  1. It asked me for one time password. Played for a week. Then it asked again. Played for a week. Then it asked again. Played for a week. Then it asked again. You get what I mean? It's not every time I log in. It decides it needs to do the one time password every week or so.
  2. The one time password is for dummies (no pun intended). I've been hacked once in my lifetime in World of Warcraft because my wife thought an email sent to me banning me from the game was real. She clicked, and BOOOM SHAKALAKA!!! I was hacked. I know never to accept emails or click on links. Therefore I'm not worried about being hacked. I don't need security. I've been gaming all my life and only been hacked once by my wife who made that silly error. I can't keep getting this password thing. In conclusion, I will have to close my account until this is resolved.
  3. I can't count how many times I've done the one time password. It's getting annoying. I've done it a million times.
  4. I don't need to setup a secondary key or password. I just want to use my own password. I'm not stupid to click on links from emails that are not from the game. I don't have a VPN on my computer.
  5. If I have to log in and get the message that you sent me a one time password, I will deactivate my game. This is getting really stupid.
  6. I'm with you on this. I guess there's a reason why most classes have like Tank/DPS Tank/Healer Healer/DPS and so on. I play a Bounty Hunter and I have two options. Tank or DPS.
  7. Not once did I mention them being hard. They have more HP then the normal mobs and I find the down time quite annoying. They are very very easy to kill and require to no special techniques. Just annoyance!!
  8. Glad some people agree with me. Yes, most strong mobs take longer to kill then bosses which are elite. They're not hard at all. It's the time it takes to kill them that pushes me away from this game. Bioware really sucks at making an MMORPG.
  9. I'm dead serious! Every time I come across a "strong" mob I just get bored and annoyed and log out. I guess it's personal preference. This kind of stuff annoys me.
  10. Did I mention what my rotation is? Rail Shot Unload Explosive Dart Sonic Missile Grapple Rocket Punch Flame Burst Missile Blast Rapid Shots x 3 15 seconds later I repeat and the "strong" mob is dead after Missile Blast. ***!!! You have to be kidding me that it takes all those abilities and time to kill one guy and you have to face them all the time. I'm not a fan of downtime and that literally annoys me from leveling up.
  11. I'm gone after the free trial. I'm level 38 and I just can't stand the down time with "strong" mobs. The most annoying thing in the game is having to deal with "strong" mobs. That's the only reason why I'm not 50. Every time I have to kill a few of these suckers I want to log out and stare at the wall. I swear there is no point in "strong" mobs. Can't stand this game.
  12. Also if you noticed, damage on some abilities are instant. Regardless if there's an animation going on, once the ability is used the damage is hit and then the animation begins.
  13. That option is for the delay to queue an ability. Example: 0 - Click the ability twice and there is no delay between command in the queue. 0.5 - There is a 0.5 second delay in the queue for the next ability. Even at 0 there is delay and the combat system feels a bit sluggish. It's how the game was designed. Sounds confusing but that's the truth. There are also times where the ability get's cancelled for no reason. Again, it's how the game was designed. That option you speak of fixes nothing.
  14. I'm sorry but I don't have the time to sit there looking for a group. I think by introducing the LFG tool it made looking for groups a lot easier. There are times I've sat in LFG asking for a group and never got it the WHOLE DAY. So yea, this was a big step for blizzard and I think bioware should have it too. You sir have no clue what you're talking about.
  15. What the hell are you talking about?
  16. We're not here to compare the two games. We, the players and consumer want a product that is finished, fresh and new. With all the ideas added in WoW, there was nothing wrong for bioware to use those for TOR. 30 days are coming up, watch how the player base drops.
  17. You know what, STOP RIGHT THERE. I need you to stop. I'm not one to attack someone personally and you can report me if you want. You are being stupid about WoW's lore. The greatest story ever told in MMORPG history is warcraft. Go read the book on thrall's story. I don't like to read but the game made me actually want to read. I read his story and it was amazing. What illidan did and how the world fell apart. Man you are nuts. Just because you have chat bubbles to read and kill a few things here and there you complain? Let me educate you. In TOR, you are constantly killing things and most of them are silver heads aka strong mobs. You can't even ride on a path without having to dodge mobs. Every time you kill something you get a bonus mission pop up to kill 30 mobs. Please, break yourself really hard because you have no clue and you're just bashing blizzard and it's amazing title. TOR has a lot of potential but just like the OP said, they haven't innovated anything. Conan used cut scenes and where did that game go? Until I see something legit with TOR, it's just a rehash of wow 2004. In conclusion, there is more to this game that was not added because they focused on the voice acting. Why do you think they are saying "We will add this and add that and pvp for this and end game for that". Because they already have the idea, the design and concept for it. We are playing beta and pay to play a game that's not even close to being done. So please, just stop talking cause you know nothing and just want to troll. Bottom line, I hope this game succeeds and get's better. There's a reason why we are all here now.....to SUPPORT THEM. Until then, I'm done after the free period. The game IS JUST NOT FUN
  18. Don't waist your time. Those fanbois will defend this game to it's death because they hate blizzard for it's success. Wait till Diablo III comes out.
  19. Looking back at this game, it was the first ever Star Wars MMORGP and to be honest, I was amazed. To be living in a sandbox universe of Star Wars was breath taking. You always had that feeling you were in a real life world of Star wars. For some reason, I feel crammed in TOR. It doesn't feel the same without the sandbox. Knowing I have to ride a long time to get from one end of the planet to the other was way cool. Building your own city and booby trapping it and having epic battles. I'm really sad myself to see it go but I had quit ages ago since they screwed the game up. But....overall it was the best star wars experience I ever had. http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/pdf/SWGMB.pdf#toolbar=true&scrollbar=true
  20. Negative!!! You can solo champions 1 on 1 using a companion healer. Remember, companions are considered as one. Theoretically, me Powertech + companion healer = pretty much a level 35 elite. I've soloed champions, they are the guys with the gold and silver mix.
  21. We are not like elites. We are considered strong. If I'm level 35 and I'm fighting a level 35 elite, it will be more like a level 45. Without a companion healing, the 35 elite can kill you in a few shots. As for you, it would take you a long time to kill an elite. I don't like strong mobs. They are annoying with high HP and there's far too many of them that cause a lot of down time in leveling.
  22. On a quick note, you'll find a lot of "You must complete missions before you can do that.". Good luck with that. I'm in Quesh and there are so many missions I can't do because i have to complete other missions. It's quite ridiculous.
  23. @hobieone You are a smart man my friend. There was nothing like SWG when it first started. I remember the Rancor hunting and massive PVP in player created cities. I will never forget Sin City which was my town. Sandbox sometimes is the way to go. So many people are complaining about the zones. I understand it's Star Wars and looks beautiful but you feel boxed in. It doesn't give you that feeling as if the world is endless. From the deepest part of my heart I want to thank each and every one of you for not trolling and flaming my opinions. It's good to know there are people out there in the forums that can still chat with people on a professional level. Once again, this could have been one of the greatest MMORPG's of it's kind. Unfortunately, this is biowares first MMORPG and this was predicted. Safe Hunting!!!
  24. You are 100% correct. But....in WoTLK, it wasn't quite easy until they realized it after the launch. The best thing they did was removing elites in the world. Don't get me wrong, I want to like TOR but I feel they just messed the whole damn thing up and now they are scrambling to correct it. SWG"s NGE all over again. I think the name "Star Wars/Lucas Arts" is just bad luck.
