  1. That is excatly what I was saying earlier. You are just screwed. That happen to me on my commando on Tarvis's ship the class quest. Lol
  2. I really think they are going to loose alot this month. The late patch 1.2 and the changes to class mechanics. They may not loose new people just those that have 50s and are bored.
  3. Lol and probably the highest drop off rate in history as well. Lol
  4. Well for those of us that did not stand around hitting target dummies all day yes. Those that actually raided past greenscales. You cannot even for a second compare this games laughable end game content with rifts. Don't even try.
  5. I partially agree with you. Spock said it well "The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or..*aaahhhh* the one". I think they fell on thier swords on end game PVE content and they need more PVP zones and some more dailes...space missions etc... I mean really who would not want to charter on an republic feet battleship and man that mini gun and shoot down dudes as you charter some special agent on board the vessel. Something like a group daily. I always liked the idea of buying goods from one planet and selling them on another for profit...and having random pirates or neutrals try to kill you...i.e. fail the mission. So much good stuff they could do with existing game mechanics.
  6. Actually there are a few quests like the bonus mission ones on say your class quests that I know were bugged and you could not abandon them or redo them.
  7. LOL they said they fixed that quite a few times. Part of my quality time after 50 was spent going from planet to planet trying to do those quests that I could not drop once I left the various planets. I must say on my 3rd alt she is now able to drop quests or I am just getting used to ditching them prior to engaging in them to far. They did not lie...I am sure they probably did find several and fixed them. But in true Customer Support fashion early they just deleted the CSR tickets once they assumed they were going to fix that issue. *doh* "You moved the cemetery but you forgot to move the bodies!" So they probably did not have all the bugged ones anymore and guessed. LOL
  8. ConradLionheart I really hope you have fun leveling and getting up to the point where you are doing hard mode flash points etc... Enjoy those. Because the Normal mode operations are much easier then the hard mode flash points once you know the fights. The only problem I have with them is that the loot is "destined" or rolled out for your group by bioware. I can only assume they did this thinking a lot of "pugs" would eventually start running them and they did not want to be bothered with "Ninja looter" tickets. My beef is if you have a new guild...and you are trying to gear out people. Would it not be nice to be able to at least pass on gear you don't need? LOL My companions are in all columni and some Rakata gear. And it happens much faster then you would think. Yes we could do Nightmare et. al. but for what? Come 1.2 you get different gear for doing them etc...which would be nice
  9. In a word yes I did do that...but this game is not like that. I want to be clear. This game is fall on keyboard easy raiding. I don't even consider it raiding. I don't think they originally had intended this game to be a true PVE end game content game. The normal operations the 8 or even easier 16 man "raids" you can do with people in some greens. And they really are easy like say 45 mins easy. The Hard Mode Operations are a bit more challenging in fact some of the bosses are way out of proportion. It is like tossing a ping pong ball around then someone throws you a bowling ball. First time we hit KP hard mode we were like *** this makes no sense. Hard mode operations well KP is quite a bit more difficult then say EV hardmode. But yes we gear our people out very very quickly on one raid night I can recall we had a commando hit 50 like 20 mins earlier he got like 4 or 5 pieces of columi gear in 45 mins to an hour. My guild comes mostly from raiding in Rift. Now Rift raiding is pretty intense. So coming here we were like ummm... In this game there is no note taking ...no real worrying about strategies other then explaining for a few seconds not to do...and then its Ghost Buster model "Get em".
  10. LOL I played to much.... hours and hours a day. That will cause burnout. I am thinking I am more like the exception but in general once you get to 50 twice...or even once and you get in a decent guild. You blow content down in the two operations we have in a matter of weeks. You get your Rakata or even Columni gear "sorry republic" and woo hoo...zoom zoom.
  11. Nice BW will be nice change for sure. The new tier gear looks pretty awesome accept for my main 's class "Sage". I look like a serving wench. Who ever is designing the sage gear needs to back off the hookah. I was disappointed in the Legacy listings. There is nothing you can get with out not only grinding your levels out but also millions of credits. Which again leads to endless grinding. And what you get is stuff like " A mail box in your ship" REALLY? Because I want spend several hundred thousand credits on something I can get out of my ship and walk 20' to. I was hoping for legacy chest pieces "orange" or legacy colors "herald of a sorts". Or shoot bowling shirts with my family name on. One thing they need to fix A.S.A.P. is the repair costs in this game. If I am healing for a new tank and some new dps and I die a lot because I get to much threat or what ever I paying hundreds of thousands of credits to help people. It is way out of line. And DUAL spec already my god. Nothing more satisfying as to level your toon from 1 to 48 because the guild really needs that spec...and then you get 4 of that type in your guild at 50 already "/wrist". That alone had one of my guild mates quit the game. She did not have a ton of time to play so when she was finally almost there ...we got 3 more healers. LOL
  12. I really found Tera horrible. I was on an early beta like the first open beta weekend and it crashed all the time but the UI was pretty neat well organized. And so much information! The game play just seemed like every other korean MMO. "Hiiiiyyyyee yah!"..swing ..shoot ..biff "Hiaaaa yeah..." mob falls "ooohhohohh" *happy dance*. X 10,000 a level It was completely not what I had expected. I remember seeing early pre-beta movies and I was thinking ...is this the same game? Part of me still thinks perhaps it was not. I remember these cool instances with some guy narrating how the group had to solve puzzles etc.. This was like a bad version of Aion.
  13. LOL well I end up talking in vent all night because there is nothing to do and I find I just run around in circles or play dress up with my companions.
  14. Very nicely put And very thoughtful. Wow really 2 weeks that's awesome.
