  1. @ Rhodians as a voice acted race: Pretty sure they don't speak basic. Oota goota BW? so no worries there. But... Any word on more character slots??
  2. I play a commando, and for healing purposes I want to know if it's worth it to put 1 point into the gunnery tree in "Special Munitions" (2nd tier) for the extra 3% crit. Are the healing abilities of commando tech?
  3. Has a GM/CSR posted on this thread at all yet?
  4. I love logging into TOR knowing that I won't get pestered to buy credits Even if it happens I can report and take their 1 credit. That is enough for me... I'll play D3, but only as a change of pace from TOR
  5. Gaaaahhhh.... I'm at a dead end with Akaavi and Risha. It's at the point of the cat-fight with both of their conversations. I imagine my smuggler being the classic gigolo, not settling down. Now I don't know if you can. Seriously, what options are available?
  6. Thanks I noticed the difference after I made an alt on a regular server for the heck of it. I hadn't thought if Pazaak or Sabacc...
  7. A lot of people are going on about sub losses and what hasn't been fixed and whatnot. I personally have complaints as well but I wanted to put an idea out there. In my guild we have quite a few people that get on and like to run FPs, Ops and PvP. You know, the normal stuff. Then we geek out with our RP out. It's been about 6 months since the official launch and I haven't seen a noticeable drop on my server or even people complaining that they're rage quitting... or anything. We've all gotten to know each other g-kick trolls, and even then I don't see noticeable troll behavior. We like to RP and make our stories, so we're not really concerned AS MUCH as not RP players might be. (Though we also want the kinks worked out. Obviously not everyone has our interests other wise RP servers wouldn't be the minority, but I personally think that those of us who do RP stick around because the setting is really, truly nice. Our major complaints? the inability to "get drunk" or sit on chains/benches in the cantinas. Bioware, keep the faith, keep fixing stuff and give us our hangovers, chairs and gambling. (Pazaak/Sabacc chairs) Booze FTW,

  9. Agreed. I mean, getting "free" BoE stuff would be nice, but if there was a warning I wouldn't have done it to begin with and wouldn't have thought about it again.
  10. With BOE pieces that already have mods, armor plates, etc. slotted, is there a way that you can make it so that the Mods, Crystals, augments, armor plates, barrels, hilts etc DON'T say BoE? I recently removed a mod from a lvl 50 BoE pair of Heavy Armor Pants and it cost me 20K to do so. Thinking I could auction it or mail it to my Bounty hunter I paid it and the Pants and the mods became BoE. There is no warning. Please change the labeling or include in the warning notification that the items will become bound. Thank you for your consideration.
  11. I just have to say, the whole drunken get together mission you get in the trooper storyline (gotten in the mail) was frickin cool. Actually reminded me of some days I had in the Marine Corps. Good Job writers
  12. Desirable because unless you have more slots you can't take advantage of making characters that utilize the unlocked races. /signed and supported
  13. I totally support the OP. If you want to unlock all of the races with legacy, you have to play one of each, but then, assuming you have 8 lvl 50's) since legacy doesn't span servers you can't make that spiffy Chiss smuggler. 2 more character slots would make me happy, or possibly allowing certain elements of legacy to span servers. The ONLY thing I miss about WoW, at the time that I quit that is, was that you had 10 races, classes and slots. You could get everything... well, that and my murloc suit.
  14. I'm posting this in the hopes that a few people can type out what exactly it is the desire out of PvP. I'll start by saying this: ---I hated PvP in WoW, I don't know why but I love it in TOR. I don't know why. Maybe it's the pretty blaster bolts or the classic, well defined struggle of good vs. evil, but something really sucks me in. ---I get lost in healing, and it's fun. That's it. Pretty simple, but there are some people out there that have really specific things that they are looking for and I really want to know what they are. Can anyone enlighten me and the other uninformed folks that may read this? Best, Kheldarr
  15. I love it! Actually, I'm learning a lot just reading in this thread
  16. I tried looking it up, but the only example of parse/parsing/parser is in techno speak and not an actual definition. Could someone tell me what it is in laymans terms? >_<
  17. PvP was definitely more fun BEFORE 1.2...
  18. For anyone who is planning out both side of their server, this guide is a must have
  19. I agree. I remember from my time in the marine corps, the only time I really enjoyed simulated drills was when we were in a prefab town. Having structures, like the ones on balmorra, that have a ruined look to them would add some additional "atmosphere"
  20. Yeah, I can see that. But it wouldn't kill them to explain their line of reasoning.
  21. I don't remember any posts about that being their reasoning for this. Are you assuming or can you provide a link to that effect?
  22. I fail to see how it's our fault, especially since a lot of people, like me, had already ground out those merc comms before the patch was announced.
