  1. I would edit this to say ...you should seriously start looking for a NEW GAME. EA does not care 1 single bit about players ability to find enjoyable PVP matches. They have ignored the call of solo Q'ers are are continually losing player base because of this. I am a strong PVP player but choose to solo Q. 80% or more of my WZs are completely lopsided. I probably win 40% or more but lopsided is not fun for either side.
  2. It is a bit funny to me that you would post this... There are only two people that I am 100% sure that they cheat. They are in the same guild. I know this because they were trying to scrape up enough people to do ranked WZs and invited me. I joined their voice chat and proceeded to hear one guy thank the other for helping him set up his hax. Don't remember the names as it was a while ago, but... I will never heal/buff/guard any one from THAT guild ever. Their reputation to me was killed that day.
  3. How many times have you died in a fight when only 1 button press away from winning? Imagine that you had a script running in the background that would automatically press that button for you? It is not about being unbeatable. It is not about being completely automated. It is about making any player have automated reactions that are faster than humanly possible. A bad player gets a small advantage but a good player gets a huge advantage in a competitive situation by pressing the exact button you need at the exact right time. It actually works better for the stronger players who are always on the edge when these instant decisions are needed. It is childish to use these cheats... but these MMOs are filled with childish people.

  7. I do NOT want a new colored outfit... I want fair and balanced PVP. EA is a total FAILURE if they can not deliver this.
  8. I think the level 50s will be gimped against level 51-54s. Remember that the new (cool) skills can be trained at level 51. These should either have been only trainable at 55 or the top bracket should be 51-55. Then also remember that the level 50s will no longer have max skills. ex: TD for my Merc now requires 36 points instead of 31. That only leave 5 points to benefit from cross tree skills. Except for the min/maxed gear that EA/BW claims will be bolstered out, current level 50s will be more like current level 45s in 2.0 Many people who do not buy the expansion will probably end up quitting after a short time. If I could pick the brackets I'd choose 10-34, 35-50 and 51-55. Then you let people start buying level 55 gear at level 51. The bolster system would help the 4 levels compete with 55s as they gear up.

  12. NO! THEY NEVER PLAN ON FIXING ANYTHING... Their metrics have shown that the people who pay them money are obsessive compulsive and thrive on inaccuracies and unbalanced situations. They believe that most payers would get bored and quit if they fixed everything. Either that or the designers are totally incompetent and need to get jobs at the Post Office.

  14. This is not going away... The rate at which people are quitting WZs is rising dramatically. The rate at which paying customers will leave will soon mirrow this trait. WZ PVP is not getting better... it is getting worse. Almost all PVP matches are now heavily lopsided. EA has failed
  15. Tell EA to allow PUG vs PUG PVP. Almost all quits are because of gross imbalance. People pay money to EA for a chance to play a fun game. EA has failed miserably at their responsibiltiy. This imbalance is getting worse and not better. I never used to quit WZs and now even I do. So fux all the people whining at the players... IT IS EAs dam fault!
  16. A lot of the people who I used to enjoy playing this game with and against have already quit. Some because of this PVP crap and some because there are simply more enjoyable options out there. Most of the people who prefer PUG don't read these forums. Heck, most of the poeple who play this game don't read these forums. This is going to happen whether you pre-made guys like it or not. Premades are chasing people away from this game. EA can only attrack new (F2P) fools to play an unbalanced game under unfair circumstances for so long. And most of those will eventually quit as well. Then EA will continue to bleed accounts until there are only those who form premades for PVP and those who only PVE left. If EA actually acts on our desires... the total subscriptions may actually go up some. Remember that total subscriptions are what EA uses to determine how much money they are willing to spend to update and debug this game. No one says that you should not be allowed to form groups for PVP. All we want is the option to play our version of PVP. If you can not let people believe and act differently than you do, then what does that say about you??? Deny us this and SWTOR will fail.
  17. You made me laugh... GJ. I have muliple toons. Some are in guilds because I was asked to join them. I play in both PVP and PVE aspects of this game. I have Q'ed with guildies and it is not a terrible thing to do. BUT, there needs to be an option for people who just want to PUG and not be at a disadvantage. I never said that I was not any good. In fact, It is the ignorance of those who made the assumption about me that is showing through. MANY people have posted here to ask EA for this option. I am not alone. What makes the premade peoples desire any more valid than mine???
  18. You are just silly. Can you not read... I do not want to play IN a premade. I said so above. I enjoy playing with and against different people all the time. There were a whole lot of people like me. Now there are fewer and soon will be none unless EA does something to keep us interested.
  19. EA needs to LISTEN to us... or LOSE us. I do not want to keep people who enjoy playing as a group from doing so. It is understandable that some people really like the social aspect of playing with the same people time after time after time. The whole ranked WZ platform is based on this. There needs to be an option for these guys to continue Qing for team based PVP. However, There are many people, like me, who just want to jump in and PVP with random people. I enjoy the constantly varried groupings and the different strategies that must be deployed based on who you have. EA has failed us miserably. We have asked nicely long enough and it is now time to DEMAND an option for us to play this game the way we want to. We pay just as much to play this game as the premade guys do and we no longer want to play this game at a DISADVANTAGE. The premade guys get on vent, mumble or some other communication form and get to coordinate better. THAT GIVES THEM AN ADVANTAGE. I do not want to hear any arguments that it doesn't give them one because you would just be silly. I also do NOT want to hear anyone say that I CAN do that as well. I do NOT want to play in a premade group. I am not sure how many people have quit this game because they were tired of getting rolled by premade groups but it is more than EA wants to admitt. The thought that they would some day give us the option of playing the way we want is fading. We no longer BELIEVE that you LOSERS at EA who decide the future of this game care about us. More people will quit because of this ignorance by the developers. This will be a trickle over time and will continue to go unreported UNLESS we stand together. The people who are still here obviously want to stay in this game but we NEED to be heard. My proposal is to set a date long enough in the future that EA has to time to incorporate a premade-free PVP option but not so far out that we lose determination. My date is "Independence Day". If EA does not give us what we want by July 4th... we should all cancel our accounts.
  20. Definitely NOT fixed. I get stuck in combat sometimes with my other classes as well but more so on my Op with the second most times on my pyro Merc. I also get back to respawn area with negative affects still on me sometimes. How annoying is it to die and respawn only to have to cleanse/heal before you can get going again. I think it is a combination of lag dropping notification and DoTs. Either way it just shows how incompetent these guys are.

  22. I do well on my Merc. So well in fact that many people hate me. Many melee classes have told me that I am the best Merc they have faced. It has full EWH gear and I've played up to 100 Valor. My VG has worse equipment but outperforms my Merc by a large margin. I do more damage and have much more control over a fight. Both Pyro equivalent.

    Resolve

    I am not sure how resolve works anymore because I have not read up on the changes but: The actual resolve gained SHOULD be based on the time and affect that your character is under. It should not be based on what other people throw at you. It does not matter to me if I was hit with a stun or a mez. If I can not move of perform any actions, It is the same to me. Any changed resolve system needs to function as below but not make lag worse or it doesn't matter. So if you are stunned for 3 seconds you should build 3z amount of resolve. If you are hit with a 6 second mez and take its full effect, You should get 6z amount of resolve. If however, You are hit with a 6 second mez and it is popped after 3 seconds, You should only get 3z amount of resolve. The amount of resolve gained for a 6 second slow should be 6v, 6w or 6x depending on how drastic the slow was. Say 30% reduction is v, 50% is w, 70% is x and a root would be y. Those variables should add to your resolve on a per second basis at the rate of the slow that impacted you. If you cleans or purge the slow, you should only get the resolve that you suffered through. A knockback or unfriendly pull should have a 1 time charge applied instantly. The short KB that was available from Rocket Punch should only build about as much as like 2 seconds worth of a 30% slow or 2v. The medium KB like Jet Boost should build 2w. The long KB like the warriors push should build 2x. All unfriendly pulls should build 2y. Any restriction added to these should also accrue resolve per second of effect. Knockdowns that keep you from performing any actions for a period of time should be treated as stuns and mezzes. For multiple actions you should gain resolve for the worst restriction you have. Say you were hit with a 6 second 30% slow and after 2 seconds with a 3 second stun. You should suffer 2 seconds of 30% slow, then 3 seconds of stun and then finish the last 1 second of 30% slow. So you should gain 2v + 3z + 1v of resolve. If you are hit with a medium KB that has a 2 second root attached to it, You should get 2w + 2y. If you are hit with a 3 second stun and after 2 seconds are hit with another 3 second stun, You should be stunned for 5 seconds and get 5z resolve. You will, of course, use your break as soon as you hit full resolve still like a good player should. The resolve accumulated would be higher based on the variables above so that v < w < x < y < z. Maybe something like 20, 40, 60, 100 and 150 but could be weighted one way or the other. A full resolve bar should matter more than it does now. Either make full resolve more effective by making it last longer or by having it limit affects. Say double the time white bar is currently active and make anything greater than 50% white bar give immunity but anything between 50% white bar and 0% makes effects last shorter. So at 40% white resolve bar you can still be stunned but the duration is effectively cut by 80%. At 25% white bar, any affect you get would be reduced by half. Accumulated resolve should also wear off at a slower rate than it does now. Or at least wear of at a variable rate like the higher resolve you have the quicker is diminishes. So at almost full resolve, your accumulated resolve diminishes at the current rate. But at half accumulated resolve it diminishes at half the current rate. That way you rapidly lose almost full resolve but keep at least some of the accumulated resolve for quite some time. Then lower ttk a bit and send me some Jim Beam and it may work out???
