  1. Should have put this fix on the cartel market. Would have made a killing.
  2. The issue is the Consular does the same thing on every planet in Act 1. Find Jedi Master - tell Him/Her they are sick and need help - They so no thanks - You fight and kill/heal them. At least in those other class arcs you mentioned (Have not played the Trooper all the way through yet, but the others I have) there is some variety in how the story plays out. Doesn't feel that way for the Consular.
  3. Hmm.. looks like EAware didn't hit their internal quota for Jan 7th pre-orders and dragged out some in-waiting cartel items to sweeten the pot.
  4. Lovely, more cryptic words and phrases. Does EAware take customer service classes from the CIA? Since this is based in the KOTOR timeline I'm just going to pretend I read this... *We are taking space missions off rails and will be adding new PvP and FP/Ops missions based on fleet battles and planetary attack/defense objectives. We are also excited to announce the legacy system will now allow you the option of recoloring/reshaping the outside and inside of your starship as well as naming it. Making it truely unique and yours. *8 new swoop racing tracks will be available on so and so planets. Visit your local swoop race promoter on the fleet, practice your technique and timing and when you are ready compete against friends and rivals alike for personal glory, rewards and titles! We will be having weekly ranked tournaments all leading up to an end of the "season" race between the best of the best for galactic bragging rights! Did we mention you can tweek and upgrade your swoop bike? *We are actually giving you a reason to visit your local cantina other than gaining rested XP. New Pazaak tables have opened up around the galaxy and a call has gone out to gamblers and card sharks alike to test their skill and luck at the table! Play against NPCs to learn your craft then test your new found skills against other players and enter tournaments for big credits, prizes and titles! Search the galaxy for that one card that will give you the edge! You never know if random thug #214 has that card you have been wanting until you kill him, right? And we wanted SGR options for companions, but, whatever.
  5. I play OP cause I like the stabby secret agent feel to it, the stealth mechanics and the ability to avoid needless trash and solo heroics due to stealth mode.
  6. Perhaps, I saw a lot of Aug 20+ say they got in on the last wave so hopefully...they go into mid-sept on the next wave.
  7. Looks like early Sept might get in on the next wave!
  8. @RockjawStephen Reid I will say - as I mentioned yesterday - that today the 'timeline' of people who get in will be much, much longer. Beyond July... A shred of hope?
  9. Sept 10th...on life support for invite today.
  10. Hopefully they get through August today...

I've personally participated in launches of 6 other MMO games, and there is nothing in those experiences that compares to how ridiculous this process is. When you are dealing with a pre-launch even that is only for pre-order customers, after an extensive and massive beta testing period that was a huge success according to nearly all sources involved - it begs the huge question as to what is the limiting factor in the way you have chosen to roll out this game. I personally participated in the beta in a very limited way (not by choice, mind you, I just wasn't lucky enough to get a key) and was only online during the big Thanksgiving weekend test. That test was wonderful - there were a huge number of servers, and a huge population of testers. The game performance was amazing. So, EA/BW - what exactly are you afraid of? The ONLY way this should have been done is to have given ALL pre-orders (perhaps separated only by level of game purchased - i.e. CE customers get 7 days, SE get 5, e.g.) access at exactly the same time. Of course it will overload the servers and queues would ensue and all that - but that's what we all expect. Making your customers wait unknowingly with no idea how long it will be or when to expect an email is just adding insult to injury. A poor alternative would have been to send out emails with a set time and day that your access would be available. I read in the top post how you are monitoring the server performance and are rolling waves based on server performance. Are you seriously saying you have to wonder at this point if your servers can perform up to the task - when you probably still have 90% of the launch day players yet to even be able to play? That is not at all a good message to be sending at the beginning of an MMO franchise. At any rate, I love this game. I love BW. But I truly despise and am sickened by the way you chose to put your customers through so much stress for absolutely no good or justifiable reason. I truly hope you improve, because this is a very very poor way to start out. --- /ironfist clap
  12. Claiming "lots of people" would get in today. Sending 5 waves..oh wait but one was a bonus! Stopping said waves at 1:30pm Not even getting all of the July pre-orders in on the first day Giving the sliver of players you let on today a huge level advantage Stay classy, BW /Ironfist clap

  14. It will be the second shift of nerd ragers when the first shift clock out.
  15. Not sure on the thought process behind this either. Stopping waves at 1:30pm is silly.
  16. Uh oh, last invite wave out for the day. Incoming massive nerd rage.
  17. More like they are running around the office screaming as servers burst into flames around them.
