping Fraps rolling through most matches now so when my external 300gb fills up again Ill make another vid. Im recording in full screen now so the next one should be in better quality.
  6. I posted this in the inquisitor general boards but Ill post it again here. Its my first video ever, I think it turned out quite well. Its mainly just a crit vid but enjoy.
  7. This is my first video, made using virtualdub. Didnt come out the greatest as far as production goes but Im rather impressed for it being the first video Ive ever cut.
  8. I am currently sitting at the imperial outpost on Ilum, offering 25k to any winners to come duel me. No one will come play, please bioware give us a place to duel.
  9. I think there needs to be a place on the Imperial Fleet (and the Republic equivalent) where we can actually duel. Preferably within range of General chat. Personally I find dueling to be a great way to get better at your class, and a way to pass the time in between WZ ques or this or that. I just think its lacking a little something, having to go down to planet side to duel someone. Especially when the majority of lvl 50's (or players in general) are on Ilum and actually playing with rebels. So its go to Ilum and find someone or find someone in fleet to go down planet side to mess around. Thats troublesome. Also please increase incentives to PvP in Outlaw's Den. At the moment I sit out there in between WZ pops, and maybe Ill see 7 or 8 people over the course of the day. Make the chest have potential to drop gear tokens, or allow valor to be gained there. Or something. I feel its a great idea but wasted, in its distance from anything else.
  10. 23/5/12 works for PvP well. Pure darkness is a tanky SoB for PvP and PvE. Deception and Madness are great PvE dps specs but have no survivability since its not needed in PvE. For us PvPers we have potentially 2 viable specs, that contain survivability. Deception does crazy DPS if it lives long enough I wont deny that. We are perfectly fine, if a little overpowered by the ease we have of getting medals in matches (I average 11, my best has been 15, the max a sin can get is 17 in a single match, there are 18 medals total avaliable in game) In any case we are fine, for what bioware wants us to be. Just be glad we arent marauders who only have 1 viable spec . . . period. And its getting a buff next patch.
  11. Im a sin and my champ gear is superior in nearly every way to my BM based solely on the relative uselessness of power/accuracy vs crit/surge for my spec.
  12. I love the idea of an open free for all PvP area like the Outlaws Den. I spent 2 or 3 hours earlier today farming chests for merc commendations and the occasional opponent that stumbled in. However in those few hours I barely killed 5 or 6 Red's and got an equal number of chests. This is unacceptable. Especially with it only being merc commendations, its a nice zone. 3 PvP vendors, a GM and a Mailbox. If I could get my dailies and get them done out there I would be in heaven. Bioware please please please. increase the chest spawn rate and make it worthwhile like champ commendations or potential token drops. Get people out there fighting. A place to actually assert dominance instead of the zerg and camp of Ilum.
  13. However 90% of my matches that end in wins, we farm. We hit 5-0 or 5-1 and then farm, the ONLY time me and my group finish matches early is when we want to pick someone up that just came online. It is a waste of valuable valor to end it when you have 6-7 minutes of farming available. And of course if you are losing, or its a hardfought game there will be constant conflict. Either you are clearing out the enemy carriers or the enemy farmers. So no matter what a good chance at DPS is not far away. So I fail to see how these statements of DPS in huttball shouldnt matter, matters. Though I do whole heartedly agree that voidstar needs to be in a class of its own. In Civil war typically since I am only one of two stealthers (the other being a heal op) that runs in my guild, after we claim a node (usually go for right) I stick around on a node to bait in singles who thing its empty. Other then that I rarely fight it out so my DPS lacks on civil war. But in both Huttball and voidstar I usually pull in ~300k.
  14. No class in any game is necessarily hard to learn, you have your skills and your rotation. You practice some and your set. MMOs by the vast majority ARE NOT HARD. So you pick a class knowing nothing of the end game and find a way to make it viable. Then you play it. I enjoy my Thrash spam, waiting for procs for shock/CD. Its consistent and holds its own. And its little more complicated then Tracer Tracer Tracer or Shiv Shiv Shiv agreed but /shrug. Just using what works for my class. Im not about to reroll another character and get it in full champ gear =/
  15. Thats why I just went Dark/Mad hybrid, I use stealth only to get into position and to escape with vanish. However my DPS is consistent just sitting on them face to face. The issue I had with a pure madness build was the pure number of things you had to keep track of, 3-4 dots, while meleeing to make use of shock/melee bonus crit. Plus shock. Im not that adept of a player so there are just too many things going on. And for Deception it was high spike damage but very very low consistency. Even with 33% crit at the time. In Darkness you have very consistent damage, when you apply DPS gear to it, it holds its own with any dps class. Just takes the know how to make the build and get used to its nuances. And Im bad I cant manage stance dancing with my current system and lag. So it is what it is.
