  1. Lay off the crew skills and run quests IMO. I did *some* crew skills on both my characters but nothing to excess and I had about 60k in the bank when I got to 25 both times. You could also go back and finish any heroics you havent done (including gray ones) or just go kill tons of enemies.
  2. All the classes can solo PvE 1-50 and according to Bioware they are reasonably balanced in PvP if played properly. Personally, if I am playing a non-healing character I tend to use my healing companion as soon as I get them and use Biochem stims before then.
  3. You can go to a skill trainer on the Fleet station (not your class trainer) that will reset your entire skill tree. You cant pick a different AC but you can change where your points are spent.
  4. What 'new' patch? Modable items have been that way since at least late August. You do not have to use the assembly station at all.
  5. Flashpoints appear to drop only modable gear usable by the classes that are currently in group. When I go through them solo I ONLY see 'modable' items drop for my own class. I've got the 'sets' from a few FP this way on my trooper.
  6. There are those stims for you and companion starting fairly early on. They are slightly less powerful than the same-level self heal ones though. Also, they appear to be able to revive a fallen companion even during combat. I dont know if that is intended but it works that way currently.
  7. The 'fragments' are assembled by the Curator. There should be one on Nar Shaddaa if they did not move him.
  8. That should NOT happen on a PvE server period. That is 'forced' PvP essentially. If I am not flagged for PvP I should not be able to damage an PvP flagged player. There are a couple of reasons: 1) I dont want to be 'ganked' when I am out fighting PvE when someone intentionally gets into an AOE by me or my Companion. 2) As a non-flagged player I could attack a flagged player at any time and they wouldnt have any advanced warning. It gives the non-flagged player the advantage.
  9. By any chance are you doing this on Nar Shaddaa? There are two shuttles there and only one works for each faction. Other than that, I dont know why it would not work.
  10. Follow your class series and do the other quests along the way. By 10/11 you should be heading to Coruscant (via the fleet station) assuming your class quest is directing you there.
  11. I believe most of the rewards for space missions are only granted once per day.
  12. When I was last on NS I could see both of them marked on the map but only one actually worked for me. They are both on the outer ring outside on the upper promenade. You might try riding around the other side and see if the other one works. If that isnt the issue, I have no idea why it wouldnt let you use it.
  13. A ways back he actually was a ranged guy and used Aim of course. For whatever reason he was changed but his primary stat remained AIM (there are other melee companions that way also for some reason)
  14. Arent the BoP items also restricted to Cybertech only as well? I think they are meant as a 'bonus' for the crafter himself.
  15. Invite them to a group with you. Then you enter the ship hangar first and they can follow you in.
  16. Yeah, I think class missions are forced in regardless of the cap.
  17. At that level you might not have any 'agro' gain abilities other than normal damage. The best you can do is make sure you are damaging all the enemies enough so they dont run after the rest of the group. Eventually you will get some 'threat gain' abilities and those will make it a bit easier. Also, keep in mind, it is the groups job to manage their own agro as well. If they are not targeting the correct enemy they can grab agro.
  18. Type /dance Or look for the emote icon up by the chat window and click the option from there.
  19. Do some of them have the Triangle above their head for you? One thing to check is your logbook. Make sure it isnt at 25/25 (look for the number on the logbook screen). If it is, you need to abandon or complete some quests before you can take more.
  20. Soloing is very common in MMOs and thats what most people do while 'leveling' outside those few group-required quests. You certainly can ask people to group up and some might be willing but a lot of people prefer to go at their own pace.
  21. Companions cant wear alignment gear at all. The way gifts work is after a certain point a particular gift rank will no longer give any affection points. Once that happens you'll have to go to a higher tier gift to get more affection in that way. (higher tier gifts do give more points as well)

    Stap

You cant use them until 25, but it will be in your email box in-game.

    mount?

Mounts start at 25, and no you cant change the type of weapon you use unfortunately.
  24. No there is no way to do that.
  25. I'm not sure what that means. What specifically are you wanting it to do that it doesnt already?
