  1. What? People pay for this content, every single person on these boards is paying money for this service, they have every right to voice their opinion and let the developers know that should this continue, they will no longer be paying for said service. The majority of players have planned their gameplay for the last fortnight around 5.2 launching tomorrow. Many players have been hoarding Unassambled Components, planning special Tyth raid nights or weeks, saving their rank 300 command crates for disintegrations etc. These people have spent time in a service that they payed for doing certain things that they would only be doing if 5.2 would launch tomorrow. They have a right, therefore, to know as soon as possible that this update won't launch on time. The fact of the matter is, Bioware will have known about these issues for a while. It is likely precisely why we didn't see in game footage of 5.2 during the last developer stream (which Musco admitted was due to technical issues). If they've known since then, the player base deserved a warning, and it received none. They were kept in the dark on the off chance that the Developer team could fix the problems in time and not have to deal with the backlash. Essentially, they did not trust the community to appreciate honesty, and a small "hey guys, this might not be going to plan but we're trying our best" warning. So now they tell us 10 hours before release, when most of Europe are going to or have gone to bed. Fun fact, most Europeans won't realise the update has been delayed until the time the update was supposed to be taking place. That's how bad Bioware's communication has been on this issue. If you think that's excusable then good for you, I'm sure they're loving people like you down in their office right now, you who try to convince them that lying to your consumers to save face is a perfectly acceptable thing. Don't however think your understanding makes you a better person than the countless individuals who understand and are exercising their right to complain, or that they are children for understanding that they do indeed have a say in this and deserve to be heard.
  2. I'd rather things done right than done fast, but this is pathetic. 10 hours before the patch, a handful of hours after floating about how your patch would be earlier than usual, you delay it by a week? Incredible. Not sure what I expected though, this seems par for the course these days. Great message to be sending to the people who'd planned to come back for this update, too.
  3. NGL I've been hit pretty hard with some IRL work, but I'm hoping we'll get this up in the next week.
  4. Pretty much The stricter rules came in because we've had numerous people attempt the cheat the system. Nothing wrong with it when they tried, but a lot of it was against the spirit of the Kaggath, prompting new rules...
  5. I think I might have a plan to accommodate that
  6. Aww, how long for? We might be able to help accomodate for that, since faction making is probably going to take a while, and we could make sure you weren't fighting in the first round? If that helps, I'm not sure how long you'll be out of commission
  7. It can be done with any number, to be honest. We had 10 teams last time, which led to a 3 faction battleground, but it worked quite well. Could do it with as few as 4 (Which I believe is what we've got already, despite not announcing it anywhere other than here) and could go with as many as 16...
  8. I guessed by the time stamp So, you in?
  9. Th... That's not the reply I was hoping for
  10. Ladies and Gentlemen, We are proud to announce that the fabled Kaggath tournament will be returning this spring! That's right, a fresh and renewed adaptation of the Kaggath Battlegrounds will be making their way to the ComicVine forums hopefully next week! The tournament will be hosted on ComicVine to allow a larger participation pool, as the forum is free and hosts many of the greatest Star Wars debaters. We haven't forgotten our roots though, and as a gesture to our home forums, we wanted to let you all know first! While we cannot give you an unfair advantage by releasing the faction template, those of you who participated in the original battlegrounds should have a good idea of what is to come. For those of you worried about time, know that the format of ComicVine debates lends to fewer but longer posts, and we are hoping to drastically cut down on the time these faction contests take. We've accommodated this even more with the changes we have made to the format. We hope to see many of you around when the tournament launches, and we'll make sure to link the signup thread down below when it's ready. Post up below if you're interested, we'd love to know how many of you are interested. If you have any questions that also aren't too specific, we'd love to see them too! — Sel, Aurbere and Beni
  11. Such a shame Well, if the only other person with a strong enough hard-on for Ahsoka to accept this, does, then I'll do this on comicvine. If not, I'll simply have to settle for thwarting you on KMC Although if you're looking for a more brief debate I'm more than happy to do that, I'm abroad at the moment anyway
  12. Aye, you do, but you can't help people seeing this as a concession when you're the one who made the thread. I simply moved it here for formatting. You seem perfectly happy debating it against low-level debaters and the mentally ill, like Syndicate, eyebrows must be raised when you won't get serious, sweetheart.
  13. Nah. I'll just chalk it up as a win for me and move on. You see, since it's not me you have to convince, you can't make the argument that I'm too "stubborn" on the Nexus debate. All you can really say is that you know you won't win said debate, ergo you'll lose this matchup. I'm not simply going to take a potentially weaker version of Shaak Ti just because you don't think you'll win with her in her most explored iteration. Though if you want TCW Shaak vs TCW Ahsoka I'll happily take that. Should be about as much of a slaughter as this thread was going to be anyway
  14. Well if you plan to contest it, it'll be an argument we'll have to have I'm afraid
  15. That would only make sense if you believed Shaak Ti would take an overwhelming majority in her Force Unleashed iteration. If you're happy to clarify that as being your view (despite indicating the contrary on KMC) then sure, I'll take RotS Ti
  16. Maybe a little different Oh, and the latter. I managed to get through one page before shutting my PC down and crying myself to sleep. Joking, but seriously, not my thing
  17. Who knows at this point, I feel like I need something a little more fresh to get me back into this
  18. Psst, Padster... Ima just leave this and this here... Stuff I haven't had time to add to my RT yet.
  19. I'm all for Legacy **** but damn, Zoltan's about to get slaughtered.
  20. When I stop crying that the last one got eaten up. Motivation is hard...
