I believe there is precedent with LOTRO. They began catering to solo and pretty much dropped raid development. I could be mistaken, but I believe this is the case.

Well it can't be an MMO, that doesn't exist. I think you mean MMORPG or sub RPG. It's an MMORPG. Still has Ops, PVP, GSF, Conquest, World Events, FPs, Rep Grinds, Seeker Droid loot hunts, Player Housing, etc....

*raises hand* I know! I know! Because, for the longest time Western RPG's were opting to run or continue their IP's as MMORPGs. This left RPG solo players in a lurch as their solo Western RPG options slimmed. This situation basically foisted Solo RPG players and MMO players that could care less about the RPG side together. Of course, there are some that enjoy both aspects, yay us. Luckily that trend is changing with a slew of good Western RPG's releasing out there as solo experiences as the MMORPG genre begins to sag and the MOBA rises.

You're confusing tabletop and LARP-ing with video games. Most RPG gamers don't RP. A lot do, most don't. Diablo is a Action RPG....let me know how much RP you find in that game.
