  1. I have a Sith Assassin. With my stealth I get the jump all the time. However, some classes, they will still own me if I do not play right. It seems to me you had a guy in one of your games that was good and only made you angry. Get over it. I have a Trooper Commando and stealthy characters I laugh at (even though I have one).
  2. We have the same thing on our fleet >.>
  3. The defenders spawn right next to doors. Attackers have to walk. It makes sense that they do not have a barrier.

    Empire OP??

This. Whenever I am with my guild, if the PvP lag doesn't start up, we shred. Nuff said.

    Mvp

    +1 Commendation!

    Empire OP??

I am Republic. Only one game of Huttball won. Alderaan is a 1/3 chance of winning and Void Star is pretty even.

    Empire OP??

I am a Commando Gunnery. I have a knockback which Sorcs have. I have a CC (cryogrenade) which they have. They have whirlwind and I have this bolt which stops them but will stop due to damage. Where is my damaging slowing spell? I'm not complaining but that is my only complaint. Hypocritical I know. If anyone can link the Commando's I will be content. LVL 28 Commando Gunnery for those who need level. I can't complain though. My dps is through the roof
  8. Oh commendations. If you really do not have anything to do with them, start saving up for your next gear. Seriously. That is a very smart thing to do.

    Empire OP??

I play Republic. Yeah the Empire wins a lot but its either because there is better PvPers over there or enough Republic people suck. I win usually if I use teamwork, which is required in every warzone. The only thing I can agree with is the force lightning. Keep the damage, take out how it slows me. I have nothing like that except a CC, which they have as well.
  10. What do you mean marks?
  11. Depends on the side you roll. Imperial? Well yeah. Republic? No. It is always Republic vs. Empire which is dumb.

    PvP Strategies

Of course. If no one focuses on the people planting/defusing, then you will lose. Added.

    Smuggler PvP

See? All about how you feel you want to play.

    Smuggler PvP

I have read that Gunslinger does a massive amount of damage, but that is an opinion. It really does depend on your play style.
  15. I understand your pain. If three guys plan it right, you are done for without being able to move. Maybe a buff that prevents cc for 15 secs after getting out to prevent it? And then increase the cool down for the cc breaker so it cannot be abused?
  16. That sucks. Best thing to do is report him and hope he gets banned. He most likely will.

    PvP Strategies

After stumbling upon the forums of this here PvP, all I see is negativity. Of Course, BioWare has stated they will not use forum feedback as a source of what to do so I decided just to stick with what I have and make it work from there. Deal with the PvP that is in the game and devise a strategy around that and not try to worry about changing it. Now of course I will state, I have my own beefs with the PvP right now. Certain class skills and powers, ques, balance, etc., but this is not what this is here for. This is for all who understand that for the moment, a strategy for what is out needs to be devised. I personally love objective gametypes and every PvP gives me that, so I devised up some strategies. These strategies are not the best strategies out there. I am not saying you have to play by my ways nor am I forcing you to. I am just offering a suggestion. Alderaan This warzone has to be my favorite just because of how open it is. The startegies are endless here but I will name only two. Frontal Assault and Counterforce. Frontal Assault The main plan is to attack the main two objectives in front of a team, the middle and left turrets. The plan is to send six men up the middle to the most clogged area and two to the left. The two to the left should have sprint and the force run (whatever it is called) to get to the turret asap just in case the enemy tries to attack it first. The pros to a quick take of this system is the fact that those precious seconds could give you a quick but marginal lead and prevent the enemy from stalling you in the beginning. The six in the middle are at the moment killing off enemy players as fast as possible while trying to take the turret. The middle is the most important right now because both team may be trying to take it. Usually... This turret needs to be taken, the quicker the better. Once the turrets are in your possession, two men guard the left, five the middle, and one man up in between to switch off to assist both sides where needed. Optional: If heavy assault is met on both frontiers, take the right which may be unguarded. Will fend off some men from your turrets due to panic. Pros: Simple and effective Not much teamwork needed. Cons: A Counter Force will easily destroy this choice. Always remember that the objective is holding the turrets, not killing the enemy players. If you are being ganked by three men alone at your turret, stall them. Try to lengthen the time of your demise and their time of trying to take the turret. Trust me, every second is worth it. Also grab those red upgrade for precision. They help out a lot more than you think. Counter Force This tactic is powerful and takes a lot of communication and skill to keep it going. Instead of a team taking the middle, they instead send four to each side, or 3 to their left and five to overwhelm the right. Or maybe one up the middle to stall? The main picture is the disruption on the enemies main left turret. The objective here is to hold the outside turrets and not to worry about the middle one until it is unguarded. I personally still have never won against this tactic. Pros: Works very well. Overwhelms and can confuse a team. Can open up the middle. Cons: Hard to get it started with people who don't talk. Need a lot of teamwork. Again, the turrets are the main priority, not killing. Prevent the takeover at all costs. Even if that means your own life. Huttball The first of its kind, a game where soccer can be used with American Football goals and you can use your hands. Simple concept: Get the ball over the line. Harder Concept: Teamwork. This game is probably the most teamwork necessary warzone in the game. The teams that win are always en mass and throw the ball. The teams that stick alone and try to be heros, well don't and lose. The only strategy I can personally give is stick together at all costs. Use your knockbacks and CC's. Use the arena and what it holds. Also, communicate. Void Star Basic domination. Basically the same thing as Halo:Reach's, but Star Wars! Break through (or defend) the defenses and get to the datacore. The team that gets the farthest, wins! Simple no? This game is simple though and the strategies can be too! Just work together to devise a attack plan. Now no attack plan really can be pre-made here and used everytime because your attack determines all on the enemies defense! If we overload one side, will they follow suit or just stall us with a few men to guard each door? A couple tips though: Use your AoEs near the doors. Multiple people like to take them at the same time. It doesn't hurt to be precautious. Stall them at the bridge! Activating the bridges ARE an objective, even if the map doesn't say so. Use your knockback on the bridge. You slow down the enemy and might send them to their grave. Focus fire. You need to quickly and efficiently kill the other team to allow a plant/defuse. ((Dougan)) And at the end comes the MVP. A lot of people will pick the top guy (which is all just medals) or the one who healed the most. Who do I pick? The guy who has the most objective points, because in the end, that is who determines who wins. Hopefully you took something from this and I didn't waste your time. If you have your own strategy, please write it here. I will check back and add it in if it sound productive enough to create a win! Complexity is not an issue! Thanks. ~DarthNofu
  18. I play Republic. We have enough. But sadly it is always Republic vs. Empire... always.
  19. Some require I believe commendations that can be bought Warzone ones. Also boxes that give you a random amount of a certain commendation to use for stuff. I know that was very very broad but they are not as easy to get as the ones before.
  20. SO I have a Naga already so I do not plan on buying the SWTOR edition. I have no need for it. With no add-on folder, how do I make it work with SWTOR?
  21. You really do. I rolled on republic just for the trooper. I love that BFG and I love the damage. I love how many kills I get in PvP and how fast I can take down elites. What I do not love is the fact that it seems that 99.99% of the time, no one on the republic cares to work as a team. At least when I play (inb4 it is your fault). I realize that this game is not about who does the most dps but who plays as a better team. Which at the moment is the sith...always. Also, wasn't huttball supposed to be mixed teams? It is always Empire vs Republic! I'm confused.
  22. I am definitely not content at all, but I am patient. I just want in due to withdrawls. Nothing more.
