  1. Do note that the two Strike Fighters have different abilities in slot 1: the default ship allows you to switch between primary weapons while the one you unlock with Fleet Requisition lets you switch among your secondary weapons. (The Cartel Market Strike Fighter is like the default one, switching primary weapons).
  2. Giving that by "enemy pointers" I mean the red triangles that point in the direction of enemies off screen, I wonder why the symbol that points towards the targeted enemy when he is off screen (which is a red rhombus half full and half empty of color), though bigger, is much less bright than the aforementioned triangles. Personally, I find that if the rhombus is among a group of the triangles it gets overshadowed by them and becomes much harder to spot; in general I am also instinctively (and perhaps logically) tempted to follow the more colorful symbols. Lastly, I feel like the triangles are be a bit too bright on their own and having half a dozen of them on the screen swirling around can be confusionary at times. I would like to see the brightness of these symbols switched (or the option to do so through a toggle in case someone prefers things as they are) and I believe it would improve the Galactic Starfighter experience (certainly mine, possibly the one of other players too).
  3. My screen must be upside down! xD Also, isn't it a Republic ship in the first screenshot? Anyway, any interaction is a good interaction! Looking forward to see what people will submit!
  4. Well, the tooltips say "DPS" and I interpreted it as Damage per Second, maybe it is Damage per Semester Anyway, that damage doesn't take into account how much is absorbed by the enemy's armor.
  5. I think you have misinterpreted something: the 975 vs 848, 770 vs 787 and 624 vs 638 represent DPS, not damage per shot. In fact, unless I've misread them, in the tooltips we are never given the damage per shot, just the overall DPS.
  6. Well, if my math's right and if lines differ from copilot to copilot, you have 50 different announcer options.
  7. While I don't see how they could have implemented the possibility of using the mouse to click on abilities and maneuver the ship at the same time, you can rebind the keys however you want if you go to Options > Preferences > Starfighter Key Bindings > Weapons And Abilities.
  8. While I'd love it if progression was Legacy wide, they would need to create Legacy wide missions (or another solution along these lines) because otherwise yes, it would help blast through progression, being able to do the daily and weekly missions on multiple characters. On this train of thought, I don't think that simply increasing the experience, credits and requisition gained after a match could be an alternative to the daily and weekly missions since they also serve the purpose of motivanting people into playing this content regularly. Same thing about the Daily Bonus Requisition which, while giving an incentive on playing regularly, such inducement isn't as great as one that also rewards experience and credits.
  9. If you mean that you don't have the healing companion yet, don't worry about it: it'll probably be the next one to join Havoc Squad and it should happen very soon. Also, as a general suggestion, if you are planning on leveling up multiple characters try to complete all of the companions' missions: if you have enough Legacy buffs they can be noticeable even at the higher levels (not to mention the fact that up to around level 20, some companions can one-shot mobs)
  10. There is "report inappropriate player behavior", I'd suggest using that one. Don't worry, I know a little bit of how these things work, I'm not expecting anything anytime soon; rightfully so.
  11. I happened to be in both those games (I was the Merc healer. I guess you were the Sniper?) and can confirm both scenarios. I have filed a report namecalling the cheater and trying to be as detailed as possible, still...
  12. While it is indeed the planet Kuat, if it was Makeb it could have been called Kuat Mesas because on that region of the planet there was production of starships... Or because someone from Kuat owned the facility. It's just like the Corellian Sector on Nar Shaddaa... Or London Square in Miami, you get the idea.
  13. Checked positively on Human and Rattataki male characters with body type 2.
  14. For the same reason we don't have ships 100% like Star Destroyers Imperial class, armor 100% like clone and stormtrooper armor and lore sets that only appear later in time.
  15. Fear!? There is no emotion, there is peace. Fear of you? There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. Fear of how you would twist us? There is no passion, there is serenity. Fear of faltering during battle? There is no chaos, there is harmony. Fear of death? There is no death, there is the Force. The Jedi Code is not mere words, it is the way of the Force, it is the way to embrace its full potential. And mercy is not slavery: it is not a status; it is an opportunity. An opportunity to start over. And while the new path may seem restricted by rules, it is only by abiding to them that it is made possible to transcend. You may have spent centuries fearing a being more powerful than you, you may even have glimpsed his ultimate vision... And feared its consequences. Feared death. But the Emperor has been defeated. Not by an act of courage, but by a selfless sacrifice. And while my words could be appointed as a futile effort by you, it is to my fellow Republic citizens, to the oppressed Imperial slaves and to every independent people that I say: do not fear, for we stand on the high ground where the flood shall not harm us; do not fear, for we stand on the selfless sacrifices of the millions who work tirelessly to restore the freedom and the rights every being deserves to hold; do not fear, for it is the Dread Masters who fear; do not fear, for the Force is with us!
  16. I usually start by milking some Banthas, because when my Salky eats the best talent around, he gets thirsty. And you can never have enough of the blue stuff when feasting on victory.
  17. I am just as saddened because a video with voice chat not in English (for the non-English guilds) probably wouldn't be as compelling, assuming having the voice chat included in the video would help being picked. I also assume that there would be scheduling problems for people not living in the US.
  18. Ah, this remembered me of my first character I leveled up, a Paladin Tank back in 2008. I recall, at around level 40, dealing 5-10% damage per hit lol. Of course, things have gotten quicker since then... Ah, memories... Anyway, as others have suggested, in the Preferences > Controls options you can set the Ability Action Queue Window to 0. The game has it set on 0.5 as default mainly because in SWTOR the Global Cooldown is 1.5 seconds whereas in most MMOs it is just 1 second (which may also be one of the reasons the combat feels clunky to you). Another factor is the absence of the auto-attack which presence surely makes the combat feel faster in WoW. Purple text = semi-digression, feel free to skip it if you're not interested Both these differences were put in place, at least partially, because of the animations (BioWare probably felt that having them 1 second long would have made them look weird and that having an auto-attack which animation is interrupted each time you use a proper ability would have been annoying to see in itself). Personally, I'm completely in favor of the way BioWare has handled the matter, focusing on the value of the animations: in my opinion it is one of the best aspects of combat, and one of the reasons why it feels "heroic" (the term used to describe combat in SWTOR by marketing, back in the day), the other being the fact that you face multiple opponents most of the time, at least outside of operations. On top of the aforementioned reasons, having leveled up 11 characters using different specs each time, I can assure you that what you feel may very well depend on the class/spec you are using and on the level you are. For example, Sages and Sorcerers may feel slow against multiple targets until you get Quake or Force Storm, Scrapper Scoundrels and Concealment Operatives don't always feel fast until you get the "attack from behind while stealthed" ability (I don't recall its name right now), Marksmanship Snipers and Sharpshooter Gunslingers also could feel slow until you get Followthrough or Trickshot. One class that to me seemed very fast all the way through has been the Combat Sentinel (Carnage Marauder) since at level 21 you can get a passive speed buff of 15% with the Ataru Form and when you unlock it you also modify the Zen (Berserk) buff to give you 30% alacrity for the next 6 abilities. I've also never tried out Focus (Rage) specialized Knights (Warriors), but since they rely even more on burst damage they may be the droids you're looking for. Lastly, companions. Having all Legacy Presence buffs unlocked does help in making everything feel faster (at low levels, companions just oneshot almost everything) so if you have cap level characters and still have to complete the conversations with them that's a way of easing the leveling up of other toons. Also regarding companions: which ones are you using, do they always have the passive buff active and how well geared are they? I hope that I've been useful and that I didn't bore anyone with this my wall of text.
  19. The first droid of the series, the one which starts the chain, can be found on the Fleet itself. For the Republic Fleet it's in the GTN area if I recall correctly.
  20. About the PM you sent me... You know that ALT + Z hides/shows the UI whereas CTRL + U realoads it, right? It's much more handy to use the ALT + Z to take the screenshots By the way, I'll start getting mine done later today Edit: uploaded, though I've had issues with a couple of them and you may end up with duplicates. Also, I'd like if you could tell me if I can delete the screenshots as right now I'm keeping them, just in case you need me to reupload.
  21. I'd suggest you blot out the speeders that you get the images of from the first post, just to keep it clearer. Anyway, here's what I have: Adno Locust Adno Saberwasp Aratech Blur Aratech Ghost Aratech Red Spirit Exchange Bandit GSI EMP-Explorer Hotrigged Speeder Bike Korrealis Sovereign Praxon Bloodline Praxon Trackmaster Rendili Fireball Tirsa Prime (I guess I shouldn't consider it though) What is left: Avalanche Heavy Tank BH-7X Custom Hunter Helix Hyperpod Korrealis Prince Praxon Firaxa Tirsa Champion (are you sure this one exists at all? I've checked around and it seems to have never been actually implemented in the game) Titan 6 Containment Vehicle Ubrikkian War-rider
  22. There is an Alderaanian beast species, introduced for the first time by - and present only in - this game (meaning that there is no external reference we can rely on), which is indicated using two different names, either Iraida (starting with the letter i I) or Lraida (starting with the letter l L), in different instances. Most mobs, including the one that needs to be killed to obtain the Codex entry, are named Lraida. I suppose this to be a comprehensive list of such mobs. One mob is named Iraida Burrower (the only non-Lraida mob that I have noticed searching the internet) and is found in the Western Ice Shelf of Ilum during the Gree Event as the last enemy to kill for the missions Supplemental Research/Catalysis (Imperial/Republic versions respectively). These beasts have a cousin species named Bolraida, also introduced by SWTOR and present only here. The Codex entries for both the I/Lraida and the Bolraida name the I/Lraida as Iraida. Wookieepedia names them Iraida (so if any editor of Wookieepedia is reading this, be warned that the name of the species may change!).
  23. The Kurtob Alliance Speeder will be obtainable in the future too, according to what was said during the announcement of the refer-a-friend update. Anyway, I've been playing since pre-launch (since the open beta on the 20th or so of November, actually) and being an achiever, completionist, myself I've also tried to get a 100%. I had even organised the family holiday last year to make us pass by Cologne to get to the SWTOR booth during GamesCom and get a Taun Fawn code (and enjoy the convention, of course). Still, I miss things like the pets for the cartel coin cards, those for playing other F2P EA games (which required you to already be playing them before creating the SWTOR account) or the Razer color crystal. Not much we can do about it but hope for something like this: Lastly, I'd like to add that Achievements and Collections should wait in queue behind the Codex to get some bug fixes and improvements.
  24. Well, it's summer, and at least where I live many people are going on holiday in this period, so if you have a week on the seaside, a week at home and another two weeks "wherever you want to go on holiday", these passes can become useful if you want to drop the sub for the month but still have access to the end game during that week you're home. Of course, by my example you'd need only one pass per type and you'd be good, but if you know you'll be in the same situation in the future because of other holidays or whatever, now you can stock up on the passes.
  25. I mean that, for example, the Executor brought along 144 starfighters and a lot of other vessels. Do we count them increasing the "power" of the ship? (I'd say yes, given that someone's already considered the crew and rations - for example - but then some ships could fall behind because they don't have such specifications)
