How in the wide wide world of Star Wars are any of these skins remotely akin to the armor that Star Wars uses? I thought this was a Sci-Fi MMO, not a Fantasy. Back to the drawing boards. Easiest Armors: 1) They are realistic /possibly functional representations 2) They stick to the SW format 3) Do not resemble fantasy armor in anyway, shape or form. BW, honestly who are your worker monkies in the art department? Might as well just make up some version of armored kilts, and Roman Armor and call it day.

Not false, this was announced last year by the Community Leader of SWG, and was in several Gamer columns. SOE's contract was up for renewal in 2012, and LA wanted more than SOE was willing pay. And folks know that the game is dead. They aren't in denial, they are playing this game because its the only SW skinned game in town. And don't count Clone Wars as an MMO rofl. Too bad NBC/Universal squashed the folks who were creating an actual BSG MMO. The garbage they refer to as an MMO is just a FPS that looks like something from the early 90s.

Exactly. This game is more of a FPS game with a few, if any social elements thrown in. And folks seem to forget that the slogan for SWG was "The Adventure is Yours" . Basically the designers gave the player the tools they needed to come up with their own content. and for those with the imagination, they did just that. Unlike the gamers of today, who want everything spoonfed to them. imagine if they were dropped back in 80s and given a set of d&D books and rules, and say roll your toon, and let's go questing! their heads might explode trying to use their imaginations. While I did not in any way shape or form expect a SWG style MMO for TOR, I did expect to see tons of people everywhere I go, instead of the usual pack at Illum or the Fleet. Folks I used to play with quit the game bexcause they thought the game was dead due to not seeing another person on a planet for hours. Even on the worse of days in UO, or SWG, or even Earth and Beyond, you'd run into folks doing stuff. Not so here. TO BW, combine servers, and figure some way to collapse the heavily instanced zones. Then you'd have a game that would appeal to both sides of the coin.

This..the only reason you have a large percentage in a Q&A thread is that your band is organized and troll the thread every chance you get. So of course the percentage is going to be biased in your favor. Nothing wrong with that, you folks have apperantly organized and will continue to press your point until your receive closure. But to state that a large segment of the community considers this a hot topic issue is an overstatement. Kudos for the organization, perhaps other groups (spacers, crafters, PVP/PVERers) who have issues that they want addressed can model their campaign after yours.

This game drips pure awesomess. My computer has a gasim when I click play. And their CSRs are top notch. I mentioned I haven't had my breakfast yet, and the doorbell rang..it was a deliveryman with hot crossiants and a most excellent cappachino.

Honsestly why should you complain about a guild which you are not in , doing their own thing? Its their suscription, and if they got bored withthe PVE aspect, and just did WZ or whatever, so what?

All assumptions are false until they are proven not to be false. Exactly. Just slip in a class respec like SWG and like everyone else, make it a progressive credit sink. More times you change profession, the more it costs. For us "casual gamers", Really don't want to spend doing the grind eight different times to have different professions available to me. Gaming time is limited as it is with work, family, school, etc. Flame as you want, but facts are facts. A lot of folks who sub don't have the time to spend going through the grind yet again so they can play. Now if you do have the time, then my hats off to you. You win the internet.

Not if they queue as a group. Eventually you could see and entire guild in one WZ if done correctly.

Add more warzones to the three we have and the pool gets diluted so its not always a lopssided affair play balance wise. A lot of the problems is that we have lvl 50 players in the same wz as a lvl 10 and are gleefully ripping the crap out of them. That does not bde well for the new players coming into the game..it makes them want to avoid WZs , and possibly even cancel their subs.

Typical, just like not having the abilty to send your guild an email giving them info. And who designed these forums? My god, SWGs forums were so much better than this garbage. /ducks

Why do we even need maiboxes? Its completely stupid that in a technologically advanced siciety, that you'd have to go to a waystation just to read your mail is silly. If it was a package delivery service, then I'd understand, but cmon..how hard is creating a email iterface built into the UI? Click on envelope, read mail, send mail. Done. If its an item or cash, then get a message stating that you have a delivery..see shipping station (mailboxes) to pick up your goods. Problem solved.
