  1. Ah, we have so much in common. A quick question: are the carried crafts to be taken into consideration?
  2. Know the story of KOTOR? Want to laugh? Watch .
  3. Not to say that I'm with the OP (I'd be ok with any planet), but Dagobah being influenced by the Dark Side could be a reason for Imperial forces to investigate in search for strength (and the Republic could arrive to stop the Empire, by opposing it directly or by going against the natural evil present there). Anyhow, I am pretty sure the developers and writers already have the next few story arcs planned and aren't really in need of advice on the matter, at least for the short period. Well, Makeb was new. Though if we could transform that "new" into "not yet seen", I would agree.
  4. The difference is subtle, since that type of starships got its name from the first of the series (or vice-versa).
  5. Northern Italy, about 30 km south east of the Lake Region of Naboo (60 by taking the road).
  6. My bad, will blame the 30°C and the headache. Sorry:sul_embarrassed:
  7. CZ-198 Application - Droid Technician My name is Lurtz Valorum, Jedi Master among the Jedi Order. It is by the will of the Council, and by my request, that I am applying for the Droid Technician position on CZ-198: while it is unusual even among Force-sensitives, over the years I have developed a strong connection through the Force with my droid companions and with my starship's navigation computer, so much so that I have been able to enhance their performances, even though for a short period of time, by using the Force. With this application I aim at entering a work- and innovation-inspiring environment in which to better test my abilities, confront my ideas with others, and seek ways to improve droids permanently by the usage the Force. I also wish to specify that the Jedi Council has agreed with my request because they firmly believe that it could lead to an outstanding breathrough in the comprehension of the Force and while they know that my work within the Czerka family would be highly classified, they are willing to pay for information about progress in this area and to sign a non-disclosure agreement on your terms. Among my most impressive engineering and Force-enhancing feats there is the reconstruction of an HK-51 assassin droid, a lost marvel of yours, whose parts (chassis, power core, motivator, transistor, AI regulator, arm, loyalty chip and weapon) were damaged and scattered throughout the galaxy, and even though the complete reactivation took some time, once it was reached he himself said to be as efficient as the day he left the factory floor. Another accomplishment I am proud of occourred in the region of space designated as the Maw, in which a cluster of black holes forces ships going to the Colicoid prison planet of Kessel to take a detour, named Kessel Run, which cannot typically be completed in less than eighteen parsecs even by the fastest military starships: in spite of this, by using the Force to enhance the navicomputer of my Defender-class light corvette, I managed to complete the route in just over twelve parsecs. Lastly, the feat that made me a Jedi Master: the victory over the Sith Emperor. Not something achieved single-handedly, but with the help of my T7-O1 that I had personally modified before the challenge. {{The signature of the Jedi Concil members stand as proof of the claim}} My quest to defeat the Emperor started out as a mission to redeem him, to bring him to the Light Side, but the first attempt did not go as well as expected: on his space station my strike team was corrupted, twsited. It was there that I understood that success may not always come in the form we expect: therefore we must always, in the end, do whatever it takes to bring forth the greater agenda, to pave the way for the future, to achieve success. Only through that sacrifice did I gain the power to become the demise of the Emperor. As HK droids use to say, they are the weapons, not the wielders, and as I have written above, I know better than most Jedi that one must not pose moral questions when a greater agenda is to be reached. There is no emotion; there is no ignorance; there is no passion: the contingent morality of the individual is the first enemy of the Jedi Code. Instead, it is laws, rules and the knowledge of who stands higher up that should be followed. If the experiment is a droid, using my expertise and through the Force I would try, first of all, to attach to him a functioning restraining bolt; if no restraining bolt were nearby, I would try to detach the links between his power core or his AI core and the rest of his components. If the experiment is a creature, I would use the Force to try to calm him down. If none of the previous attempts worked, I would signal the problem to the security and to the collegue in charge of the experiment, in case he knew a way to solve the issue. If the collegue is not available or is trying to escape, I would inform the security of it. If the experiment could lead to a biological, chemical or nuclear disaster, I would inform security and let them decide how to act. Lastly, given my combat prowess, I would make myself explicitly available to the security team and act according to their instructions.
  8. What about the referrals themselves, will those be retroactive? I have referred a friend some months ago and he has't subscribed yet, but if he will do so after you've updated your system, will I be eligible for the new rewards or his old referral will not count? Thank you for the eventual clarification
  9. As Light Side, Sajar. Jedi Knight Act 2 spoilers: As Dark Side, either the Sith Emperor or Overseer Harkun. One for power, one for revenge
  10. If Bioware releases an operation in which a Boss favors melee and another Boss favors ranged, why get any Warrior/Knight at all, except as tanks, when you can get any other class and have them respec from being a melee to being a ranged? Also, being able to change advanced class would mean that almost every class doubles the amount of items they can potentially need: I'm afraid we'd have more frequent situations in which tanks and healers go with PuGs and need on DPS gear.
  11. So far, the Gree event is the only high level one that has occourred, with a minimum level limit of 45: both the Rakghoul event and the Grand Acquisition Race were available for the characters of the appropriate levels to be on Tatooine (about 25+) and Nar Shaddaa (about 17+) respectively and above.
  12. I hope that if they re-implement them, those of us who kept the original sets will at least get them unlocked in the Collections. I think that the easiest solution would be a mail sent to the owners of the original items containing the equivalent Cartel Market ones (much like they did when they added the Classic sets). Even though I'm really fond of having almost unique sets (just like I am fond of having almost unique mounts by having the Korrealis) I do understand what you others are asking, but I also hope that I won't be ignored just because of being part of the minority
  13. Yes. Also, after having unlocked an item or a set (meaning equipping the item or all the pieces of the set so that they become soulbound - a notification appears in chat when you've unlocked an item or a set), you can destroy it to save space and you can reclaim it (1) on the character you've unlocked it on, without paying the Collections price for that item or set and (2) on any other character on your account after paying the Collections price.
  14. Great screenshots; I'm particularly fond of the Dark Temple's. Did you take it on a "high level character", if you take my meaning? (avoiding spoilers: one never knows, with this influx of new players!) Or a better computer
  15. Well, this isn't a very serious "issue" (it actually made me chuckle), but the descriptions of the GSI Triangulation Enhancer Mark I and the GSI Triangulation Enhancer Mark II-Q state: "Only one Seeker Droid Triangulation Enchancer may be active at a time."
  16. It depends on how much time you spend on it and with how many characters. If you complete all the missions and Operation Boss (Xenoanalyst II) with about 3-4 characters you can get enough reputation items to get to Legend rank in about 5 days. If you only have one character, you may need to join the event twice or thrice (you'd need 2-3 weeks). Of course, a completely different matter is the acquisition of the reputation items, some of which (weapons and the vehicle) require a special currency you obtain from some of the missions and by killing the Xenoanalyst II: depending on how many of those you want to purchase, you'd have to play more or less.
  17. Well, I did a bit of research and it seems like the Traety of Coruscant defines the first main calendar we know, of so I assume no writer has come up with a calendar system to be used before then.
  18. The current in-game calendar is the Galactic Calendar which places year zero as the year of the signing of the Treaty of Corsucant and uses BTC (as Before Treaty of Coruscant) and ATC (as After Treaty of Coruscant). The treaty occourred in 3,653 BBY, whereas the events of the game took place about 10 years later, in 3,643 BBY which would be 10 ATC.
  19. I agree that while not gamebreaking, this issue is my top "wanted-fixed" at the moment, above any other commodity, customization option, usable chairs and chat bubbles. Now, I think the problem should be addressed separately for cloaks and for robes, because the issue itself seems to be approachable in various ways. These are the main two that I was thinking about: Cloaks could be made "hide-able while mounted" or "hide-able while mounted while on speeders through which they clip i.e. where the character is sitting" (showing the back of the chestpiece), either by default or through an option (as regard as the Cartel Market topic, I'd rather pay for this feature than not having it at all). Of course this option would only solve part of the problem (since it would only fix the robes) and while it seems to be the easier and faster to implement, I guess (there's a thousand things that could prove me wrong here) it would require more time than it took to make head slots hide-able (since BioWare would have to pick each chest piece with a hood and set up which part of the whole model gets hidden). The other option, which would fix cloaks and robes both, I think could be a modification of the physics or the way the animations work. It seems to me that such kind of physics are already implemented, for the hoods at least, on the character model (just try to spin while wearing a hood and you'll see what I mean) and it would be a matter of implementing them (I) for the robes too (in case they aren't already) and (II) onto each speeder. Not a meanial task considering just how robes and hoods would bend on the mounts and how they would do so diffrently on different mounts, which not only poses the question of how they should implement the feature but also of how they could do it without having everyone feel a significant fps drop (I'm pretty sure a feature of this kind could not be made optional, just like when we got the updated shadows, the old ones aren't available anymore). I apologize for any eventual grammatical error and for using the words hood and cloak a bit too much, but English is not my main tongue and it's 1AM over here.
  20. "In 2005 BioWare secured capital from the private equity fund Elevation Partners to establish a new studio dedicated to creating a full-fledged MMO." "BioWare reached out to LucasArts in 2006 with the idea of collaborating again, this time on a rich, story-driven MMO set in the Old Republic era." Quotes from "The Art And Making Of STAR WARS: The Old Republic".
  21. On top of what the others above me have said, it must be considered that the Gree Event happens with a story associated with it (the Grey Secant traveling and checking numerous worlds periodically) and, possibly more important, was designed so that it would encourage PvP and have group content, both of which result much easier to get into with more players, around and having events would make more people be there for the duration of the event itself rather than the number of people who would be there if it was always available.
