  1. You cant just blame EA on this but it doesn't matter now. Now I will be looking for someone to file a lawsuit to get their money back since the game hasn't been out a year and already going F2P. The companies horrible communication and pride have ruined the game and its going to fade away like other MMO's.
  2. I'd rather send back my CE box and contents and get a refund. The game hasn't even been out a year and it's already going F2P.
  3. I am using the 13/28 spec and if you re correct then devs need to be punched in the nuts. The community has proven time and time again that the class needs to be fixed/adjusted. What more do we need to do to show the devs that they are killing this class.
  4. There is nothing wrong with shadow other than our dps is crap compared to other classes. There are exceptions though because some play the class better but generally our dps is low. A shadow in PVP can be killed very very quickly but the 13/28 build is the way to go, it is just a little weird for PVE. Someone did say they are getting rid of hybrid specs so the build may not last much longer and then its back to the drawing board.
  5. Where did they say they are getting rid of hybrid specs? I must have missed that post. The only way I was able to play my shadow effectively was to have a hybrid spec because the class is crap. They are the red headed step children that can slapped in the face all the time. The devs probably dont even play this class so they have no idea what we are talking about.
  6. Well technically I didn't pvp on my toon till I hit 50 before they had recruit gear and I did ok. Once I got expertise gear than I started to do much better and now I am in the top 3 in medals for the republic side. You shouldn't have to practice outside of a warzone to pvp. Buy the recruit gear and go out and learn. I don't understand this handicap way of learning pvp the OP is suggesting. You have to go into a pvp match like you would go into a new operation with your guild. You go in there learning the fights and their mechanics which would also apply to pvp. You go into a match and learn how other classes work and then build your strat around that. Who you can stand toe to toe against and who you can't, which person to avoid and which person to sneak up on and attack.
  7. 1- Mouse over healing really isn't needed. You can use your f1-f4 keys to target players and then hit your heal button or purchase a razer mouse. 2- I can definitelly get behind being able to move the debuff/buff to a different area of the UI or at least manipulate them to look like elkbuffbars from WoW. I can't tell you just how many times I miss using an ability because I am to busy paying attention to the situation I am in and forget about the buff I need to do more damage. 3&6- health percentages or remaining health would be great information to have and allow us to move the numbers/percentages within the bar to show on the left or right hand side. 5- If social points are legacy wide then they would need to increase the amount of points you need because that would make it to easy for alts and your play style may change because you can't fully immerse yourself in the game since you already have everything you want on your alt.
  8. An audio notification is definitely needed in case you step away from the computer to do something
  9. open world pvp and duels give you all the practice you need.
  10. Are there any plans to make shadow consulars less squishy and bring their DPS up to par with other damage classes. The damage output is the lowest of all the repbulic dps classes.

    Artifice

the skill is a time and money sink...you may rarely find it useful but EAWare effectively made this skill worthless by letting people get better items from dailys.
  12. They could always lower the exchange amount and still give a pop up to accept the transfer. They do need to change this though to either give us a slide bar to choose how many to transfer or a box to type in the amount to transfer.
  13. The problem is you aren't meant to do 1vs1 but you can do it. Are you popping up behind the enemy and knocking them down then unloading then vanishing and repeating the cycle or do you just sneak up, knockdown, attack standing toe to toe? DO you move around to cause LOS issues? I have been using this spec for roughly 2 monthsin PVE and PVP. PVE is still kind of odd to me but it works, you just have to watch out for your aoe so you dont break stuns. In PVP I pick my fights and sneak around. I don't end up at the top of the damage charts but I am not meant to. 90% of the time I top the chart in medals. I work for the objectives and medals, not face rolling although you can face roll with it if you use all your skills properly.

    really not one-sided

LOL To the OP, the game isn't one sided but some skills or classes on each side are overpowered. Sometimes it also comes down to your group make up and each persons PVP ability and gear. It may appear to be one sided but it really isn't. Most people just like imps because they have bounty hunters or lightning hands.
  15. LOL I was wondering about the bathroom to. I like the idea of swoop racing but maybe it should be speeders the event announcers provide and not our own unless it restricts speeds so its fair across the board. Make it so 2 to 10 people race for credits or commendations to get social gear/speeders/pets/whatever. Minigames can do wonders for mmos if done right.
  16. I understand what you are saying but I do not like this idea. I don't see much stacking of classes but I do see some abilities that are OP on imp and pub side. I think its more of the skills that need to be adjusted and not the group makeup. Some stuns seem way to long, some shields seem to power, some classes are to squishy, some hit to hard, some people chain instant heals making it almost impossible to kill them...there are just to many inconsistencies with classes and skills that should be adjusted before group makeup is touched.
  17. This really does need to happen. I can't tell you how many times I have equipped a weapon and it just looked like total crap and then it becomes worthless since its equipped so I vendor it or give it to a companion.
  18. Instance player housing is always awesome and decorating can be fun but not necessary. I am all for more exploring on planets, the places are just to small. We go to a planet and see just a tiny portion of it and they want to release more and more planets which is crazy because they need to expand upon the ones they have already. Keep players going to current planets instead of creating waste lands that no one visits except alts you level. WoW did it right by having the raid entrances in different areas to keep you exploring. The fleet has become the new hub like Shattrath City or Dalaran or Stormwind City where everyone just hangs out except in TOR you access all raids from the fleet which removes exploration. I would have preferred the OP's entrances to be on planets instead of accessed on the fleet.
  19. People still haven't learned that having the most damage doesn't equate to being an MVP. Even having the most medals doesn't equate to that either. It really just is MFP, My Favorite Player. I play a shadow and I am in the top 3 of the chart 90% of the time and its only because I have a lot of medals. My damage is anywhere from 150-200k because I pick my fights but I tend to help players by guarding them or sneaking up behind an imp and attacking while they are trying to get a healer. If I wanted to go all out on damage I would get anywhere from 280-300k but that is nonstop fighting without picking fights.
  20. I still play my shadow and it was my 2nd toon. I switched from a vanguard to shadow when we had to many tanks and I am glad I did but I do find that I am to squishy at times. Generally though I play a hybrid spec and I pvp more than anything and its fun unless I lose 4 matches in a row to OP teams.
