With KOTFE doing well, we have seen a return of a few older faces and the inclusion of many new Defenders joining our ranks to raid and pvp with us. Things have been very smooth since the Xpac, and we even have a few off adventuring in the Wasteland of Fallout 4!

Managed to do the Heroic on the Star Fortress to get the Ithorian with just myself and companion heals, took a while and a couple of boss deaths. but i got there and got an award.

People prefer to play not to think With games like TOR where you can do things yourself to affect the level of challenge, most of the time people will not "gimp" themselves to have that challenge, but would rather take what they have and test it against another level

TBH I found the writing to be a step above what we have had, combined with the cut scenes and action. It was a major improvement to what already existed.

Considering they have future updates planned, and partly done It wont be closing any time soon, combine that with the massive Star wars the Force Awakens hype there will be a big push to have Star wars everything available

Forced Grouping never made an MMO Force anyone to do anything, and people will resist But MMOs have changed, and players have too MMO means massive multiplayer online, and yes there are still mass amount of people playing. But each player has the right to do what they want in game, just like you. Over the years more and more people have taken up MMOs, and with that we have seen a focus of those players more on solo play, a style very familiar to them from the gaming experience many brought with them from consoles, and PC games that were Multi Player focused. Whether their drive was intentional or not, they played solo, MMOs started catering to solo aspects, and people generally got used to it, the shift from extreme for the sake of extreme style of MMOs that were around in the late 90s and early 2000s was a different breed to the MMO that frequents the gamersphere today. MMOs went mainstream, and more players came with it, and with them came a new style A solo enabled player who wants to group sometimes, but mostly play the game, take on the challenges themselves and chat with thei in game friends Combine that with the non instant grouping when you need a group, ( not saying its a fault, or blaming TOR) people will often by pass group content rather then actively wait for people to come help. Take Heroic's At early levels, so many people, and so easy to get a group. there is little waiting Higher Levels, not as many people, longer to get a group, and people stop being interested. Plus most are focusing on the other parts of the game at that time, like leveling or class story at higher level planets Most seem to skip stuff that cant be solo'd or easily and quickly grouped/ Its with that i feel the attitude spills over else where, especially with dailies people just want to get them done. So waiting to group, or the preceived waiting to group isnt appealing. As PUGs have always had a bad reputation and when people see the invites go out they know its a gamble whether they get a good or a bad. Now you can easily counter this, run with friends. Run Buddies, Dailiy Dudes, Good people make these games great, and when they on on the same level as you. It makes it so much easier and better to do everything. In the end, You can only ask if people wanna join in. I dont find SWTOR community is always willing to do that, and thats fine and thats their right, people blank out during dailies just to get them done, others are multi tasking while doing dailies, others just like doing it solo Play your way, and have fun. But remember, just because you think people should be forced to play together, to group together doesnt mean its right Times have changed, we still play together, still interact. Just not all on the level you were after, But there are many who still do

My personal Opinion is that much of the original music in SWTOR is very forgettable, I dont notice it. There were no stand out pieces like there were in other games. Its not bad, but the music has been of a higher level all the time, and with SWTOR it seems very uninspired

After a long summer full of raiding and pvp, we have taken a bit of a break before we all return after KOTFE kicks off

I recall them talking about content plan for ten years at pre launch, This was during the period before beta really had started, where they had an outline for the game and the original dev team was still around and still had a positive outlook. Content and story was always pushed, and I believe that it was always the plan to continue onwards with class stories, as well as have things like Makeb/Revan Xpacs on top of that, So content, and themepark style content like makeb to keep players interested in other arcs. However this plan was all depending on the success of the game, and we all know how that went, and i am not unsure whether Makeb/Revan and KoTFE were all originally part of the plan outlined or not, I enjoy playing, and have hung around a long time, and feel SWTOR will fall into the "what if" category of MMORPGS, by that I mean people will always wonder how SWTOR would have turned out if it had been " a success WoW style" like it was being built up to be If that never was the plan to continue after Chapter 3, I would have liked to have seen class story carry on, as well as what we have with Makeb/Revan etc

I am not 100% sure on what spots may be free, as our raid teams can be very interchangeable at times, but on random raids we do try and include as many guildies as possible first to do the content. I know some have taken their usual post summer raid season break and will be back with KOTFE. Our pvp side of things is not as big but ObiCharlie heads up our pvp, and from time to time a few others join in. Had a few of us on Ilum over the weekend fighting for the Republic
