  1. Perhaps, it would have been better had BioWare just left the system in place and not inconvenienced players with another one of their mistakes. The 5.4 patch in August could have fixed the problem without jacking up yet another part of the game for players - what's one more month after years of having the broken system. Purchasing the CM crystals with actual (as in real life) cash makes this a priority for many people. Being facetious and condescending toward others who are (rightly or wrongly) upset or frustrated about this situation, which is one of countless other problems with this game, does not lend itself well to constructive discussions. I can definitely understand why people would be upset and frustrated with this situation. I find it irritating as crap that I had to craft crystals (ones that I didn't actually want in my LEGACY weapons) to compensate for poor decisions and actions from BioWare, again.
  2. So, the Devs don't want people playing Sages/Sorcs at all? I don't understand. The DPS specs suck, so healing was the only thing a Sage/Sorc could do. Now, they won't even be viable healers...I...wow....just, wow.
  3. Oh, great. Now my OCD is acting up, again. I can already feel the shakes coming on. Why, BW, why?! Why do this? I just don't understand it. Please put my achievement back as 100%. I really had to work for this one.
  4. A "proc" is basically a 'procedure' or 'process' that occurs when an ability or item (e.g., a relic) is triggered by a certain event or events that activate whatever it is supposed to do (i.e., increase stats like mastery, power, critical chance, etc.).
  5. There is the problem with "...just run the flashpoint in [solo Mode]" when not all flashpoints have a solo mode available. For whatever reason BW felt it necessary to have some flashpoints still require groups to complete it. So, if you have a player in the group that wants to watch the cutscenes, and it happens to be a flashpoint without a solo mode, then it seems a bit unfair - not to mention rude - to force that player to spacebar through them. As a longtime player who has run through every flashpoint many times, I get a bit annoyed with the person wanting to watch the cutscenes. But, I'm certainly not going to force that person to spacebar or vote kick them, if that person doesn't spacebar. I'll just watch them for the umpteenth time and move on, or just drop group and find another one.
  6. It would be a bit unusual for it to be mandatory before the xpac drops. Those that get Legend status after the xpac wouldn't get the same benefits for obtaining the same achievement. I very seriously doubt you'll need to complete everything before the xpac goes live.
  7. It is a little weird how the Devs are handling obtaining Nico. But, however you choose to recruit him in-game, being a subscriber during the time period specified, should be the only way to obtain him.
  8. Agreed. Just seems to be individual, pre-conceived bias about a system they haven't even tried, yet.
  9. Let's not be too hasty...I like having that option as part of opening a cantina pack.

  11. I got the Monolithic quest to work by relogging in the instance. I had to go to the doorway after relogging, then fight the Monolith. Once I did the first convo with Lana, the beast disappeared. Then, I went to the doorway again, relogged and the beast returned and finally finished the quest. I then got stuck in place after the last convo with Lana, and used the Shuttle Pass to leave. This was a frustrating quest to finish.
  12. Here's another code, just in case others are expiring: http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/7nq74
  13. These nerfs are total crap...I'm not even surviving like I did pre-1.3.
