I don't think it's knee-jerk at all. If certain items (datacrons, crystals, pets) were available through the Legacy once you have done what is needed (example: HK-51) you should be able to spend to open them on your other characters. There is no reason NOT to at this point. Think about it as a "New Game +", you start over, but get the benefits of what you have done before. I don't think that's asking too much.

If it WERE that simple, we wouldn't have this problem. It's not like someone gets a special flag or marker telling you that they are jerk and plan on stealing most everything from you. On top of that, most of the people who play MMOs have to start somewhere and the "rules" of gaming are not known to them. We can inform and warn and ban and block etc all we want but that won't stop the real troublemakers. If that were possible, I'd never read something awful or stupid in general chat. People can only DO so much for "their" community. You can't force other people to adhere to civility and manners.

^Truth. I have been playing since launch and the random loot claiming has increased a little since F2P came out but it's really not THAT significant. I think people just need to be educated about the rules. It's not gonna stop the looters but honestly, random FP loot isn't worth griping too much over.

I do agree with what you are saying here, especially about the 50s not having "anything to do". But I don't see the problem with allowing the addition of the stats from the datacrons to each of your toons with a legacy perk. I have 5 toons currently, 3-50s and 2-in the 20s and if anything, I want to level them asap. That being said, I hate having to repeat everything so much. I think a great compromise would be to allow the stats to be passed on and NOT the XP. This would still give people reason to hunt for them and people like myself to not have to spend ALL that time again doing the same thing over and over again.

/Signed I'm totally behind you on this topic. I think the way crystals are so sought after in the game is ridiculous. I LOVE changing my crystals all the time because I get sick of the color. So I have a bank of 11+ crystals now (including Cartel colors) that I have to pay to swap...let alone the fact that I can't send any of the rarer crystals to any of my alts. I understand rarity is the cause for the lack of a quick palette swap in my lightsaber but if you spent 3 million credits on a color, you would hope that you could use it on more than just one of your toons.

/SIGNED OMG... I have all but 2 on my Main including the +10 and I will tell you I will NEVER hunt for those for my other toons. Let me pass on all my work to my alts! Isn't that the basis for Legacy in the first place?

^ TRUTH. I am much more a PVEer than PVP and I agree 100% with this story. These are some FUN times in MMOs. You want to have a 30 v 30 PVP battle where everyone is beating on everyone.

HK should be Global/Legacy bound. Many of us have a few level 50s already but don't do everything with each. My example (Main-50 Jedi Shadow-PVE/RAID, Alt-50 Sith Warrior-CRAFTING, Alt Jedi Guardian-PVP) plus 2 more littles that are being played. I've dumped a ton of time and effort into the game, why not reward us for playing so much. Legacy is too expensive and having to do the HK quest over and over again is a waste of time when I've already done so much already. I wanna get the most of of my game (which I am and I love it) but gimme 2 weeks and SectionX will be like the Black Hole for me... autopilot and boring.

I agree. This REALLY isn't tough to get to and through. If anything, it should be fun to fight the other faction for a few minutes. All in all, you're not really pvping that much and the hardcore PVPers will fight each other so run in, run out, build your bot.

I know it's been said before but MAKE CRYSTALS BIND ON LEGACY! It is really the ONLY thing I collect in this game and I hate the fact that my main has 13 crystals that I paid insane amount of credits for that only he can use. I paid a ton for my purple crystal, at least give me the option to trade it to one of my alts.

Yeah, I thought that was a little strange too. I figured you would be locked out of buying things you don't need if you are a subscriber.
