    Wz's not paying enough

They still dont pay enough and should be scaled to the level, also taking the time to complete into account.
  2. The way I see it, a WZ should payout the same amount of credits as it pays for completing a same level quest. At the current rate it needs to be quadrupled to be on par with same level quests especislly in the lvl 50+ range.
  3. IMHO, Turbine did it right and it seems bioware is on the right path when they mirror some of their f2p model. Has having the gold cap unlockable from the turbine store hurt subs? Not the last I looked. Once LOTRO went f2p they started doing better and still are. I think it’s silly when people say "I'll unsub if you do x or y" They remind me of my kids arguing w/ each other when the other feels there's been an injustice. I would argue that this credit cap alone keeps more players away than there would be if the cred cap was unlockable. In the long term, not allowing the cred cap to be removed is going to hurt swtor. I know of alot of people who do not sub to lotro who just buy points, and lifers who also buy points. To me it feels stingy and like penny pinching to me. Everything we as subs have access should be unlockable, everything. Not given for free but unlockable. Its better business in the long run. Think about, if people can pick exactly how they play, picking and purchasing any and all unlocks they choose, they will be having more fun, play longer and be tempted to buy from the market. They can't care about those whom I mentioned above and do what makes better sense, and is proven to work. Not everyone will be happy, but the majority will and they will be rewarded by people buying more points for these unlocks. Lastly I think the mistake bioware made was instead of giving subs more for their loyalty, they took more from preferred. Here’s where they missed the boat imho. When someone comes in game as a f2p, without having given 1 cent to the game, it makes sense that there are a ton of restrictions. They really treated the previous subscribers badly here. If they want more subs, they need to treat current subs and previous subbers way better. I don’t see them doing this, but to me it seems like they are obviously desperate for subs, so desperate that they made the non subbers game time much more time consuming and slow. High levels are forced to spend their money after doing the dailies and not are now going to be completely blocked from some legacies. I think lotro is doing it right for the most part and I would like to see swtor successful as them. So Please bioware consider the bigger picture and not only allow the cred cap to be removed but the other little things that keep players playing.
  4. Ahh, i was looking for someone more obvious.. thx
  5. You know i got the yellow crystal and well, its not that different than the yellow. I dont care who gots it, i just wanted to mouse the crystal was a bonus. What is interesting is that they said for us to keep our crystals as they would be traded for upgraded crystals. I hung onto mine on some characters but there was no way tp trade. They didnt keep their word. They said a few things that didnt happen. They said there would be a recruitment bag for purchase after 1.2 that had a full set of starter pvp armour too. Never happened. For the OP i feel sad if you did buy the mouse just for the unique crystal. I was disappointed in mine, but i didnt care cuz I love my mouse

  7. 2/10 for effort. The Counselor ove set cracjed me up, it reminded me of the Egyption slaves or something. I hate the armour for my Sage for pvp and will only save up my comendations for the Battlemaster gear instead. I'd say only the troopers look like troopers, I'd have a hard time guessing what the other classes were though. I dont know though lotro had some pretty ugly gear sets and now their pvp sets are less to be desired. Not as bad as some of these but comparable.
  8. Well I can’t say I agree that it is dying, but bear in mind that when such a huge game like this launches, at first you will get huge numbers. Not everyone will stay. There were alot of people who didn’t play mmo's before star wars and were here just for the lore. The solo play pulled them in and many of them are still here. The hardcore gamers who joined at launch are bored and many have left back to their old games or new games. There are many groups of people who play. The people at swtor need to cater to all groups of people not just the hardcore, which is what they are starting to do. The hardcores will be very hard to please because they zip through everything so fast and exhaust themselves with getting the new gear. They get their new gear and they get bored. Also the reason SWTOR had some record breaking subs at launch was because we were required to sign up for a sub even though we had a free 30 with the game. I saw it as manipulating the numbers a bit. I don’t think its dying, but I believe the server pops are insanely low. My server was a big one too and there was always a 15-30 min queue at launch. It would make sense to merge some of the lower pop servers with others. I hope they succeed. If they were to offer lifetime accounts I would buy one. If they go fp2, well we know how that will go. I hate micro-transactions as do many of us. I good way for them to figure out what we want is to ask everyone to fill out a form or something in private as many people won’t post on the forums because of trolls and flaming that goes on when someone has an unpopular opinion. For my myself, I unsubbed for many reasons I will not list everything, but alot have to do with the recent changes with 1.2 and where the game is leading. The legacy unlocks were great but it really rubbed me the wrong way when I saw that I had unlocked many awesome things in the legacy system but was STILL required to spend millions of credits to get to use these "unlocks". It took me forever to save for the speeder piloting for level 40 and 50. I love crafting and I found I was always broke because crafting cost so much for mats and recipes just from the vendor. Then the skills were so much. It was manageable before 1.2, though a little hard if you are not a slicer. Yet it’s so lame to have all these awesome unlocks for the legacy system that I worked hard to level by leveling alts, well I can’t enjoy most of them because they start at 500,000 credits. The changes in pvp that require insane amounts of commendations and the heavy decrease in commendations to go with that. The new pvp system seems to punish the losing team alot with zero even if they try to fight all the way from start to finish. Some fights you simply get steam rolled and many of us stick it out but now you get nothing at all sometimes, and if you enter a WZ late you don’t get anything at all. Those are just a few reasons for me, there will be people who agree and those who disagree, and everyone has their own reasons for unsubing. There is an exit survey they will ask you to fill out and people should just vent their concerns directly to them. It’s up to them to decide what to do with that info. My hope is they make this game better and funner. It is a "game" and many people take things way too seriously in here.
  9. /signed This change i dont understand. I needed the medpacks durring my last class missions for my sage. No real reason that it needs this nerf.
  10. I serched up and down Hoth. I went to that mountain where you turn the that water buff into a glass of water. Every time i go there is always someone camping the chest, that is where the wamps spawns i believe because as a biochemist I was able to harvest the dead wampa, but sadly not loot it Oh well, heres hoping we can figure this mystery out soon.
  11. Thats not broken thats awesome!!! TY BW for taking the grind out of getting decent gear fast and not making us grind for months on end for gear that gets easily replaced with every huge update. You know some of you are so use to the grind thst you are missing something else. You could always pass on the gear and do it again and again like in other mmos and still ave the grind expierience you crave. I love this and see it as BW doing something very cool for us. I hate grinding, its not fun. I think its the high you are chasing, the high you get after doing te same raid over and over and finally winning the epic loot that you lost rolls on countless times... sound familiar? This is how it should be. In lotro for example you can have a full set of gear too in a few weeks by doing the weekly raid skirms plus doing the dragon raid, I never heard them complaining that they got their loot or gear to fast. What BW is doing is making it funner for the majority of us who would like to thank them for this not condemn them.
  12. Yes, just some faster way to get to your ship, however they work it with a shuttle or what, would be soooo nice!
  13. I agree with the op. I would just like to know how mant points i got even if it looks like 12000/10000 or sometging so i can see the numbers. Expanding our companions with future updates would be good too! I'm all for that and enjoy this aspect very much in the game.
