Playing the game via Steam. Keep getting the following message when the game crashes at the loading screen when you get off your ship at Balmorra (rep side): "This program encountered an internal error and will exit. Error code: C12 Failed to load room dat file [/world/areas/461168604018727001/hub_two.dat] Reason: Not found" Trying to do the quest "Gunfight in Gorinth Canyon." A smuggler companion quest. If that helps. Though I also dropped that quest and still couldn't load into the planet.

Several of the original introductions and departures are bugged or sloppy looking. The newer ones look great, like when you get off your ship on Manaan or the Fleet. But, for example, whenever my Sith Assassin leaves the fleet, he flies through a star destroyer and a planet every time. I would just like all of the arrival/departure scenes to be redone on the level of Manaan and the Fleet arrival.

If you think SW:ToR isn't an MMO.....I question your intelligence... But back to the OP. I have been kinda in the same boat. I played swg for the 3 years, then wow for 7, and I havent been able to look at wow since I got into the october Beta weekend. Like, I logged on once, wandered around Org while waiting on the 40 minute random dungeon que, then logged out after 10 minutes. I havent been able to play wow since. Its not even installed on my computer anymore. Now I am basically reaching the same wall with TOR. I have been spending time playing other games alot lately to try and keep it fresh and it seems to be helping. Oh...another thing to add to the 'TOR is not an MMO' crowd: The last year or so I could have logged onto WoW and pretty much have gotten all the gear I got, epics and all, without EVER talking to a single player. TOR at least I have to ask in general or guild for that kind of thing. Just sayin.

As I read this list it occured to me: SWTOR is still the smoothest mmo release ever. Even with this list. Although I personally havent experienced a single one on the list. The only bugs I have noticed, since I upgraded my computer a few weeks ago: When going to your ship from an orbital station, getting dced after clicking on the door Companions forgetting to activate their self buffs when they spawn That one bugged daily on Ilum ... Honestly can't think of anything else.

Its just for the pvp area. Which is fine imo. Half the time I am out there my companion doesn't spawn when I jump off my vehicle to attack someone anyway.

lol, saw this coming a year ago. It changes nothing. Only WoW can kill itself. I highly doubt another MMO will ever reach what WoW did, not even SWTOR as much as I love it. But yeah. By the end of 2012 WoW will be lucky to have 6m subs. Just sayin.

Dude I am sure if you look up on one of the rp pve servers you should be able to find some rping going on. The fleet and cantinas on various planets are where I suggest looking, though don't be suprised if there aren't many rping at first. They could still be leveling their toons. I don't mention rp pvp servers because those servers...Well...Rp never happens because people troll it, even though they rolled on the server because supposedly they have 'friends' on the server.

This is where I point out you havent paid a monthly fee yet. It is also where I point out they just got back working from the holidays so now they are fixing a bunch of crap they couldn't do while most of them spent time with their families over Christmas/new years...Or as some people call it, real life. So chill. Game is fine and playable and I am on a geniune garbage PC.

LOL. Holidays, brah. You honestly thought that a signifigant portion of the devs would be working? Why do you think the last patch was so lacking in fixes? I wouldn't bet on tuesdays patch to have alot either, but I could be pleasantly suprised. Betting the majority of big fixes start on the 11th.

They can still dismount you, just not as easily. Think at level 1 its like a 90% chance. level 2 is 50-75% and maybe level 3 is 100%. I cant say for sure on level 3 as I havent gotten it yet since my guy is flat broke lol. All I know is that with level 2 I can zip past mobs but about half the time I get shot off my bike.

Longest maitenance? Ever had to wait 12-15 hours for one of WoWs big patches? Long patches happen at launch of any mmo. Especially when company is new to them like BW and they aren't quite sure what to expect with their servers.

Welcome to every game worth playing for every platform (besides handhelds)that has been released since 2008. If you want me to make a list I would be more than welcome. However I will just point out how buggy Skyrim was when it launched and consider my point made
