  1. Im not asking for more cc. Im asking for a CC ability already in game to not break with a DoT.... among other suggestions. I just feel like Gunslingers/Snipers are the squishiest class and could use a little help in the survivability department. I mean, I could be crazy and ask for all my attacks to ignore armor.... . . . . .

Gunslinger, Dirty fighting spec. My damage is decent and balanced. But I get steamrolled... bad. I have 4 pieces of Champ gear, the rest Cent. and well over 10% expertise. If i am even looked at sideways, by ANY class/spec Im dead. My spec allows me to be highly mobile, so Im not tied to cover, and I use ALL of my defensive CD's appropriately. My suggestions: Increase absorption of our shield ( defense screen I believe its called ), by at least 3K. - as it stands right now, Im not sure if it absorbs more than 1K, which at 50 is any classes basic attack. Its almost not worth the GC Increase the effective time of Dodge from 3 sec to 10 sec - This is in no way OP. Dodge only effects melee and ranged, So tech abilities, force, and elemental all get through it, so all classes can get around it...it just gives us a little breathing room for that time. Heck, make it 12 seconds to be on par with other classes mitigation CD's and increase the CD time. Make Leg shot NOT break with damage ( or at least DoT ) - this is a great escape ability, only problem, it breaks on damage. How often are you trying to kite a target thats not taking damage or has some kind of DoT on them? Almost never. Its just something to create a bit of space. What do you guys think?
  3. Ok, Armormechs get rakata stuff.... And they can sell that to others. But wouldnt it be nice if they got a specific armor that only they could use? Or something? I cant think of anything creative enough at the moment. Armstech got completely left by the wayside. Artifice can make crystals which is useful.... but what if they could make a special crystal that only they could use, and that crystal provided a type of stat buff or some on demand ability with a CD. Im just brainstorming to try and bring other class skills in line with biochem.
  4. My 2 creds.... I have a 50 Agent ( Sniper ) AND a 50 Smug ( 'slinger ) The numbers appear bigger with my sniper, but thats only because there is not a second number slightly trailing behind the first, sometimes difficult to see. This does seem to make a difference for my Ambush crits in WZ's trying to get the 2.5K hit in one shot is more difficult for a GS, as it only registers the crit from the MH gun.. at least this is what I have noticed, but I may be wrong. I also notice the difference between the GS Sab charge ( explosive probe for agents ). When We cast it, the animation is akin to throwing a frizbee that spins through the air, very slowly, then sticks to the target, then exploding.... The Agents explosive probe drops IMMEDIATLY out of the sky. Other than that... not too many glaring differences
  5. I have done a bit of testing in duels with the shield... and it seems that it absorbs around 800 - 1.5k damage. Granted,you can spec Saboteur, and spend 2 points on a FIFTH tier talent to increase it by 30%.... So, wait... A shield that only absorbs about 1K damage now absorbs 1.3K?!?! What a waste of points! Like I said, most classes basic attack can wipe that shield clean off in 1 or 2 hits. What do Sorcs/Sages bubbles absorb? I have put an entire channeled wounding shot into one, with both of my bleeds ticking, just to watch them laugh and run away taking no damage.... Ambush? ::ABSORB:: Another thing annoying about our little probe shield thingy... When its no longer Absorbing anything ( and thats long before the 15 sec. is up ) please please please have it drop off. Just a graphic issue really, but hey, while Im dreaming. . . .
  6. Thats just it... bring other crew skills in line with biochem. Dont Nerf it. Nerfs are bad. Making armor and weapons to sell for alts and companions is kinda... meh ... Lets make it so that having a crew skill and taking it to 400 means something, enables you to craft something that is unique to THAT crew skill. Right now, Biochem and Cybertech are the only ones that get anything fun/unique and useful in PvP and PvE.
  7. By Other I mean, anything not Biochem or Cybertech. When will these other skills get some love. At 50, they are totally USELESS. Dont even get me started on biochem and how absurdly OP it is in every form. If you do not have biochem at 50 and PvP, you are gimped... plain and simple. I propose a change. And Im not calling for a Nerf, Im just asking for other crew skills to be brought up to par. EX: Let Armstech make a blaster barrel that only they can use that adds a DoT or some passive stat increase Just something to make the other crew skills interesting and worth having. As it stands now we should all just be biochemists. YAY...

  9. Honestly, this is kind of awesome, and it would put an interesting twist on world PvP. The ONLY downfall.... You would get large groups roaming around gang banging anyone and everyone...No one would be able to quest or get anything done. People would hide in flashpoints and Ops all day long, to scared of losing their gear. But I would still like to see a hardcore PvP server like this... just remove WZ's. Go out into the world and kill for your gear. So frustrating, and so fun! +1
  10. Possibly... It seems as though the speeder takes so many twists and turns it would be too confusing to really get a good idea of the map... besides, there is an overhead view of it in the top right corner for easy reference. I like the idea of being able to toggle it off, but I think just removing it all together would be best.
  11. - - Please remove the speeders from Voidstar. When you are Defense in the first round, it is more than frustrating when you are riding on your speeder as the attacking team is planting a bomb, and the defending team is outnumbered. Not only do you have to ride this speeder in, but then you have to stand behind a door for potentially 45 seconds. The result.... The attacking team gets an easy push to the next set of doors, and people on the defending team begin to leave the warzone, feeling helpless.... and now another person gets to ride a speeder into a losing WZ, on the defensive side, to sit behind a door for 45 seconds.
  12. Arenas ruined most of the class balance in WoW. The developers even stated that the implementation of arenas was wrong, and if he could, he would take it back. Arenas In swtor? No thank you. Lets be realistic, dual sorc hybrid teams with no diminishing returns? Ya that sounds like fun:jawa_mad:
