Sounds to me like you think you deserve to win all the time just cause you got started on that aspect of the game first. What's your whine exactly?

I play a consular mostly. And I have range. I get kills. And I even make a pretty forward. Thinking of yourself as melee only gimps you.

This idea actually DOES work. Mythic did it with Dark Age of Camelot. Underdog realms recieved nice bonuses and in RVR combat the underdogs recieved bonuses as well. I happened to be a Midgard player and by that right was naturally an underdog a majority of the time. When we fielded a team of 8 - the Albs would have anywhere from double to triple that most of the time. But with bonuses the fights were MUCH better....

Uh yeah, can't you sell it for a profit?

From my experience in the weekend beta stress test, this is possible... once I attained a rank 1 on the light side of my moral choices, I lost the ability to use a saber with a red crystal in it (which I specifically bought modified cause I liked the idea of being a red saber user on the side of the good guys.)
