  1. Srs, I am slow to level and a level cap raise will totally kill the current

Endgame which I think is perfect the way it is. Gearing up isn't too difficult,

And we can just play and have fun rather than grinding for months only to face

    A new cap raise.

When I played vanilla wow, i busted my *** to get to 60, the day I hit 60,

A week later bc hit, all my gear became outdated and I was considers

A noon even my lower levels because I was not the highest level.

    It's ridiculous.

Endgame??? Are you sure we're still talking about TOR??? LMAO!!!

  2. I'm on the Harbinger and happy to say that the imperial fleet was over crowded with me, myself and I lmao!! I was the ONLY one on there and it felt great :) An entire imperial fleet at my disposal. While playing I noticed 3 ppl total on the server :) so quiet, no queues and quite enjoyable. And having those other 2 ppl on the same server didn't bother me as I only saw one other person very briefly...
  3. It's simple economics really. Gold sellers only target games they think are going to be profitable for a long time down the road. This game obviously isn't. Gold selling is big business and a huge time sink involved in the investment. Obviously they don't consider this game to be so great in order to invest a lot of time involved. EQ2, WoW, Rift, etc..., all the big name games that have a presence and been around for a while do have a heavy gold selling presence but not this one. Even they know this game is not doing as well as it should. Am I bashing the game - no, just giving an unbiased economical view. If the game was doing so great and could be compared to the "second coming" I guarentee you, you'd see a lot more gold sellers hawking their wares. I've been here since the very beginning and remember the gold sellers now they've all but disappeared. It's sad really when you think about it. The gold sellers are really what determines the games true success. Better the game the more gold sellers. During the last year of playing WoW, before MoP beta was introduced, I saw a dramatic drop in gold sellers spamming trade chat until it was non-existant. You REALLY think that Blizz can stop them?? If they can't stop them, then NOBODY can.

As I said, it's all about economy and time investment. Gold sellers are spamming the channels in D3 lol!! We'll just see how long that lasts. If the current trend to leave D3 for the myriad of different reasons that were presented, you'll also see a dramatic drop as well.

  4. Thanks for tuning in to todays episode of bash bioware over something stupid instead of just playing the game.

Actually it's not stupid. It just shows the intellectual prowess, or lack thereof, of what's supposed to be a "professional" company making such a blatently obvious error. Shame on Bioware...

The word is "Sorcerer." it comes from the Middle English sorser, sorcerer, from Old French sorcier, from Latin sors, sort-, lot, fortune. The verb form is: sorcere. Example: As a sorcerer, he is able to sorcere through the forbidden dark arts.

Once again this is NOT rocket science folks...

  5. Yeah, around 1 million sub and the third largest MMO on the market. DAMN YOUR FAILURE BIOWARE!!! Why do you suck so hard?

I believe it is a fail when their installer has constant issues with corrupted files. I'm not the only one - the forum is rift with them... it's just very annoying to pay for something you can't play....

  6. Dead in the water? What the HELL are you talking about... lol ok I get it. You REALLY wanted to make another doomsaying post but were smart enough to see that they are overdone so you put it in the form of guild ships one :p +1 to you good sir. +1 indeed.

You will get your guiild ships with open space combat soon enough. When it comes it will be something so jaw droppingly amazing that they will make you say sorry with it :) Hey wait..if you think this game is crashing and burning why are you here? Sounds insane to me...

Well I do like star wars and thought about giving this game another chance but I'm still waiting and waiting and waiting fighting an epic battle against the "Repairing Corrupted Files" Boss on my computer... Ah some things about this game just NEVER change...

  7. We already blew yours up, sorry :(

New one is in the post...

Ok Mr. Snarky... seeing that this game is just about dead in the water, I was HOPING that the community was going to rally for this but obviously not. Oh well, I guess F2P with a B2W platform will recoup EA's losses in time...

  8. I have to agree with the OP on this one. You spent all that money on something that everyone else thinks they can just come up and use. You should get some kind of kick-back. Ppl in other MMO's do it all the time; my mage charges to port and chant for others in WoW. I think you should just start charging ppl and not let them take advantage of your kindness. For guildies it's always free but tell them not to exaggerate :) everyone else, you should charge according to their level.
  9. That's actually a great idea. Since BW "borrowed" so much from other games, Rift, EQ2, WoW, why not add shinies for collections, archaeology, etc... that YOU do and not something dumb like sending out your useless pet to do...
  10. I look at it this way, this game is already dead and pops are already 6 feet under. So If I'm on a "dead" or very low populated server, that's great for me - more nodes for me to gather without the competition from anyone else :D And I can pretend to be the emperor of that server mwahahahahah!
  11. I recruit a friend my wife and hadalready a paid month on her account AFTER the free 30day trial was up.

I have the speeder on my PTS characters but none of my live characters have it.

Frustrated that we have no answers to this.

Tsk, tsk, tsk - haven't you learned by now that BW has made an art out of leaving us in the dark and not providing us with any answers for if they did, we might actually know something that's going on and they can't have that lol!

  12. I think the best thing that they can do for this game to save the Tortanic from completely going under is to make it F2P and set up a microtransaction centre for P2W platform. That would bring in more ppl cuz at it stands now, this is probably the most expensive "MMO" failure in gaming history...
  13. Not at all; see, for example, how the player base has tinkered with Morrowind over the years, to great effect.

Not tinkered - modded; there is a DRASTIC DIFFERENCE. Charles Manson is more stable than this game and I find it abhorrent that we have to go through all these back-flips through fire just to get a sub-par game to work properly. But then again, I suppose if the devs actually knew what the hell they were doing, we, the gamers/modders who know more than the useless devs, wouldn't have to go out of our way to fix this mess. Great ramdisk program and those of you who worked on fixing the devs' debacle. You know, they should be paying you guys for fixing their crap or compensating you for your time involved. But, sorry to say, EA, i.e., "The Kiss of Death" would sooner sell their mother for a dollar than compensate you guys for your great work. Is it no wonder that EA was voted the very worst company in America???

Damm straight about that. You could get killed crafting in EQ2 lol! Probably THE BEST crafting system of all time. Everyone else just sucks basically; just click and hope for proc... WoW have games gotten lazy... And the stuff you made was useful and powerful not like the useless garbage you create in this joke of a game. But I guess that's just the way games are moving towards these days... Hell, my legendary stuff I create in the RPG's is 1000x better than the crap in this game ROFLMMFAO!!

  15. Unnecessary Clarification: I wasn't referring to the word lie.

Statement: That's because if the exhaustion zones were not there you'd reach the edge of the map and fall off into nothingness. Then people would complain that there's no indication that you've gone too far. You'd also see the nothingness and it would look really bad. The feeling of being on a planet would be completely gone.

Correction: It's not a lie. The world that they created IS fully explorable.

Statement: I'd like to go to Sulon again. The last time I've been there was in Jedi Knight Dark Forces II. There was the Katarn Homestead and Baron's Head. "Barons Hed, also spelled Baron's Hed and sometimes called the "Fallen City", was once a great spaceport full of life, with busy market streets, entertainment and cantinas that was located on Sulon." I'd like to see that bustling city. We've seen it after the Empire took control, but not before.

Unneccesary Correction: There are many areas, for example on Ord Mantell, under the bridge that was demolished you MUST walk in a straight line under it otherwise you hit an exhaustion zone. This has happened to me many times.

Unneccesary Correction: Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, etc..., are NOT fully explorable. You are constrained to a corridor. You CAN NOT explore any other parts of the planet as everything is instanced out.

Suggestion: Try to explore "outside the box" on these worlds and see how far you get.
