Why are these threads made? Let me sum it up for you. People who like SWTOR/ "fanboys" : This game is amazing, and Bioware has made profit from this game, its amazing, it will stay here forever, this game had the most successful launch of any mmo to date. *post some random link from blog about how SWTOR has made 1billion dollars* People who like hate SWTOR/ "WoW people" : this game sucks, WoW is a lot better, this game is bleeding members, this game has lost Bioware/E.A millions of dollars the worst mmo ever, the worst launch ever, the worst gameplay/story/lvling experiencing ever, the majority of the people hate this game you loser fanboy *post some random link from a blog about how E.A/Bioware is losing money and SWTOR sucks* There.. no one has to read anymore on this thread. The facts are: No one knows but Bioware/E.A about the profits or subs in the game. I would assume E.A/Bioware have a 1 year plan to dump as much into this game as they can.. If 6 months down the road things are looking up or down.. the last 6 months will determine how they are to salvage this game (f2p) to make their loses not so drastic or make an expansion because the game is success. Everything else is assumptions, and opinions.

and the CE vendor is utterly crap. Seriously. Pilot's armor? That is the only thing in the C.E vendor. and oh and the VIP Speeder that is 1.5 million credits.

What is funny about all of this.. to me anyway.. is I see so many Light Sided Empire people.. because it "looks cool" but they don't have the....."guts" to be truly evil. Ha.

Its a bit unfair that the DDE buyers got all of the in-game content the C.E players got when they only had to pay what 80$? instead of 150?

A fanboy with blinders? because I see the game vastly improving and am willing support it? Who has the blinders on that can not see that this game is improving in the right direction and is unwilling to pay to play for content and wants everything right now? You've spent 74 dollars this game. You've gotten more than 200 hours of content.. and you want more for free? Really? Who has the blinders on? 7 years of wow x 14 dollars a month = 60 x 4 (for expansions) = 1500$ (roughly) and you want the same content of a 74 dollar game? Ever heard of you get what you pay for? Who has the blinders on that can not see that?

These threads crack me up. They really do. You want something for nothing. You dump 1500$ like you have with WoW (7 years x 14 a month + 60 x4 = 1500) this game will surpass everything you have ever played before. I promise you that. But you kids want everything right now. sayings is 2012. the logic is completely faulty. As long as this game keeps improving (and it has since release) I will sub. the minute it stops or they stop throwing patches or content. I'm gone. This game is good, not the best but good, this game has a lot of bugs but not game breaking. Game breaking to me, is when you can not play the game at all... or progress an any way. You can. this could be. in my server the most i've seen was 150 maybe? The only time I had an FPS issue is in EGA.. i think it was tython or the planet after that.. I think Coursant (sp) and literally like over 70 toons were in one spot..

Do why I do I get awesome FPS.. someone not as good as yours? I play on max settings? Its on your end. Check the drivers.. or something

i have a I7 860 GTX 460 8gb Ram and my FPS never drops below 50 in fleet. Your end.

People pay month to month.. to raid the same boss/mobs over and over and over again without end, without a story.. to get more gear, and have unlimited content (that they have to pay 60 dollars for) just to raid and raid and kill boss/mobs in a new setting? This is makes me very..very worried for the future of gaming period.. Hence Why the PC gaming really died out.. is because of this. Stories aren't profitable anymore.. Raiding and Boss fights are.. even skyrim. No attributes? No upping up a certain skill like Blade or Hand to Hand? No difference between classes? Games have gotten dumber and dumber thanks to this mentality of raiding/boss fights.

You want less single player? Ditch your companion... Then try to get to lvl 50 single player.. Yeah. Goodluck You see.. what you don't get.. is that your companion is like another player with you.. infact they count as a party member.. notice when you have a 4 person group your companion drops? The companion is there to use if you don't want to wait around for people.. which is awesome. Down the road when everyone is 50, and on their 2nd expansion.. someone new can pick up the game and catch up and not feel lost with 10 people in a planet. Like LOTRO: you got past Bree.. no one was there.. all of the other places were empty.. because everyone else was in the expansion. TL;DR Ditch your companion. Try single player.. Didn't Work? Have someone quest with you.

this coming from people who play 7 year old graphics that are horridly outdated.. and cartoonish.. yeah. this a real step down.

Nerd Alert: In the E-U one of the Jedi's did not have the power of Telekinesis (the power to move objects via the force) Honest though. Sentinels feel really squishy to be..at about lvl 28-30 around alderaan.

For everyone that says "this is a single player game" You play with your companions right? Then. Yes. It is a single player game. Do not summon your companion and then tell me you played all the way through to lvl 50 "single player" The intent of the companion is if you can't find someone doing that specific quest that you are doing.. to use your companion. And your companion are to craft. What revelation is this? Instead of a companion use other people? Did you notice your companion is really a party member? And they drop if you have 3-4 real people? So in reality you are playing co-op all the way through the story... try not summoning them.. and come back and whine about this game being single player... because you won't.

All these people with WoW blinders on. Truly I feel sorry that you are missing the excellent story, can not admit that the graphics are superior, and can not realize the gameplay is a lot better than WoW. Truly. I pitty you. And about Skyrim.. You are completely happy that you wasted 60$ for a lot of bugs.. but can not spend ant 15$ to help Bioware solve the bugs that "you claim are game breaking" but you will spend another 60 dollars on WoW expansion? or 60 dollars an equally buggy game as Skyrim? D3/GW2/etc (because there will be bugs in those too) These are the acts of insanity. Where do you live were 15$ = 60$? Not to mention you are getting far beyond the 40 hours of game play most of these games will have for 15$ Also not to mention: 60$ = 6 months of 40 hours (per month) of game play for SWTOR = to 6 games.

I am no longer angry at you WoWers. But rather sad. I really feel sorry for you, that you will never experience enjoyment of another game because WoW.. they have poisoned your mind. Warped your perception, and you truly have lost the since of what is good. WoW not only ruined the gaming industry for ever, it ruined people's lives. These are the same people who bought Skyrim. Praise it as the best game EVER!.. and don't mind the hundreds/thousands of bugs that game had on release.. and continues to have and will never be fixed now.. and are completely happy about it.. These are the people that refuse to re-sub for some minor bugs in SWTOR? (which I haven note experienced at all other than the LAZORS!) Really people? Really. Its my conclusion.. People are looking for every single reason to hate this game because they realize they have spent 1500$ on WoW and can never leave. That my friends I am sorry about, that WoW has entrapped you, and you feel you need to keep dumping money in the trash can and experience anything new in the world of MMO's Once you release yourself from the tyranny that is WoW you will be free my sons! Free to play MMO's and not have illusions that WoW is the best MMO ever, no longer will WoW set the bar.. (which is incredibly low). No longer will you have to stare at sub-par cartoon graphics that haven't been updated in 7 years and think they are the best ever. No longer will you have to have pandas. i can not wait.. when these people that aren't re-subbing.. come back crying about pandas. and SWTOR becomes a lot better. Now am I saying this is the best game EVER!.. eh. I enjoy it. I'm getting my monies worth.. 14 a month for me to be entertained sure. As long as they keep releasing bug fixes, and showing improvement I'll keep subbing. If people had the common sense, and would dump 1500$ into this game like WoW.. this game would be freaking amazing...but people fail to realize that.. and want their 60$ to equal the same amount of content as 1500$. These people will come back. After the pandas. I give it 6months.. and this game would far succeed WoW in every possible way.. I really do. its a shame that these people refuse to wait it out. WoW will bleed subs with the Pandas. and once these people realize that Blizz is more focused on the Asian Market than the U.S market.. then they will wake up.. Heck WoW has gone f2p (without the expansions)

I got an idea: I'm lvl 50 now, and I have all of the elite gear because I play way too much on this game and I think its way too easy.. so my solution is too make the game harder, make leveling harder, make it so there is less gear. /troll The only fair way would be to: delete all characters a clean wipe of everything.. everything starts fresh.. If bioware took that stance.. These threads would cease to be here...and people would be complaining that they aren't lvl 50 yet. I've been playing since day four of the EGA I have two chars one is 34 the other 27. I played for liek 8 hours a day for a week.. and since work started I've slowed down a lot. You guys play way too much.
