Let me put it this way; EverQuest has been dying since 1999.

My rule of thumb is to never help unless someone is clearly about to die or is asking for help. And even in the first scenario I had people scold me for butting in. Personally I don't like people jumping in on my fights either, puts me out of my rhythm.

I've only finished one story so far, light side consular, so I can't really comment on that. I did like the consular though although chapter 2 was rather weak. I posted this on another forum last year, might throw some light on my playing philosophy;

As far as I know, it's a running joke on especially streaming sites like Twitch where chat will answer with Darude - Sandstorm every time someone in chat asks what the song is being played. I believe it originates to the song being played on streams a lot before matches and eventually people answering with Darude -Sandstorm even if an other song was playing. It's not funny any more and I've actually seen people banned from chat for using it on Twitch. Please someone correct me when I'm wrong (which is rather likely).

My philosophy when playing a tank; You pull it, you deal with it. Of course there have been exceptions to the rule, using a Ranger in EverQuest to find mobs and lead them back to the group in places like Oasis or using a Hunter to pull and kite certain mobs or bosses in WoW. But yeah, don't pull unless you're told to if you're not the tank, this also illustrates why I hate PUGs.

How about "We're too cheap to man this forum and frankly we don't give a damn anyway sort it out your damn self forum." I'm sorry but CS for this game is the worst I've seen in any MMO I've played (dating back to EQ1 in '99) both in-game and otherwise. I love the game, but the CS is on par with Ubisoft in it's worst days.

Back in late 2011 early 2012 these whispers where rampant on The Shadow Hand and likely a lot of other servers. At one point I would get like 4 whispers per hour.

Back in the day, Sprint was available around level 15 or something and speeder bikes later still. It's essentially something left over from the original build of the game, as subs get it at lvl 1 now. Literately running around in places like Taris was'nt that much fun

64 total... yeah No 55 though, my Shadow has been parked at a pre-expansion 50 since mid 2012 while I rotate most of my alts. Second highest is a 35 Mercenary, then about 10 chars around 20-25 and the rest between 11-17. I also took an extended leave from the game several times. Guess I like the journey more then the destination As for the OP, hope you get it sorted out, I trade materials and equipment a lot between alts so it must really suck.
