Well I am done with Swtor for now as I resubbed when the Apac server was opened, made 8 characters but really wanted my 20+ characters from Satele Shan to be on my now local server. I used the 60 day Join The Fight Bundle which got me to around the 17th of January. But due to RL issues my sub lapsed & I resubbed when I noticed so now not eligible for the free transfers. I have been here since Beta & launch of the game, was fully subbed for 11+ years and getting a local server made me want to resub & play again. The restrictions to getting the free transfers is a slap in the face to Apac players & in doing this Swtor has lost a customer. I should NOT have to pay for the privilege of having my characters on my local server, is NOT going to happen. You would have gotten a monthly subscription out of me to be subbed & play on the low ping Apac server, but now you won't even get that. What makes it even more maddening is the rules for getting the free transfer being put in place after the time needed so players who were not subbed couldn't sub in time to get the offer. To add insult to injury last Wednesday they sent an email proclaiming the Apac server and how to transfer, we should have got that back in December. This is such a farce, surely it would have been better to allow Apac users the option that if you resubbed this month you could get the free transfers. Surely they would have bolstered the player numbers on the Apac server doing it this way. I also love the 2nd last line of the email... Welcome Home APAC players! A real welcome to us would have been free transfers for all APAC players for a limited time.

Allow people who bought the Collector's Edition to place the collectors edition vendor as a decoration in their homes....better than nothing.

In the Star Wars movies and lore they are Varactyl's...why in the video on the flash drives given out are they called veractyl's??? Is it a spelling mistake or are these different? It is a bit concerning if they the people running this game don't know how to spell creatures names correctly that inhabit this universe.

The Swtor dev's (if there are any left) need to go spend sometime at ArenaNet to see how those guys do things for their game and community. No subscription and a store with half of what Swtor has and yet they pump out content for their player base every 2 weeks. Holidays or something like April fools day...(laughably we got the opportunity to purchase our xmas fun off the Cartel Market...whose bright idea was that?) Guild Wars 2 players get events and mini games that rewarded their players with fun items. They put on their forums what looked like a joke for April Fools but wait, not only was it a cool joke on the forums but they again had great content in game for real. Halloween is another great event in Guild Wars 2...I mean the Rakghoul plague would be awesome for Halloween for our game. Really other games do a much better job at looking after their player base than this one...I am all for them making money but the line has to be drawn somewhere... Oh an ArenaNet are a lot more open as to what is upcoming with there game in the future...not all this cloak and dagger crap that EA/Bioware spins us with phrases like...." we can't tell you anything at the moment but believe me your going to love it...it's awesome".

In my collections it turned out to be on the 2nd page under titles but is miss-labelled Archon, but if you show items it is indeed the Revan's Heir title...hope that helps.

Instead of all you BioDrones coming in here and telling people it's their fault or that they aren't creative enough, how about you stop defending a company that spent more money on this MMO than most of the MMO's out there. I mean this is 2013 isn't it why can't they use a similar system that Cryptic uses to tie your name to your unique login name. So the game under the hood would have name@loginname problem solved and you just see the users name in game...I mean there are lot's of people in the world with the same name why not in game. This bad design we have in game now should be fixed NOT excused.

At 4:55pm they will post there was an unforseen problem, they will apologise and thank us for our understanding.

Well you are still subscribed and I would have to guess that you no longer play the game, I mean when would you find the time too? You spend your $14.99 a month posting on the forums, defending Bioware in every negative thread that appears on here and then multiple times per page, per thread...are you getting an undisclosed amount of Cartel Coins per forum post? Maybe you need to take a step back as well and just go back into the game and ignore the forums all together.

The best solution then would have been to delay the paid version of name changes as well until the bugs were ironed out of free subscriber token was worked out. Simple.

How much more patience do we have to show...how long till enough is enough? I am not even talking about the transfers or whatever being done here being put into action I am saying communication would go along way to garner at least some trust/respect for their community. They say they are damned if they do post and damned if they don't, yet I feel if they at least came into the thread and regularly acknowledged their players during this process it would go along way in at least making us feel like we are valuable subscribers instead of the red headed stepchildren we seem to be. I don't see how being ignored by the devs fosters any respect on either side of this issue.

You are an idiot then and completely missed the point of my post...I NEVER said it was bad practice for them to remove something that is bugged or glitched I said it was bad to remove the free one due to the glitch, BUT still go ahead with the paid one. Both should have been held off on till they fixed the free one. I am in NO way impatient for it as I am on an APAC server which is soon (well Biowares version of soon) to be shut down and we are getting a free transfer back to a west coast server. I will probably then loose all my 8 character names so one free one isn't really going to be any good for me. But keep defending all the indefensible things this company does...

How is it in any way shape or form good business sense to offer your subscribers a free item then pull it at the last minute because of an undisclosed "bug" but still put the paid version on the Cartel Market. This is going to bite them in the rear and the forums are going to blow up again when all the subscribers are eventually given the free one and many have already paid for it. Either because they were impatient or they did not know a free name change token was coming, not everyone comes on the forums, social media they just play the game. They should have held off putting the paid version on the Market till they worked out whatever the hell it is that is holding up the subscribers one. Yeah they definitely put subscribers first. Bioware continue to make bad decisions and miscommunications to their player base.

Can we please get this dance put in the game like the companion dance we have so my smuggler and Corso can hit the cantina's chasing the babes. The animations are already in the game.

Didn't they say before 2.1 dropped that server transfers would be "hot on the heals of 2.1 and before 2.2" I am sure of it. Also name changes will not be free??? what happened to the subscribers free name change that was delayed by a bug?? Is that not being given to us anymore??? What you have written there is very different to what we have been told.

Have done all that, the items light up as if they register but they don't officially get added then next time I log in they are all dull again. So that doesn't work for me.

I just want it known to any Bioware employee that the system is fundamentally broken. I know there is another thread but that has gone off on all sorts of tangents. How can I have 33% of the collector's edition...it isn't possible same with 67% of the Rise of the Hutt Cartel pre-order, I mean I either have it or I don't, and I definitely have them and the items. Same with other items including armours (which I have all the pieces) titles from Cartel packs as well such as the Test Centre ones...I have them and can use them but the collection interface knows nothing about them. These bugs need to be ironed out... This only gets compounded with the other quirks of the system that further complicate things such as having to equip items ect that are mentioned in the other thread.

You could bump it all you want...will not make any difference other than you maybe getting a forum infraction for bumping a post. They have ignored this thread for how many weeks/months now why would they reply it is obviously not important to them. Besides that, it is the weekend over there...they do not work weekends so it will be around Tuesday morning our time before any devs/community managers start posting again.
