  1. 1.) At one point today, it tried to tell me I had FOUR skills, which really jumbled my crew window all to heck. 2.) Currently, it's telling me I can make ZERO of some items even though I have plenty of materials, and I actually am making them, the numerical indicator is just borked. 3.) I know I have crafting recipes I can buy, but when I click the vendor in Dromund Kaas, the window that comes up is blank blank blank. Plz fix kthxbai
  2. I HAD NO QUEUE. I experienced my first CTD, got right back in. *shrug*
  3. Dead wrong. 1.) No one wants to? I want to. Hence, refuted. 2.) Single player > multiplayer. Things not respawning behind your back > things respawning behind your back. 3.) Who messes with addons?
  4. Some people don't give a filp about being in a "full community" and just want some Star Wars. Let us use that 40-terabyte client download to play the game on our own computers. It saves our progress in a little file and updates Bioware if and when we want to get on to rejoin the "experience" of other people. That way, queues are alleviated for the people who feel the need to run around with 500 strangers in order to be happy, and queues are nonexistent for the rest of us. Win-win.
  5. Because different people play games differently and some of us like to rely on our own wits and skills and not have to put up with the ******tery of others. If Bioware didn't want these things to be one-player-doable they wouldn't have made them that way.
  6. MMO noob-ish person here. Is there a downside? I know the legacy system applies only to characters on one server, but if one were to have one server for republic classes and one for sith, I don't think one would miss out on that aspect much.
  7. Twice now I've got planet commendation medals in my inbox as some after-thought reward. But... they just sit in my inventory and I can't get the to count towards my currency.
  8. You know, Bioware was my last hope for having a game developer I could really really like. CCP fails, I never thought Bungie was all that hot... But after a week of having practically zero Bioware feedback or comment about the dozen major issues that have popped up... I have to say I'm losing a bit of respect here. A simple "Hey, to fix A, we're discussing trying B or maybe C, and you have to understand D wouldn't work because of X," that sort of thing, would be so cool. They are not currently being so cool.
  9. Got my email ups code today.
  10. If I disconnect for 1 minute (which NEVER happens in Rift, btw, so, it's not my fault,) why do I have to queue? Please, Bioware, speak.
  11. Do you know what "disaster" means? It sounds like transferring servers fixed the problem. If you can fix it in a few minutes, how the hell is it a disaster? Which, by the way, is even assuming light population servers is any kind of bad thing. People keep throwing around phrases like, "but soon the servers will be deserted and the end of the world will ensue!" How...? From my perspective, there would be 100 people running around who I DO NOT want to interact with instead of 1000. Where is the problem in that? Even if there will be too many servers in the future, that's no excuse for taking no action now. I thing a big company like Bioware can afford to buy a truckload of servers, use them for the first few months of heavy traffic, then consolidate servers later on IF there are too few active accounts on one to make them happy. They then sell off their excess servers. There is no law preventing companies from using eBay. Or better yet, take all the servers they used to make game-launch actually ENJOYABLE, and create a mobile server powerhouse they can then loan/sell to NEW mmo's, so THEY can have enjoyable launches, and so on and so forth, creating a better world for years to come.
  12. I'm sort of in a similar boat, but not quite. I just wish there was a single-player option in MMO's, you know? I mean, I'm assuming my computer has pretty much everything it needs to play the game without being connected to the server; that 7-trillion GB install contained SOMETHING. So, make it available offline. My comp keeps track of my character, and iffff I ever want to interact with anyone else, my comp updates Bioware on my character when I connect, and presto.
  13. Or we could demand quality service -now-, during the winter holiday, when we have TIME for the game, instead of having to wait until we're all back to being busy for the first chance to actually have fun with the game we bought.
  14. Just because I gave them more money DOES mean they should treat me special.
  15. Serious question; you're telling me the technology doesn't exist to create some sort of backup/expansion so that when a que time gets unreasonable, they can just expand the size of the thing? We can put a man on the moon, but with 3 years of planning we still don't have the capacity to let everyone play in a timely manner?
  16. Now I'm concerned. I got DC'd several times last night and didn't have to have any que wait... And in RIFT, I never had to wait in a que after I first logged into my server. You're telling me SWTOR has que wait after initial server choice?!
  17. Hm. Well my personal belief is that, any solution that contains the phrase "update your drivers" is voodoo bullhocky of the highest order. But anyway. Nobody else?
  18. Does this happen to anyone else? In the middle of combat, or performing some action, the camera will try and auto-correct to face the direction your character is facing? And 90% if the time it tries, you're in the midst of turning yourself? And the end result is a second of two of "*** where am I?" SO. ANNOYING. Can't find how to turn that off. Help? Thanks.
