Have they changed this so you can flip out of the advanced class you chose into the other advacned class option? Example I'm a Mando, and want to change to Vanguard. Cant his be done? Or am I stuck rolling a new toon? Thanks

Well, its about time they added something interesting and mildly amusing to the game outside of the normal grindfest. If they could take a page from an old EA title, Earth and Beyond, and have advancing storyline based upon the actions of the factions, would make this game even mroe enjoyable. FOr the folks complaining, there are work arounds as stated in this thread.

They ought to allow folks to flip specs from Mando to Vanguard, with out having to roll yet another toon. Don't know what the heartburn is around allowing Class Respecs. Thsi can be another credit sink.

Not necesarrilly. You could have a cure failure rate based on how sick the patient is. When the cure is applied, one of three results: 1) Cures the patient. 2) Cure is ineffective. No change. 3) Cure rejected. Affliction acclerated by based on what stage the disease the player is in. Stage one: Speeds up disease by five minutes Stage two: Infection advances by ten minutes. If in final stage of infection..then player goes boom. 40 minutes to go from initial infection to exploding ooze is too long anyway. It shoudl be reduced to ten minutes total. After all, all it is is getting sick and spreading the love.

Agreed. don't unstand why they used such a crap engine that can;t handle the stress. Its like they set themselves up for failiure. Anyone in the MMO industry knows that you gotta have dang good engines to to do large scale pvp or you just asking for issues that we have now.

Yes, I'm taking damage a lot more, and my survuvabilty in game has decreased greatly. I also noticed that my health, which was at 17746 buffed is now 16800. Did they nerf endurance as well? At this point, one Mara jumps me and I'm dead in three hits. And I'm in full BM gear. Doesn't seem to be much point playing Commando now. These people seem to think that all of us wants to do is wield glowbats and go after each other that way. Not me, and if you playing trooper, you probably feel the same way. And you know they won't fix it in the foreseeable future. Sorry for the negative waves, but I don't mind balance passes, but nerfs just bite. Rather bring folks up to balance than tone it down. Otherwise you risk screwing up all classes eventually.

What is the point of the class symbols anyway? Looks like a bunch of useless crap they added. Is there an option in the settings to turn it off?

Always ignore the hype.. I know some people who saw the theatrics thought that was how the game actually looked ROFL. Then when they hit Beta, and found out that the true graphics were the same as about every other game, they tripped out.
