  1. Yah that's what I really need. I enjoyed the other MMO I tried because my friend and I played, but right now I'm running on this alone.
  2. When do you get your ship? I'm playing a sith Assassin and a Merc Bounty Hunter. I figured it was good idea to try two storylines out. Duo would seem fun with this game, but hard to find someone who won't outlevel you with your limited time (large guilds are not for me).
  3. I feel like I'm the "big target" audience for this game. Who is a huge star wars fan, love's all the Bioware games. Is a big gamer, but is a busy professional who doesn't have a ton of time to be a hardcore MMO player. Used to play around with some MMO's in the past but was never a raider. Likes story in games more than loot or pvp. Anyone else feel like that but just not having a ton of fun? Maybe I need a guild or to play with someone but with limited time I can't see that being a regular thing. Not a compliment, this game is clearly well made from my limited MMO experience. It has that Bioware touch... but maybe I was expecting more from the previews I read how it was KOTOR "3,4,5 etc". After a few hours of playing all I kinda want to do is go to play Mass Effect, Skyrim, or the Witcher (I'm a big RPG fan). The world seems static, towns don't feel alive, and you are just collecting and fetching items most of the time, plus it all feels really guided. I think that's ok, that seems to be what MMO's are about... but it doesn't feel like the epic KOTOR sequels I wanted. Again, the game clearly is well made but just added my two cents, and seeing if anyone else feels this way. I think I'm the big target market they are hoping to crack but I just can't see myself devoting 100's of hours over the next year when in that time I could finish a half dozen other games that are shorter but more satisfying. Just looking for some intelligent feedback/debate. No need to bust in defending your $60 spent, not sure why gamers get offended... you didn't make the game.
  4. yah I saw that, just wondering if the RP community was rallying behind one. If not I may just got for a PVE - RP... I really like PVP but being around some typical little kids on PVP servers, well hoping to avoid that and not break my immerssion.
  5. Is there a defacto RP-PVP server where the more "serious" RP's are going? I'd like to engage in PVP but want to stay in character, especially during quests and flashpoints. Any info would be great, hate to roll on a RP server where it doesn't feel very role playish.
  6. Maybe you should like... you know have things to do other than play games?
  7. Haha I wouldn't call those things being a loser! I'm at work as well, with plans already tonight. So it looks like it will be tomorrow night at the earliest for me, even though I'm already in. I'm not expecting to play much though anyway, Friday is my game night... Graduate school and work ahhh!!
  8. Was thinking of rolling on a RP server, but I couldn't choose between them... So I figured I might as well give open world pvp a shot as well. Anyone know what to expect? What's the community buzz on RP? I'm a light roleplayer, but I want to be around other people who stay in character during quests and flashpoints. If not does the community have an "unofficial" serious RP server?
