The Balmorran Hand Cannon Aurek can be dual wielded, I use them on my Gunslinger. Only issue with those is that the light battery, or whatever it is on the side, clips through your hand when at rest and the other disappears into your leg I have no interest in PVP and don't do it, so the flashing lights are fine for me.

Someone seems to have forgotten the price. It's $9.99 for this expansion. As a comparison, $9.99 in most F2P won't even buy you a new mount or a bikini. A planet of content, 5 levels and a new skill seems pretty good to me.

That would be Guild Wars. You can start a max level character for PVP right off the bat. Just because it's an MMO does not mean players always have to start at level one. Time to start thinking outside the box or just in a new direction.

I would suggest they start selling it as an unlock in the Cartel Market.. but nobody wants that because it would be claimed to be introducing 'pay to win'. So I won't mention it.

That's the type of thing I would actually like to see MORE of in games. Think how perfectly this would fit an Imperial Agent character acting as an under cover agent or doing espionage. Used to be a big thing in the old Star Wars Galaxies also. Since you could play both factions and talk to everyone, players used to infiltrate enemy guilds by having under cover characters in them. If the guild was planning on attacking one of the home guilds bases the under cover guy would tip them off so they could all be hiding inside the base when the attack came. Was some of the best times I've ever had in an MMO.

I don't see this as griefing but it should definitely flag the player doing it as pvp. They are intentionally engaging themselves in a battle involving an opposing faction player by helping an NPC that is under attack by one, therefore they have consented to pvp and should be flagged as such.

All I need is 24 character slots on the server I'm merging to, because that's how many characters I'm going to end up with on there unless they delete some.

The main peeve I have is losing all my Legacy levels and having to start them over again. Legacy does not transfer, at least it didn't when we transferred over to the Oceanic servers once they went live. So it's not just the lag increase.

It does look promising. I would like to see those seeker droids used for a change in crafting. Let players use them to dig/scan up buried treasure if you have Treasure Hunting as a crew skill

I'm actually fine with the merge as long as: 1) I get 24 character slots (since I already have chars on the server I'm merging to) 2) My legacy level for both servers is combined and not reset, since I have legacy on both the NA server and the Oceanic one. 3) If the above is not possible, then free char transfer to ANY server of our choosing for an unlimited amount of chars and... lets say... 5000 cartel coins as a refund for my lost 28 levels of Legacy.

So what is the word on character slots? I came from Harbinger when we were encouraged to re-roll on the new Oceanic servers. If I already have 12 of my characters on Harbinger do I get another 12 slots on there to accommodate all my Dalborra ones? Or am I going to have to choose which ones I have to delete?

Totally agree. If they are going to start restricting certain game play elements to packs only then there should be bigger incentives to subscribe in order to participate in those elements. Otherwise what is the point?

I agree. There isn't much in the way of FPs that are all that difficult. Everyone gets free hard mode gear on turning 50 now so the only reason a group would kick someone from a FP is: a) They know that they are actually the ones who suck so bad they need maximum geared people to help them out or: b) They think they are still playing WoW.

You do know you don't HAVE to buy them.. it's optional.

A 'classic' speeder bike mount. The same kind you ride on for the flight points. There was one you could get during an event, but it was all busted up. I would like to have a pristine version of that mount.

This. It's not that hard to make the credits you need to buy anything you want. Unless there are some ridiculous prices on your server. I have not purchased a single pack but am still riding around on a Dominator's Command Throne in my set of Classic Despot gear. As long as the items are tradeable it's a non-issue. If they ever make them not tradeable... that's when I will fully agree with the OP.

Disney owns the Star Wars licence. SWtoR uses that licence. Disney can decide to not sell use of the licence (not likely) once the current contract is up, or they can sell another term contract for the licence 'rental' to EA/Bioware. Alternatively, EA/Bioware can decide it's not worth paying to renew the licence and cancel the game. That is why SWG got shut down. SONY decided it wasn't worth paying to renew the licence given what the game was making. The F2P system will most likely save this game from that fate, judging by how much money people are throwing at BiowEAre on this pack mania. Too bad SONY is too dumb to think of such things.

It is getting annoying. They seem to be able to churn out CM stuff pretty quickly and yet we are still waiting for an addition to the CE vendor. Why couldn't one of those mounts just be put on there instead of in the packs... HMMMM ? Because they just don't give two rats about our support once they have our $150, that's why.
