  1. Was just running Black Talon flashpoint and noticed I was told to go to the Port Hanger and then I am directed Starboard... Yeah, probably not a big deal, but it kind of annoyed me. LOL
  2. This bug is annoying the hell out of me. Ashara will fight the entire combat swinging while out of range. Then when the combat is over she will warp to the location where she should have been fighting. *Edit* If I disable "threatening strike" she works fine. So I am guessing it is a bug with that special. Only problem is that I really like that attack. If I want to use it though, I have to do it manually. Knowing Bioware it will take them years to fix if they ever do at all. They still haven't fixed the visual bug that happens after you destroy a container and your weapon get's stuck out. Which has been in the game since the beginning as far as I know.
  3. Bioware should have made a check box to disable bitraider for this very reason.
  4. Yep. Just came back to try out the new content and discovered that this crap is still going on. Seriously, the last time I tried to came back and encountered this, I just shut the game off and didn't bother. Trying to decide now if it is really worth it to play this game. You would think Bioware would have added more playable species by now as well.
  5. Anyone else wish we could change our companions advanced class? I wish I could change Kira to a healing sage.
  6. I've encountered similar frustration playing a healing sage. I've had dps claim that we wiped because I wasn't healing them when I died because I was swamped with adds. People just often immediately cast blame at the healer or tank when it was actually their mistakes that caused the wipe.
  7. I understand that there is a lot of work involved. However, I think if additional playable species were made available in the C-Store, they would also sell well.
  8. This gear looks better than some of the gear already in the game.
  9. That's an old quote. They also said they had no intentions of going F2P. Things change.
  10. I don't know why everyone is talking about Origin competing with Steam. EA is selling their own products through their own online service. They are in effect cutting out the middle man by providing their own download service. I doubt they had any intentions of some how replacing Steam. It's probably more like they didn't want to give Steam a piece of the action.
  11. This. I run a GTX 460 and get around 100 fps at 1080 with many settings turned up. But, it's not just one component that makes your system. It's everything together. I have a 4.2 gig amd cpu, 8 gigs of ram, two WD black HD in raid 0 with a GTX 460. I would say my bottle neck is my hard drives. But I just wasn't willing to give up all the space for an SSD drive. My load times are definitely tolerable. In fact I've had people comment on how fast I switch characters and load back into the game.
  12. Don't make excuses for them. There are bugs in the game that have existed since beta. Not only are these not getting fixed, they are creating new bugs all the time. There seems to be more bugs now than there was at the end of beta.
  13. I agree 100%. Leave my viewing distance alone. I'm getting 100fps right now. Sure you can tune down the default setting, but don't lower it across the board. I agree. I agree with this as well. Ughh... While I do agree with this, I see little hope for their space game. It is a complete failure and I would rather they didn't touch it for now. Fix the rest of the game first and then give us decent space content similar to JTL at a later date after everything else is fixed. I say no to this. Leave the 10-49 alone and spend some time on the 50 bracket only. That is what should be perfected. See what I said above in regards to space content. I would like to see us be able to respec or change the advanced class of our NPC companions. That way we could have our favorite companion fill the roll that we want them to. I would like to see an option for the group finder that would let us queue for lower level flashpoints, but would downgrade our effective level to match the content. Sort of like how it works now with pvp. Then give us commendations for doing so. This would provide more people to group with at lower levels.
  14. Fixing bugs should be their highest priority. This game is getting more and more and they can't seem to get a handle on them.
  15. They've stated many things that have already changed. This game is obviously not doing well. People need to be a little more open minded. If everyone just keep regurgitating what they've heard Bioware say in the past it's not going to help. There is no reason why a non-basic speaking player character couldn't happen. The subtitles are already there and everything. SWG was a broken game. I played in beta all the way until the NGE. People keep saying that this isn't SWG. Well the funny thing is that this game has a lot of things in common with SWG. 1. Both games started with a bang and then fizzled out. SWTOR probably started with a bigger bang, but it's still fizzling like SWG did. 2. SWG had bugs that existed from beta all the way to the NGE that weren't fixed. SWTOR has bugs that have been around since beta and guess what? It's been a year. If I remember correctly, the NGE came out just about 1.5 years after the release of SWG. The difference is that SWG had a decent space game and SWG had a much more interesting selection of playable species. Bioware seems to be too stubborn to admit that there were things they should have done differently. SWTOR has 100% voice over. Which I do like but realistically I think about 90% of the playerbase space bars through it. So I'm thinking that it wasn't exactly a good investment. IMO Bioware would have been smarter to invest that money in other content like more playable species. Either way this game seems like a trip down memory lane. It's like SWG all over again because we have a company shoving out as much new content as they can, but not fixing what they already have (I actually think there may be more bugs now than there was at the end of open beta). I'm waiting to hear that they've been secretly working on a "new game experience" that will be stealth launched after everyone buys up this first expansion. In short... I agree with the OP. I would like to see a better space game as well as more playable species. But FIRST Bioware needs to get the current bugs under control.
  16. How many times have you tried clearing to a lock box (chest, whatever) and have someone walk up and loot it while you are fighting? I think each lock box should have a nearby NPC that owns it. If you attack this npc you not only own the npc, but you own it's corresponding lock box unless you are defeated by the NPC or the NPC resets and exits combat.
  17. I would think that after Bioware works out the whole unify armor color thing, putting in armor dyes wouldn't be too huge of a leap.
  18. I think it should play whatever song you have in mp3 format in the selected folder on your computer. Though, if you had friends on board they wouldn't be able to hear your custom songs...
  19. I'd like a seat (Other than the cockpit) that I could sit on. I would seriously pay $60 for an expansion like "Jump to Lightspeed" for SWTOR. But only if it was free flight and we could decorate our ships like we could in SWG. It was awesome standing in the ballroom of my luxury yacht looking out the windows and seeing my buddies fly past in their ships. That expansion was the best content that SOE has ever created.
  20. Actually... It's Coke drinkers that are bad. Anyone else wonder why this thread is in the suggestion forum? I'm thinking the OP must drink Coke. *Edit* Btw, in the past I've used both Vent and TS. I had good luck with both of them. I used to run a server for one and to be honest I think it was Vent... Had no problems with the server either. I'm about to try Mumble because I was in a PUG operation the other night and they were crying about people getting on Mumble. I basically refused because I didn't think it was necessary. In the end we got through the Op just fine without me being on Mumble. But, I am downloading it now so that I'll be ready in the future if someone wants me on it.
  21. I would very much like to see this. In fact... I would like to see it goes a step further and have a legacy cargo bay that is shared by all the characters of that legacy. That would rule!
  22. In my opinion there are far more interesting species that could be introduced than droids.
