WOW devs stated we would never get to use flying mounts in the classic areas but look how that turned out.....

keep in mind there is still ALOT of people who didnt rush to lv.50 so its not surpriseing that we will have this issue from the start..

Why do people feel that if SWTOR doesnt match WOW's sub count that it has failed.....

100% argee as long it stays within server its great for building a community. It not only allows you to do other stuff while in que, but also makes it easier to meet new people. on a side note...lets keep the doom and boom out of this topic please....it doesnt help the cause..

compare ANY new MMO to a MMO that has almost 8 years of polish and new content... that new MMO is doomed for failure...

I love how people use wow's 11 million as a tool to rant on SWTOR... There was no way in this crasy galaxy that SWTOR was gonna launch with 11 million subs, so stop using that as a tool.

true but..... Premades are the bane of all MMO PVP..... why would SWTOR be any different... UI is being fixed.. i remember the days when people gave MMO's time instead of hitting *cancel* the first week..too bad unless your blizzard your never given a chance

I remember when wow had hour plus wait ques.......there WILL be a drop off to people who will quit.. sadly we dont know what that number will be and pulling any form of numbers out of our butts Rather its good or bad is just plain being a tool.....

While I mostly argee with the OP...currently I'm on tattoine and its tough to find people. HOWEVER on high player load nights on my server the lower level planets (1-20) are packed with people...I swear even had to fight for quest stuff. The best thing BW could do to SWTOR is cut away at all the instancing and phasing.

If everyone used forums as a example of user cancel percentage than every MMO known to man would have flopped...... mods need to just close this thread since its nothing more than a flamefest..

I think when BW feels what will the populations will be...I think it will than be fair to say that they will be removed....this also has been stated by the DEVs. sadly we can say this has been taken a bit too far...

I think as time goes on EVERYONE will argee(If not allready) that BW went over board with all the sharding or whatever.. Also Its not hard to see BW correcting that issue.

while i argee with the OP HOWEVER we all have to understand that there isnt a STORMWIND or IRONFORGE place in SWTOR for people to mob around in.

This is a problem that EVERY MMO has....I repeat EVERY MMO has....people will power grind their way to max level at super insane speeds.. The only way to fix this issue is to make insane XP reqs or change the system alltogether. Now we all know what is likely could happan (NONE OF THE ABOVE). The Freeform spcecombat dead horse has been beaten since the forums opened way back when. The devs have stated that they are planning something for space but it IS NOT the main thing their working on. I have been down this road before TWO TIMEs in sci fi MMOs (SWG) (STO)....when 2 different gameplay systems are rushed together...they never are perfection and we know what happans when people dont get perfection.... please people its the first week....lets give it time for the love of god.....
