  1. Feel stupid to ask this but if I have operation passes in my inventory still, should I make a ticket?
  2. This. 100 times this. A hindrance to make up for the lack of new endgame operation and PvP content. I suppose BW looked at the metrics and thought that people love to grind and forgot how people like to feel like they are progressing in somewhat sensible pace. This, this is not a sensible pace.
  3. OP of this thread. I would like to congratulate you for an awesome name!
  4. Heh... that's entirely objective. Getting the last piece from bosses is pretty fast gearing. As I understood, it'll reward that piece to everyone in the raid - or the token or whatever it is called? However, it does not change the fact that you have to grind amazing amount of time to get to the 240 armorings in case your team needs the extra those provide for Master raiding or something else. Previously, changing roles for your raid team was a possibility, people could cover for others so more raids would happen. WIth this system, not so much and that is a problem. BW, just get over it, your RNG attempt is a failure. For me this update is a fiasco. I used to play all healing and dps classes on HM/NiM raids and that provided variety and fun to me. Now, without much grind, that is no longer possible. That or having to grind credits and mats to get those crafted? Seriously BW, I know I am a minority but please Ben, Ben, Ben Ben, do explain how do you think easier gearing hurt the game and how does the current version of gearing help the game? If you can explain that, I am most curious. As for an answer, please, for crying out loud BW, get yourself an UX TEAM before it's too late. You are flailing in the dark now. Also, BW, could you please make credits legacy wide. This is like 2005 not having those like that.
  5. They would never just reset the reputations to "offer" players possibility to repeat the reputation grind. ....oh wait. snap.
  6. Galactic Command levels are not content sir. But, sure, thanks for listing arbitrary measuring system locking gear levels behind grind instead of actual skill on doing content. As for Uprising: Until 'mastery' level is granted those are just trivial to the point of making it grind. Also, placing a few NPCs and rehashed abilities to champions inside old areas is not exactly a win from content point of view. This is purely from point of view of a person who likes their games to have some challenge. Now, that in mind, we got our last "raids", or if you prefer another term 'operations' with 3.0. Since then, we've only gotten story. As people have pointed out GSF and PvP have been somewhat ignored for years. Now, keep in mind that this is what people call "endgame content". That translates into "doing something together with people after leveling." Function of endgame content is to prolong interest of players to the game after the story or leveling experience and interest is consumed. People who do not understand the significance of endgame content and how to actually classify it are not that concentrated on consuming it. Thus in SWTOR they are happier players and easily confused when they find not everyone is content with the state of the game. Also, claiming to know a reason why developers do not read the forums and guilt tripping critical feed back giving players is an actual high horse of tremendous magnitude. Ja Halinallelle: Etkö huonompaa vertausta keksinyt?
  7. Oh and this closed thread here --> http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=225595&highlight=rng+bag
  8. Oh look at this! I FOUND A TIME MACHINE!!!
  9. Lest we forget. I think this thread has a lot of good insight provided.
  10. Heh... I don't think the raiding minority is alone in this in near future. People start to notice after a while. But again, as it doesn't concern you, it doesn't matter, right? Or if you are happy, then everyone else is wrong? Which one? I still don't understand why there can't be both systems available? Just have it Armor Piece Tokens for x-crates earned. Grinders will still go for higher rated set bonus armoring even if they'd have the NIM mod and enhancement.
  11. I wonder how BW missed that. Perhaps we should have been vocal about it and written a post or two prior to 5.0. Oh wait, we did. Didn't we. BW didn't even elaborate as to why they are doing this. Stellar job BW, stellar job!
  12. Just saying, with 5.0, you will get pretty awesome offers if you are unsubbed soon. I can smell the desperation from general direction of Austin. The smell is tronk!
  13. Oh not at all, not in the slightest. The first words, please, seriously, not negating at all. G'luck with your understanding of the world.
  14. Wait what? What did I miss? 5.0 and no new PvP content? 5.0 and no new operations content? An expansion worthy of two hours of story game play because of whatever reason and bore you to death four man instances? I wonder if anyone remembers what 4.0 brought us. I guess no one. Well done BW. Well done.
  15. "not unsubbing..." Geez. All the complaints and questions about everything are moot now. Who would have thought it only required this insightful post to negate all the criticism. Thanks!
  16. No, seriously, a resounding NO. Doing to ourselves? What about what the devs are doing to their business? Your priorities are really wickedly distorted. People complain about an aspect they do not like and you say "customers, shut up, and think about it, albeit this change might not.. blablabla..". Thanks. Good job. See it from someone else's point of view. A lot of people have tried to see from the dev point of view but thanks to no communication, the design decisions are completely unexplained and there is just unhappiness. Sure, think about yourself and be quiet when a product you have paid for changes dramatically, to something you don't enjoy, be quiet will you!
  17. Ladies, gentlemen and gentlebeings ..this is what happens when you let someone decide who relies on statistics purely. BW, your golden goose, the one who said it'll be alright, managed to make all the wrong decisions. Gz!
  18. I underlined what seems like a learned lesson here. Exactly the same for me. Well said sir.
  19. It's been beta tested. However, I think the popularity of beta testing has fallen because of lack of operations to be tested.
  20. Hope is the right word when describing BioWare communicating about issues such as these. God forbid something goes wrong with the Cartel Market and there are immediate rollbacks and communication. It seems instant bank account glorification at Austin overrides the long term health of the game.
  21. ...seem to be forgotten with 5.0. How long should we wait until new materials are added to those vendors? It would seem logical considering we get Scavenged Scrap from CXP boxes. Three months? Half a year?
  22. Maybe this is about metrics? BW: Having statistics about something does not tell you why your customers did it. Just that they did it. If you do not bother to find out why, then you can end up doing colossal mistakes based on your assumption, faulty interpretation about specific statistic. Running an MMO is knowing why rather than "how many". That's the only way to continue developing to the right direction. You might get lucky but you might also do serious mistakes.
  23. I am sure this will be fixed by 6.0. Perhaps they really screwed up and they can't bring them back without rollback. Then they chose not to do so because of releasing an expansion should go well! Rollback might actually be news on MMO sites. This, not so much, unless of course, someone will take it up to write about this insanity.
