  1. it isnt specifically 49 to 50... it is a lot of things as people get their "definining" skills at higher levels you will get less and less and less competitive, then you hit 50 and you are undergeared as well. someone said it really good "A bad BH will beat a bad any other class (because of easy rotations), but the best of the bounty hunters will never compete with the best of the other classess" or something like that. Not that I care, 1v1 is for elitist jerks and instanced pvp makes baby jesus cry. This is not a pvp game, I would rather play an FPS at least i get more maps.

  3. good points, but as for unoad it is not a heat hog, due to it's cast time it vents heat (3 ticks) and if you crit and are specced right you will end an unload with lower heat than you started. it is the gem it is defined as... from parsing i find it to be 30-35% of all my damage now (parsing on the dummy around 1200 unbuffed) we are not a solo class, there is no argument from anyone that we are the worst 1v1 class but with only 4 maps to play over and over and over (and over) i would rather play BF3 fps than SWTOR pvp atm... at least they have more maps.
  4. while I agree PT pyro is probably the best BH matchup, rail spam is spaced 6 seconds appart now right? or did 1.2 not do what I thought?
  5. yes I am not in game at the moment and did not know that the "fix" was really a "break" because our OWN buffs also no longer apply. To any I have angered or offended I apologize.

  7. really? what were you doing stacking with 4 other BH's to exploit the super damage from 4 sets of debuffs? if you did any testing in a group where you were the only BH, or if you did any testing on the training dummies then those numbers are UNAFECTED this was a bug, and one that needed to be fixed "the sky is falling"

  9. I agree my rotation/priority has not changed, for the people mashing tracer missile it got more complicated... that is what i was speaking to... we are hitting harder so anyone thinking they are gimped needs to L2P ... I just hate L2P replies so i made the words all flowery...
  10. before 1.2 our merc was overhealing a LOT... now he has to work cooldowns into his rotation but he is still viable. No longer a god, but viable...
  11. yes we would like to open with 3 missiles but once interrupted all the other abilities are still there... you will have a delay around the lenght of a GCD for them to realize the cast didnt go off and then follow the rest of the rotation... people overvalue TM... it is our filler shot, and a debuff shot, it is not our damage shot.

  14. or maybe USE chafe flare ... the OP does not even mention it. i use it all the time and it works ... mind you the mob needs to be in the radius of chafe flare when you use it... stripped one of the new world bosses off the tank last night, he hit me once, i hit chafe flare and it was gone. fyi if there is an issue it is with taunts not dps... a taunt will force a target but it adds no threat so when the 6 seconds (or whatever) are up the mob turns back to the dps he was eating... silly system
  15. i only loose 1/3 of my targets from the knockback which is not "most" ... oh fyi it stops those little guys from attacking the tank giving the healers a moment to catch up if they remove it then the ability (in groups at 50) will be so gimp i may just take it off my bar. one of our ONLY abilities that give some kind of tactical advantage and people want it nerfed pfft
  16. Cure is instant cast and on a short cooldown, it also uses less heat than your dots... I lose some heat and if I follow with an ability that does not have a GCD i only loose as much dps as the time it takes to mash the button (and a slight animation lag) you sound genuine in your post or i would think you are trolling to misinform people. Cure during combat is pro not noob... you are in NO way better off not taking dots off you... now granted if your dot is doing 100/tick i wont cure it but if it is apreciable damage it should be cleared. personally the concept of animations holding up my abilities is beyond silly

Lesser of evils, turning off auto-tracking would make any dps not casting an instant completely useless in pvp the mechanic of this game is once you do not have LOS the cast is ENDED, so i cast you run through me and it ends, I cannot turn around while the cast goes on and get back in LOS, i have to start over the cast again... so melee just needs to run forward and backward 3M at a time to completely eliminate any chaneled/cast dps you obviously have no clue as to the mechanics of ranged and should really not speak in a ranged class forum unless you WANT to look like a tool
  18. pvp in this game is (and i am being generous) pathetic that being said my overall damage has gone UP in 1.2 not down, and all we really do is damage i now get 8 to 15 medals when i used to get 4 to 8 all in all not sure what i do different than you but i feel like an asset to the group now while before 1.2 i felt much gimpier

  21. so now you cant walk up to 5 mobs, hit one button and they all die while you giggle in your seat? it was totally OP, sorry but have to call it like it is... could they knock down not back, sure, could they increase the range just a hair? sure the reality is you have to pay closer attention to where you place it now, i normally get 3 of a 5 man group hit with every blast and one not hit at all... not bad at all.. *best foghorn leghorn immitation* I say I say you gotsts to use some skill Son!
  22. see I do not look at it as a nerf, i think on the fly thinking is fun, and my dps is overall higher overall both pve and pvp... we were made more difficult to play i agree, but my 3 year old nephew could have played us before the changes lol! we are stronger, but more complicated... women folk like that in a man more pew pew is a good thing
  23. more like 10% not half .... and oh fyi I stopped pvping for a few weeks before 1.2 because i was bored... went in after 1.2 and i am doing better than ever tbh... interrupts dont mean nearly as much when your dps is loaded out of TM and into 2 other skills and increased overall. if you are talking 1v1 then reroll, we are the worst 1v1 class.
