  1. Have you tried to complete all the quests you are currently on. I am going to guess you forgot to do something.
  2. Check your personal storage. The items are unlikely just disappearing this would have been found in the most basic scope of testing.
  3. This is the reason they are going to hold Q&A sessions. I have seen some of these discussion this community has, most of them are not up to the quality to let the Janitor at Bioware respond to, most are not worth the paper they are printed on. As evidence by this thread, they do post the most recent patch notes, both on the websites and through the launcher.
  4. I did exactly this. I was able to reach level 20 playing 10 hours within the first 2 weeks of the game's release. I have sense reduce that to about 5 hours a week and I will be reaching level 30 on my main Bounty Hunter and level 6 on my IA
  5. I really hope they don't allow you to share ordinary items between factions even on the same account. I am perfectly fine with sharing items bound to your account.
  6. They are not going to change it. They implemented it this way, they discussed it, they decided against it. The two factions are not friends, in the future you might be able to transfer certain types of items ( i.e. account based items ) but never "items" this it like saying it sucks you can mail your stuff to your friend on another server.
  7. This is correct. The entire point of different factions is to keep them separate. There is a neutral GTN Both of these game play elements are not new.
  8. What is interesting is that droid says "point oh oh oh eight percent increase" When technically a very scientific terms and/or engineering terms should be "point zero zero zero eight percent". I am not sure the reason they went with "oh" instead of "zero"
  9. Have him post a screenshot for you or craft the item for you.
  10. Missions are not that profitable. When you considering it costs money to run those missions, to the amount of money to purchase the single mission, must allow for some possible profit. If you sell a mission that generates 5,000 credits and spend 10,000 credits on the mission and 2,000 to run it the your an idiot. augments are useless critical gear is way to rare. Level 30 augments going for 300 credits if your luck, yeah right. Costs 800 to do the mission.
  11. Will people stop suggesting that slicing is profitable? 3,000 credits an hour is not profitable. Finding a couple thousand credits in a lockbox, is not going to pay for anything, you would need to find dozens in a single session( class 5 & 6 ) lockboxes don't drop that much to begin within. You can make 12,000 pure profit from a single item, craft multiple items, and sell them. Making half of that ( maybe ) just isn't worth the time. If you think slicing is profitable then your an idiot, or don't have a level 50 yet, just bite your tongue.
  12. Its certainly is possible, and you have provided no evidence that its not accuratee, so what you say is improbable.
  13. Before the release of this game I reported an error in an article about early access. In one half of the article it said "up to 5 days" in another it made mention of the extended amount time that actally happen. I opened a support ticket to report this error. All website advertisements made mention of the term "up to 5 days" which at this point I didn't realize was wrong. My ticket was closed, and I got some stupid "role playing" response, it barely fit my question. So I opened a second ticket, explained that a "role playing" response before the release was lame, and to simple concentrate and confirm what I reported was indeed an error. This time I never really got a response, my ticket was closed, and I assume its stuck in limbo. I have a third response, it took 7 days to show up in the interface, and claims it was updated today. All in all this game has horrible in-game support. I have not actually had a real issue, the response do not resolve the problem, I don't normally complain about ticket times but because of all the other bugs it seems reasonable to complain about this. Bioware always did have a quality control problems, their games are wonderful and are fun to play, but stupid silly bugs get through. I was naked for 5 levels because of the same pants, that made appear like I had no pants on during one of the last open beta weekends.(stress test one )
  14. Many ways this is possible. Rift has one fatal flaw, its class mechanics are to similar to World of Warcraft's, its also a big strength if they can come up with better boss mechanics. Lets face it, there is only so many ways a group of developers can think to make a boss different, Rift players are also young ( new game ) compared to the 6 year vets of WoW where nothing seems new even the Deathwing encounter.
  15. So you are alright with people just wasting each others time? When there are enough Flashpoints and Operations for this to even become a problem, I guarantee you, groups will start to get rid of these players that put little effort into playing their best
  16. I know I already supported Zennshi's suggestions his recent additions are even better. The fact Augments are like 100 augments to 1 every critically craft piece of armor is pathetic. They either need to make those missions fail more often, so the augments are worth more, seriously I have had to place them up for 50 credits ( were talking like level 30 augments ). The rest of his suggestion are stellar.
  17. Funny..I can make money off salvaging missions. Use the lower tier resources you are earning and sell larger amounts, if you do that, you can charge more.
  18. I do not believe you. I have run missions that cost nearly 800 credits and in both cases I receive 500 credits. More often then not, the amount of credits I receive is a net loss, 500 credits on a 30 minute mission is horrible. I can make 5x that on a single salvage mission.
  19. All this tells me is you were doing tons of missions. You don't indicate or estimate how much of the 500k credits you claim to have came from Slicing. While it might be easier to make money at higher levels the costs are also higher. I am level 25 and place everything for sale, I have 2,500 credits, the most I had before slicing was made into a useless skill was 20,000.
  20. Somebody recently posted a test, that they made on average 3,500 credits an hour, at level 50 this doesn't pay to repair a single item when its damaged. I still cannot sell Mission Discoveries. Augments are basically worthless.. The only augments that seem to have any worth are the higher level ones, which I cannot attempt for, because my slicing is to low.
  21. It seems strange missions are sold at all. I personally feel you should discover missions for as a random reward for the given skill. Mission Discoveries are over priced. 20,000 likely wouldn't even cover what it to took to discover it in the first place ;$
  22. Exactly The author misses my point about the nodes. The lockboxes I get from a security box is the same node I get from a mission. The entire point about how the nodes AND missions are do not generate a profit is a problem. 500 credits is nothing. Won't even cover my repair bill getting to the darn thing.
  23. I have seen dozens of items for every slot, and people trying to sell them in the trade channel, dozen attempts is nothing. Getting a critical sucess is suppose to be a fairly significant event.
