This game is Reefer Madness.

I know modern MMO players are dumb as hell but I really think BW underestimated the brain activity going on in most people. I mean I was sick of these things in WoW where the game was actually polished and had a population, this game is just sad.

You're an MMO newb, you don't have standards.

They should have just made KOTOR 3 then. They stepped into the MMO market which means they stepped into the ring with WoW, Rift and every other MMO down the pipeline. The difference between TOR and those other MMO's is that people have fun doing challenging endgame content. Well designed content that isn't slapped together from just WoW with an ever worse implementation and then adding voices. The reason people have so many alts or 50's is because they are bored of the same lackluster content day in and day out. But then they get to 50 and say crap...and make another alt. Eventually people get sick of it. They'll go back to the other MMO's they had fun in. I just quit them, don't feel like paying subs anymore for games that continue to give me garbage.

Please reread I said I resubbed because I upgraded my computer. I wanted to see how much better of a performance I would get. I was satisfied with my results and then quit my sub. I played maybe 3 nights since I resubbed 2 weeks ago and I don't plan on playing much more. So saying that I have played the game and found I don't like it. A list is not a rant a list is a list, and that was a list of glaring problems with a game that's supposed to be made by some of the best in the business. Plus you're right about the CC I could turn it off but I don't really care because I just plow through **** anyway because I'm a sorc. But they also often tank mobs that are no threat to me or just brain fart out and stop doing anything altogether because the mob moved a little bit.

I think it's funny how many people seem to be bored or disappointed with this game. I was calling these same things before the game went live. I still bought it but that was because everyone at my work did and I wanted a new MMO to play even if it was lackluster. Like I said Companions are a TERRIBLE idea, they're dumb and break cc and other such crap and the exact reason I said they were so bad. PvP was an afterthought and Ilum...are you kidding me? PvE is the same as WoW literally same spells and class models. I hate RP, but without mods the RP community is still not happy. Story is good for single player experiences, not group experiences. The group makes the dialogue so story really is only good if it flows naturally (see GW2 (oh no flames!)) The only reason I resubbed was because I upgraded my computer and wanted to see how well it runs. Looks like F2P is coming I don't see how they can compete when the real next gen MMO's come out.

Total laziness on Bioware's part. There is no excuse for such huge clipping issues. Right from the very opening scene the training sword clips through the lekku. Players shouldn't be punished on the way their gear looks because they can't figure out how to make the lekku drape in front versus the back.

It's my resolution on my television. I play on a 33 inch HD and I had a fix for it which was easy and worked like a charm. Ever since 1.1 hit my resolution is too high again and now the fix I was using does not work. I have asked on the forums and I am not the only one having this problem. The game was alright so I don't really mind unsubbing. They could have done a lot of things so much better.

I completely hate WoW but I actually agree here. I was 1 hour late canceling my sub so now I have to pay $15 for a game I cannot even start ever since 1.1 came out let alone get anything for that money. Would have been more fun to throw it in the trash myself.

Well nothing seems to work so yeah goodbye SWTOR, could have been a better ride honestly.

It's not my card. The game has worked fine for the past month now it just won't load with my tv and the old fix I was using does not work anymore. The Client.ini is the client defaults I was talking about and it actually is different because now it reads.... "//--------------------------------------------------------------------------// // WARNING: ** DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE ** // // Making any changes to this document will result in the corruption of // // your install and will require the use of the repair utility. // //--------------------------------------------------------------------------//" So they definitely changed something..

Looks like it might be about that time to cancel my sub....

It's a couple years old now and I don't really know how to check that, it is a 33 inch 1080p HD but that's about all I know.
