  1. If you knew it was a problem as soon as you started it, you should of reported it to Eric on the first attempt and put a ticket in with CS about it. Did you do this? If not, why not?
  2. I don't pay attention to PTS, as i said i'll take your word for it. I know enough not to say things i don't know anything about. Still it seems like a fluid situation from what you described, guess we will see what happens in the next PTS, assuming that is the case.
  3. ironically you are right, it is something worth posting as spam if you are that type of person. *Shrugs* Anyway, i'm hardly known to be a ray of sunshine myself, with all that caffine imbalancing going on, i'm usually unstable on these forums as i don't think, i just act. Never-the-less i'm in the middle of a happy phase, i'm not sure how long it would last, so have a great day on swtor.
  4. What about Koth, Senya and Arcann? It seems more like a confirmation than anything that the alliance is going away and your main allies are on one ship feeding you information and intelligence, no longer concerned are they by their previous affiliations and possibly more dialogue, with 1 on 1 chats like in Vanilla companion storylines. I mean you get to know of Lana and Theron on a professional level, but even during romanctic interactions, there isn't a lot of getting to know someone on a personal level other than one or two lines, but having them on your ship offers the chance of extended dialogue and it would be great to have that for Koth, Arcann and Senya as well, learning more about them outside of a disaster and on a more friendly level. Still it could also mean that these characters have been relegated to a secondary role like a lot of companions would of, eventually ending on a specific note and nothing more after that. I'd imagine keeping Troy Baker and Lydia Leonard onboard would of gotten expensive over time.
  5. You'll get the same answer i'm gonna tell you as you'd get on answers ea in the swtor tech forum. Account issues can only be resolved by phoning customer support because it is a security matter. so if you have a password or an email needing to be changed but don't know the old one for example, it is your only recourse. As long as you have all your security answers and what not, you'll be good to go as they will ask you those in order to confirm you are the account holder.
  6. A leader needs to know their own strengths and weaknesses and one who ignores theirs is always going to be defeated because they refuse to take responsibility to see it. be it overconfidence or simply because they were too trusting which are both on the same side of the same coin: a lack of concern. Palpantine didn't heed enough caution and paid for it where he was blind. so we are arguing about the same thing and agree that he didn't heed enough caution towards his own weaknesses. With that stated i'm gonna shut this down and let the other posters get this thread back on track.
  7. * * it has been almost half a year since and i wonder if there is any word from the developers of any changes to the rak event around this symbiote thing?
  8. i'm pretty sure there are cheap least rare things that are rare to find anywhere these days and will likely sell for a mint, never mind melting it down into an ocean of liquid happiness.
  9. Like politicians, they say one thing and mean something else entirely . Will i expect a straight "yes" or "no" answer if i ask if this game is infact CPU limited? i 'm not looking for an explaination, just a simple dispassionate bottom line answer.
  10. Could be something in the works the closer we get to launch. Still, when FE and ET came, there were annoucements made months in advance of release as to what type of rewards one would get from subscribing before launch or during launch. This Expac has been very quiet compared to the others recently. Not really sure what to make of it, if there are big things expected beyond the Nautolan species unlock for free to subscribers between a certain point in time, starting tomorrow.
  11. 1. engine was made in 2004, updated in 2007 when SWTOR was commissioned by EA after Bioware was completely brought out. the original developers of the Hero engine sold their product to another group who have been making improvements since. Never-the-less, it is a very old engine, what would you expect? 2. referred to point 1. 3. referred to point 1. 4. probably using audio technology once used back in the mid 2000's. don't expect mind-blowing performance. 5. referred to point 1. 6. referred to point 1. 7. referred to point 1. 8. i haven't had any issue with the mouse settings other than the almost invisible mouse pointer on the screen due to the rest of the GUI looking the same. 9. referred to point 1. 10. it can if you turn down the settings. for example grass detail isn't needed, and neither is shadow maps. 11.If it couldn't support 16 man groups, the game would of crashed long ago on the first attempt, so what you are saying is infact a lie. if you mean the performance suffers the more players get involved, then that is all becuse of the silly graphical things to show what skills are used, if those were toned down during 16 man groups, it wouldn't be so much an issue. these old engines have limitations. 12. referred to point 1.
  12. Just no way of getting rid of that pesky sith emperor .
  13. pssh! hahaha. i'm sure you won't ever contact bioware to confirm that i'm using that account will you, ah, just throw names and call it a win.. oh please.
  14. Delicious sounds of unnatural howling from a minority of players, the glorious sound of their spirit breaking! But seriously though, the rak event has always been like this and as others said: get the vaccine from the med droid. just make sure you don't die otherwise you'll have to get another and apply it and that vaccine isn't cheap to get, besides that you'll be free from concern of exploding players turning into a green mess like that hutt in the smuggler storyline swallowing a grenade! If you don't want to get that vaccine and get yourself worked up some more, i wouldn't suggest coming here venting or continue to play tthat aspect of the game until it ends. Being suspicious as i am, were you the one who created this thread with this inane nonsense posing as another user? if not, then unless you can mind read, i don't care what crap you wish to make up, just don't bring it here.
  15. I had enough extra CC to get one of those platinium quality lightsabers recently that i know will go for more than 100m credits easy on any ordinary day and quite honestly i've never been particularly fussed with acquriing large sums of credits from grinding, it has never been any interest to me to try. besides i'm not paying parasites on the GTN that much, forget it. they can sell it for less or they can take a hike . You gotta be kidding, there will always be that one exception to the rule who will buy something like that without looking first and think it's a good idea, or because they can or simply because money is no object to them to hold back and splashing the credits around is their means to feel good.
  16. I'm only going by what was said by Yoda in the clone wars, that the darkness permiates everything and they can't see much of what is going on. they are worried by what it all means, but i believe they have been more blinded by the darkside than they are willing to accept or admit to. These Jedi in this era are proud but stupid, they fight but not having the information they need on hand, it will get them killed knowing little to nothing of their foes. Of course, when order 66 was enacted, Yoda must of sensed the darkside consuming everything at that point, like that fog i've mentioned was just above his head until it landed on the ground and he started walking around in that fog not knowing where he was going.
  17. Even a regular SSD is signifcantly faster than a mechanical HDD and hybrid SSHD's like the 2TB firecuda. An m.2 SSD would be almost overkill, and you should always get a cooler to go with such a device to keep it from overheating as it works as well. it depends on the M.2 you choose, some are a lot slower and some are a lot quicker, but getting a great quality one with lots of room will get very expensive. still, a 1TB samsung 860 evo for example isn't terrbly expensive and has good performance to it and it will be a lot faster. depends if the OP has the motherboard to get such a thing installed or if there is a pci-e slot for an M.2 expansion card, so long as there is also second pci-e graphics card slot not in use or you got one too many sata slots, you'll have options there to activate your m.2 from at least in bios.
  18. i'm not entirely convinced by that, but then again those few could of been the exception to the rule as other jedi masters never showed up on their deaths, so there is no way to know for certain, but i choose to believe that the jedi had knowledge to preserve themselves in death in some form, even if it is just a voice. Does no one have any imagination anymore to entertain the possibility that the sith emperor we know could of taken Palpantine as a voice? doubt or not, it is hard to remove the sith emperor as a possibility being that he has no name and he would of been forgotten about over time and resides in the force.
  19. Check pingplotter or use dos command line and ping tractert the server, record the results and put them on here. it can tell if there is an issue somewhere along the route taken to connect your computer to the server and vice versa.
  20. At first i didn't know what the OP was going on about, but later in the thread it became more apparent it is a warcraft related thing. I've been toying with the idea for years if i should consider playing warcraft at any point, but it isn't like a big desire or anything of the like. however considering it is the vanilla experience in a way, it might give me the opportunity to figure this whole thing out that i've apparently missed out on. I dunno, maybe i'll consider play this warcraft thing at some point. At this point though i've had the most untraditional path into MMO games. i came through sim racing games and then just found my way to Star Trek Online and then to SWTOR. i no longer have any interest in Star Trek Online as the developers get further away from their product and more into hiring actors from the shows for nonsensical plots and silly mechanics instead of storytelling about their own game and their own game characters.
  21. i got 46 characters, but i haven't had additional character slots in some time because they have become expensive to get. all the slots are filled in and i'm reasonably happy with what i got. i'd like to get 4 more slots and hit 50 characters and leave it there, but 46 is close enough. in any event, i wouldn't mind a free slot or two on launch of onslaught if Bioware are open to it.
  22. The Jedi couldn't sense the emperor because the darkness in the force had in effect blinded the Jedi from seeing much in the force. If Sidious had managed this, it almost certainly would of involved his previous apprentice Tyrannus before he was beheaded. The clones all had these biological chips in their heads which could of caused a sort of background hum in the force, much like static, only it is dark side static if you get where i am coming from? So the Kaminoans are complicit in this as much as Tyrannus and Sidious. the CIS forces have spread death and devastation everywhere as well with those droid armies, this contributes to the darkness across the galaxy. You also have Sidious playing games from behind closed doors and wondering how CiS forces are able to intercept Republic forces at times. If you can imagine it, it would be like a very low laying thick fog in the morning with the sun beating down, but you can't see anything past your hands, and you have ear plugs in your ears and the sunlight is making it difficult to see where you are going in this fog, you feel neurally cold because of the fog is emcompassing you. it is something like that, the Jedi aren't aware of what they are sensing, they know something is out there but can't do much better than that.
  23. Any force user could become one with the force and appear as a spirit if they learn the proper technique that keeps their spirit from being destroyed on death. I don't have access to wookiepedia any more due to a cookie accept requirement, however not every force user knew of the technique to keep their spirit intact on death and it is assumed dark side users during this era didn't have the knowledge to do this any more. It seems the Jedi have that knowledge though, considering Anakin was able to survive through the death of his body after rescuing Luke from the emperor and appear as a spirit next to Yoda and Obi-wan. Clearly Anakin learned the technique when he was a jedi before his fall.
  24. Haven't you read anything the previous few comments before you made this one up? Your citation you are asking for not even you have an answer to yet, i don't have an answer to yet either. We need a baseline example of what Mandalorians are like on any typical day without any concerns pushing them. Learning about all the cultural customs and everything else you seem so concerned with and what they are like as a person,., what drives then could be a lot different than what drives an imperial or an ordinary ciitizen, so their responses could be a lot different. Wren, Sabine and all the others as you pointed out are contradictory and a piece of the puzzle is clearly missing as to what binds them together. Rebels didn't show enough because each episode isn't long enough and the threat of the imperials has changed their priorities. Deathwatch was contantly involved in fighting with a domineering leader, be it Pre or Maul, the overall Deathwatch troops didn't care, they fought and died with no consideration and when a group broke away to try save Satine and the like, there wasn't an explaination as to why. If this Manadalorian series can fill in the blanks, you'll have your citation.
