WoW just went to the model that pvp and pve ques are drawn from ALL servers and what used to be 20 minute ques are now less than a minute. My main complaint at any game is wasted time doing nothing waiting for something to happen. WoW's looking better and better now tho I prefer the Star Wars lore and graphics. Oh, and world pvp is off the charts now in WoW since they merged servers. Hmmm, no wait on bg's and raids and constant world pvp? SWtoR needs to get on the ball.

Have never been one to jump on the big bandwagon. Would rather be part of something from the start and help build it. I pre-ordered this game and played it for about 3 monthes out of the gate. I just resubbed last week and imo the game has come a long ways and I believe me and my other friends who resubbed will be here for quite a while. The biggest improvement to me is I have not seen a single cheater/hacker in pvp since I came back but when I quit it was running rampant. Oh, and I has a light saber. Whats not to love?

lol not. I been playing mmorpg's since UO pre-tram and am just sick of the crap thats been offered us the last couple years. Last really good game was DaoC and how long ago was that in its prime? You gamers today would be pissed off too if you had some history of how good games used to be and how good they could be again if everyone stopped trying to be a theme park wow clone. And bad ones at that. The unemployment reference was just to show how numbers can be manipulated to make things seem better than they are.

1.3 million minus players with sub time but not playing and have cancelled (me) minus players playing out the free month minus players who ordered 6 monthes in advance minus players who ordered TSW or GW2 and are just waiting to abandon ship= a hell of a lot less than 1.3 million. Oh, and thats 1.3 million (prolly more like 500k) and falling. Its like the government telling us unemployment is down to 8% when in reality they arnt counting people whos unemployment has run out or people who have left the work force and its more like 18-20%. Manipulated numbers and reality are 2 way different things.

No. Game engine is flawed and odds are there will never be decent size battles without massive lag no matter what they do. And client side server just leads to way too much hacking. Life is too short to hitch your wagon to a losing horse.

Game implemented rated bg's tomorrow it wouldnt be enough. After playing in both the TSW and GW2 beta rated bg's in SWtoR could not keep me here. It would STILL just be the same old same old with a different name attached to it. Both the other games have huge world objective based pvp as well as GW2 having bg's AND arena and TSW having bg's AND warfronts. AND in both games it matters to your faction or realm as a whole whether you win or not. SWtoR needs to pull a rabbit out of their hat in the next couple of weeks to even stand a slight chance of staying relative in the mmorpg arena. Fanbois holding their breath waiting for that to happen will further decrease their number of subs. FLAME ON!

Oh my gosh I forgot to list what I think is the worst thing about the game-making it client side instead of server side. Did bio have so much faith in the gaming community they didnt think people were going to cheat? Ginormous lol at that one.

OK. So I go bid on a job. They say they want it by so and so a date. If I cant deliver by that date guess what? Welcome to real life. Expecting someone to give an eta on job completion is not an unreasonable thing. I honestly dont think they can fix the game at this point because of 3 things- 1) the game engine is seriously flawed and 2) at this point lore is out the window. Warzones with Jedi vs. Jedi? Its not the Star Wars I know and love 3) too many other really good games coming out soon and once the sub numbers are released to stockholders they will start pulling devs. If they cant fix this with a full staff they dont stand a chance once that happens. Side note-if I bid a job and dont get it done on time I dont get to charge them more money by telling them I have no idea how long it will take. Good luck selling that one.

When it comes to dev's communicating with their player base silence is not golden. Can anyone honestly tell me what their plans are? Anyone? Obviously their original vision for the game has changed and it would just be nice to know what their plans are? Can they improve fps in larger battles? Are they even trying? Thats why I will no longer keep pumping my money into this game. I have no idea what the plans for this game are anymore and I will not invest my time money in people who will not even tell me what my money is being used for.

Secret World-just started beta. Its pretty awesome. Fluid combat, great story, KILLER graphics. That is all.

Aint that the truth. Secret World beta starts for me at 5 est and I doubt I'll look back even past that. I will play GW2 AND Secret World and pay the same sub amount for both combined that I pay for just SWtoR and imo they are BOTH superior games. My parting thought? PVE'ers ruin mmorpg's not pvp'ers by WASTING dev time to keep them constantly amused when all pvp'ers need is something good in place and it will last us for years. Balance, schmalance, pvp'ers just roll the op classes and giddy up.

casuals/carebears are sheep and follow the pvp'ers around so they can hang out with the "cool kids." When the pvp community abandons ship the doomsday clock begins to tick on an mmorpg. I've seen it happen too many times before. Rift, Warhammer, Aion, AoC, and now SWtoR. ALL those games tanked when the pvp'ers left. Well at least I got into the secret world beta and have something to look forward too. I will NEVER play a game again based on endless gear progression and endlessly repeating the same raids and bg's over and over.

If my account has 20 days on it but I have cancelled and quit playing are they still counting me? And what about the 30 day free people? Are they counting them too? If so the number is WAY smaller than that.
